"ID.me" is a good authentication tool. To say this is not a pain in the butt would be a lie. There still is work to do to make this more user friendly. Still if you have the time knuckle through the finding the documents, imaging the documents getting an error imaging again, getting another error, imaging again. Getting an image that takes, having it evaluated and told the unexpired document is "expired" then changing to another document again getting similar errors - finally getting it to take. Just when you think it is over you are prompted to complete the visual submission. You then praise (whoever you like) - that it was suggested to take 5 to 15 minutes and it is a 1.5 hours later. So, my intent let us put a happy face on the experience with humor.
The agents were helpful it was just difficult to know what to do after the agent has hung up and the completion of the process is difficult to understand what to do next.

My advice is to call on Wednesday or Thursday and stay on hold for a live person. I got the information and was able to file within 45 min of the time I began holding.
