Somewhat difficult due to not having the equipment needed for this process. You need a better way to help us that don't have cameras on their computers an easier way for you to get verification

I was able to reach an agent in a short period of time. She was courteous and helped me to complete my task. I would work with her again if I had the choice to.
The young woman was very professional and courteous, I never had done anything of the sort and I was a bit nervous at first but after speaking with her she help me be at ease

There not much I know about this business. JUST be patient in what they ask of, far as the documents they ask the name dates needs to be right for you to move forward fast.

I established my ID ME ACCOUNT and tired to file.it still will not take my social security number.I tried for six days.I think the system they use total BS.
The ID person refused to input my real name as it is on the California drivers license. This locked me out of the claim application. This is a horrid mistake that has cost me greatly.
Found the process from beginning too complicated. Could be so much smoother if video chat from beginning. Too many steps to verify. I do understand it is for my protection. Thank you for the service.

Took a long time but we finish! I tried to complete at work on my break and unable to complete! Had my daughter come over to help! She works on the computer better then myself!

I don't think I ever got in! I am very good with my phone and iPad and this was very difficult. I'm sure there are a lot of people that cannot do this at all.

Account suspended without a reason. THEY DONT HAVE A HELP DESK PHONE NUMBER. Numerous emails to resolve went unanswered I can't believe the IRS picked them when they don't offer customer service to resolve problems.
At first I was a little leery of giving all my information out there. But once I received an email verification and help I was okay. It is a great tool for paying my taxes

While on irs.gov site I was informed that I would need to create an account with ID.me or lose my access to my IRS online account. I already have login.gov but that did not seem an option offered by IRS. A little checking indicated that ID.me was a private entity and that IRS required taxpayers to give them private information to access their own tax account. Makes no sense to me. I did not appreciate being put in this bind - particularly when you read the small print that you have to accept before establishing an ID.me account.
In a world where online security is a laughable concept, and private vendors are always "monetizing" your private information ID.me required key information including photos of my drivers license, SS#, address, etc. The process itself is pretty decent and I was verified within a few minutes but I feel more insecure with my information in the hands of a private entity than in the hands of the IRS. But I had no option so will have to cross my fingers and hope for the best.
I was a little nervous about the video call, but there was nothing to worry about. It was quick and easy and didn't even take more then 10 minutes! Very nice and helpful as well.

I had to use I'd verify for the irs I been waiting all year for my refund and got a notice that I had to verify who I was well I waited 2hrs for the irs so instead it let me make a next day appointment at 3pm well at exactly 3pm I was on I'd video and was done by 3:15 the service was fast and easy and customer service was excellent.
