The steps to sign up are clearly laid out --- especially the process to send in pics of a selfie and my ID! I thought it was going to take much longer but it took about 10 minutes!
It was supper good. I had a good service the experience was easy just ensure that you have all your documents for verification it shouldn't take more than five minutes to complete.
You are not allowed to keep drivers license and social security number and a 3D selfie for identification. Requires prior consent; cannot tell people that they have to login to delete storage?!
Once they tell you what to do next it's easier. Everything is they, but your on your own. If you miss something, you'll get an email to come back and complete it.

It began when ID.me’s CEO and founder Blake Hall, a decorated Army Ranger, watched a military veteran display their DD214 separation paperwork to a store employee to claim a military discount. The document held far more information than was needed to verify military service. Exposing so much personal information for a single benefit was risky and unnecessary. There had to be a better way.
We set out with the mission to make community verification easier and more secure. We began with the military community, but quickly grew to include students, teachers, nurses, first responders, and government employees.
We built partnerships with hundreds of retailers and expanded into regulated sectors like government, healthcare, and financial services with legal identity verification for high-risk transactions.
