ID.me was easy to use. I didn't have any difficulty navigating through the website to get to what I was looking for. Just a couple clicks and I was good to go.
My experience with id.me overall was very good! When I first went to the site I was having trouble with logging in (my phone number had changed and my account still had my old number). So I contacted tech support and was able to get the issue resolved and I regained access to my account within the same day! As far as the ID verification I would recommend doing a live video chat bc the other way was much harder. You will probably have a bit of a wait time for the video call but it's well worth it! My representative was great and it didn't take long to complete the process! Once your verified everything works great! No issues!

Easy to do but you have to do it over even though I have been using ID.me for years. Just repeating process over and over each user. Even after signing in with a PW, you have yo redo things Ypu may want to try another way, if available.

Multi-Factor Authentication is a pain in the butt at best, but ID.me does not have a clue. If you have a new phone number, and you forget your password, you are up the creek. If you want to change your password, they send a "verification" text to the phone number that no longer works. But, if you want to change your phone number, you absolutely must have your password. This company has no business being in business - especially not in a business that is remotely associated with paying taxes. I have to give one star - bummer... they don't deserve it.
