I asked them to explain why, when prompted to join their video chat, I was unable to use my pin requested to join. And why Microsoft volunteered for me to use a key they had and it worked. I am still stressing about this. I cannot say I love ID.me as they write I should in the title of their email. SAFETY is far more important to me and this principle has been ignored in terms of feedback as to why this happened. If they don't know why at least they should address it back to me.

Simple instructions and the process was quick. The face scanning takes a little adjusting but you get good feedback in the process (the system gives you direction i. E. 'move left') which was very helpful. Login.gov never accepted any photo or even a scan of my drivers license- it was downright maddening.

Mercedes at ID.me went out of her way in my verification process to get an IRS on-line account. Living in China, it is sometimes hard connecting to the USA. When I got to the video process, I could not connect. Mercedes called my family in Arizona and I was contacted. Very easy and Quick to do. It is even great that it allows you to get a link texted to your cell so you can utilize your camera on your cell. It was Easy and fantastic since I do not even use or have my camera set up on my laptop……
