I always and CONSISTENTLY have issues with using ID.me due to the fact that it will not work. It will return me directly to the login page without actually allowing me to either create or update my ID.me credentials. I have had it interfere with my school's website, the FAFSA website, the Social Security page, and other government pages. I'm thoroughly unimpressed, and I don't know if it's my actual identity profile that has a problem, or if it's the entire damn page. Either way, something needs to give, and I honestly am at a point in my life where I'm tired of fighting with glitching code. But what else can I expect from a government-run website?
2 years ago I went through the verification process and have used ID Me for a while, I don't understand why I had to do it again. I hope this process doesn't have to be renewed every year.
