I have no clue what homestead is or how it works, but I don't recall filing for that. I'm just a single parent of two children and one on the way; living with my parents. The letter stated if I didn't resolve my issue (filing for homestead) within 30 days I will not be receiving a tax refund period. Which is highly upsetting considering I filed my taxes over a month ago and got accepted on chime Jan 17th. And it's now the middle of February and I give birth in March. & now I will not have any money to buy my new child anything.
