I have used ID.me for myself, brother, and father's ID several months apart. First me, my brother a year later, then my father two years later. Despite the lag in time, their self video verification process does not work and has not improved nor been fixed. We always end up having to call an agent. Extremely incompetent and inconvenient process.

They can't even handle basic image recognition, their UI/UX is awful and their approach to design is to throw a bunch of useless buzzwords that don't reflect what they're actually doing. They said "everything is fine and validated!" And then said it failed, 6 times, and locked me out of my own account preventing me from access my own medical records. I am a developer myself and let me tell you: if someone can't handle basic UI and design there is no way in hell I'm trusting them with something like security. So if this company can't handle UI and design why should anyone trust them to secure their information?
Had only one problem computer accepting my documents other than that everything was okay in today's world it is very important to have your potentials guarded look today is technology gaining access to people's information is very easy unfortunately so the better protection we have the better off we will be in making calls to government agencies and other professional agencies sometimes the employees don't know what they're talking about you're on hold for a long time and you finally get someone and they can't help you also all of these places have call centers that's overseas that show you your information and spread around the world and can easily be accessed so the more protection you have in today's world the better chance you might have

I had to study it over and over again and spend a lot of time to crack it to get back the $384. Can the system be more user-friendly? Improvements should allow new taxpayers to use the ID card and photo collection function to verify their accounts and enter the correct numbers after making mistakes, so that US residents don't have to waste a lot of time.
Totally wrecked my life. I had to use this service for unemployment benefits. Then I was contacted by a gentleman stating he was with I'd/me. Then after a while I got contacted by someone saying my accounts had been merged? Then suspended. There is no phone number to contact anyone. Then I tried to explain it to Roy the good old chat box. He denied my testimony. In January I filed for unemployment and still to this day nothing. Unemployment says my benefits are sitting there but I can't get passed this crap. Pathetic

Since they don't specify which smart devices work with verification system, uploading did NOT work at first. No instructions or useful alerts or error messages are ever given, you're simply looking at a blank screen wondering what the problem is.
I was able to order a replacement card and verify that form of ID in the same day to obtain employment. Any other option would have taken days longer. Also the steps were do easy to follow that I'm confident my folks who were born in the 1940's could have successfully accomplished the same goals.
