If you want to validate any military experience, this is the site. It's so useful, even the VA "upgrades" your account if you associate it through eBenefits. I've had ID.me for over 12 years and it's always provided a fast and safe way to verify my identity, either through VFW, VA, or hundreds of online retailers that offer military discounts.
