I've been in the process to gain access to my SSA since 2020, and as you know, every SSA office was either closed or unavailable, then they opened to ID.me to allow login. After 3 hours of frustrations, we FINALLY reached a person, and are able to use ID.me now!

I recently established a new E account with ID.me so I could view my tax status as needed. The process was relatively easy and did not take long at all. Only suggestion I would make is to allow an area where questions can be posted for someone to address separately if additional information is required.
