The rebate system is easy to use. The offers are on every day items from new and old companies. Every time I have needed customer support it has been fast and excellent.

I purchased 5 items that had a rebate expiring in 1 day. A couple of hours after purchasing I submitted my receipt and it said there were no offers. I looked under my list for the item, and it was completely gone! I was shocked. I contacted Ibotta to find out what happened to the rebate. They Informed me that any rebate could be stopped at any time. They were gracious enough to award me for $10 I would have gotten from the rebates. Thank you so much. It is much appreciated.
I don't buy most of the products Ibotta offers so it was really tedious to accumulate the minimum cash out amount. When I tried to cash out it failed to pay anything. I had a lot going on at the time and stopped using the app. When prompted by an email months later that my account was being charged the $3.99, I had forgotten what happened and went on to collect some more points. Now, for the second time, Ibotta will not cash me out. Below is a screen shot of their shenanigans. All information was already entered, verified and accepted... Except when I checkout! I am changing the passwords to accounts I have connected to it in any way. (Paypal, email)

I did 3 shopping trips for grocery pick up and delivery 2 were together and 1 was separate I did what I was supposed to do
I added the offers for grocery pick up and delivery when online added them to my Walmart shopping trip I checked out paid for my orders and went and picked them up
The orders didn't give my cash back 2 ORDERS so I waited and nothing so I did another order hoping to get the money the same day nope my orders was for
July 24th picked up the 24 no credit

It is now August 1st and I barely got some of the money
Now there telling me I can't get credit for some of the items I bought and paid for through the app
The reason because I already bought these items from the first 2 orders
This shouldn't be related on to me making me lose cash back this should be your problem
The app didn't process the first 2 orders and still allowed those products to show as items I could still get money back on for another shopping trip
And why is there expired items still on display for people to purchase and get money back on and then days later to be told it's expired
And I had to write in over 7-8 times to get help

I purchased the watermelon in Walmart. The only watermelon they had and I did not get the dollar back. It said it did not qualify. That's a times you tell me that items are available and they're not. No identification where this watermelon was grown

The app that really does give you cash back! I've earned just under $60.00 by shopping at just one of the many stores they have on the app. You can shop in store or online, even grocery pickup and delivery and get cash back on items you buy while shopping. You can submit your receipt manually or link your payment method to Ibotta and it submits your receipt automatically. I have had an issue with the barcode scanner in the app (which could be an issue with my phone) but either way, Ibotta customer service took care of everything very quickly. Their customer service department contact info is easy to find, it's easy to reach someone and they respond right away!
I have experienced several occasions recently where I've purchased items that are eligible for cash back according to what is written in the description but cash is not given. When I follow up I'm told it's not eligible or there's a problem with the receipt. Seems a bit misleading.
I heard about this app and was thrilled, but now I'm seeing there's a lot of packaged processed food options, no fresh healthy foods. (Boxed is not healthy) just thought there would be more of a variety on here.

Ibotta has been wonderful to be Partnered with. There have been a few bumps in the last Eight years sure, but the Customer Service has been Outstanding :) My extended family is over 50 individuals. I convinced half of them to sign up.
As of May 27,2023 I have made over $3,000 in Rebates. Not bad for buying groceries I would have bought anyway. My rebates have mostly come from Walmart, just imagine if I really shopped :)
I love this app so much. I use it every month I go shopping ( I usually shop once or twice a month) and it has saved me so much. I mean I'm in the $500 club and it's only been like 4 months since I've started using ibotta. So that should tell ya something. Thanks ibotta team for doing all you can to help my family save as much as we can in this time of crisis.
I am STILL missing the Excedrin rebate where I purchased 2@ $1.50 each for a total of $3.00.
I requested Ibotta to review my receipt for a missing cash. They promptly checked my claim and replied that there was a limit on my item in question. This was something I had overlooked and not a mistake made by Ibotta. The Ibotta team has always been great at handling my questions.
The Ibotta app is easy to use (just check what you plan to buy and scan a receipt!). It's great to get money back on items I'm already buying! It's easy to redeem for gift cards or paypal. Customer Service has always been responsive if a rebate did not go through. Highly recommend!
Overall, I find I do not purchase the products available for rebate. Initially there were more "any" products. Also there are other apps that simply scan your receipt and credit you for qualifying purchases. Having to scroll through so many products only to find I didn't purchase anything eligible is time consuming and annoying. Also, reducing my unclaimed credits following the pandemic only further soured my taste. I'll keep using, but not expecting much.

I was not given money back for items that I clipped on Ibotta. Very frustrating to buy & them not to honor their coupon.
Great way to get cash rewards on items that you are already going to buy!. If you are connected, to say Walmart, and don't pre-select an item that you purchase, the app will detect and notify you that you made a purchase that qualifies to receive cash for that purchase and you can submit/acknowledge that you made the purchase and they review your info and place cash on your account. Great App!
Every receipt I submit is always missing something. I have to contact customer service multiple times to get the missing funds. If you have a bonus, you don't get it because they say they can't add it

There are a few things about ibotta that drive me crazy, like the fact that if you don't have the item saved but it's on your scanned receipt they won't say hey look what you missed! Or the fact that getting my Walmart account to sync was quite a task. Other than that I Truly love the app the savings are worth the effort more often than not.
I used to love Ibotta before they partnered with Walmart. Now, it's not worth my trouble. I liked being able to save up my rewards and then cash them out and use them for things I wanted or sometimes for gift cards. Now it's taken me well over a year to reach $5. When I eventually have enough to cash out I will delete the app and be done with Ibotta. There are much easier and better apps out there now.

Answer: Absolutely so true! I earned up just over $100 and when I went to cash out they said I was fraudulent YET I HAVE EVERY RECEIPT and all submissions were valid. It took me months to get to this amount. Hmmmmm Class action anyone?

Answer: I tried to withdraw money for the first time and it said my account was locked because of multiple attempts which was not true.! I sent 5 requests for help in a week and they finally responded by deactivating my account and keeping the 360.00 that took me months to accumulate. They claim I tampered with a date on a receipt and I just crossed off the account number. So they can keep my money that is mine. How can I get my money back?
Answer: Sorry Jenna bit it seems like you're kinda late for that rebate a few years actually. I'm pretty sure that ibotta have 100% absolutely forgot about you and by not I'm sure you forgot about too. :)
Answer: Go to your $amount and cash out and it will say bank or gift card.
Answer: Why don't any product receipts add extra bonus for us?
Answer: You have to email the morons that run their customer support at least 3 times before you'll get the proper amount credited to your account.
