Most of the time no credit is given for the products purchased. It's frustrating to submit the appropriate bar codes and still not receive the proper credit.
I do like using Ibotta, because saving money where we can is important to me. Ibotta pretty inconsistently applies clipped rebates for me though. There seems to always be items missing / no rebate applied. I used to take the time to reach out to ask for help with getting them applied, kept my receipts, but I just don't even bother anymore. I have my phone number & Hannaford account linked so that Ibotta is supposed to automatically know what I purchased, but maybe the old way of receipts and clicking yourself what you bought and what you expect a rebate for is a better method?
My account had a multiple attempted access by hackers. Ibotta security detected this and promptly deactivated my account. The hackers were not able to get at my account balance!

I really enjoy searching this app before I go shopping. Whether its in store or online. To make sure not to miss a great deal. I never doubted this app to be true. But is has shown me its more true than the rating I thought of it. It has all your favorite shopping stores and great cash back offers. Some of the products are free. So when you add them to your list and purchase them, scan your receipt, the money goes right back in. And they always provide me my dollar back on any purchase coupon back. Thank you so much ibotta! I didn't realize an offer was expiring and missed the chance to get $15 back. When I emailed the customer service team, they got back to me very quickly and also gave me the offer! Definitely recommend using Ibotta!

Honestly I do love this app, at first it can be a little hard to reach the $20 minimum to be able to cash out, but it gets so much easier. It helps a lot with linking any and all of your shopping account like Walmart, Amazon, etc. So that way you don't have to worry about submitting your receipts on time. This app is good for people who can be a little patient and not expect money right away.
The customer service is always responsive and take their time to resolve my issues…. Always! Would recommend them.
Frustrating that I have to spend so much time taking pictures of my receipts and a message comes back can't read receipt. Really tired oif it, problem has to be on your end. Fix please

I scanned my receipt last night and it showed I earned $2.40 on my purchases. One for Raisin Bran Cereal, 2 Kodiak Pancake Mixes and an any receipt. This morning I had an email showing I earned.30 cents for the Raisin Bran. Just wondering what happened to the rest of my earnings. Ibotta sure isn't what it used to be when I started. Starting to have some real concerns.
Today was the best return and response time ever. First time I submitted request, got a quick response, and get the cash back that i was missing. This within minutes of posting. I did take my picture with my request. Explained the issue. Ibotta team get me my cash back. Totally shocked. Past experiences was terrible but now. Much better.Keep up the great customer care.
I've been using Ibotta for 4 years now…I've even made it to the $1000 club, but listen…there is a few times where I did not get my earnings and I specifically bought things that I would not usually buy just to get those earnings…when reaching out to customer support it's no help at all. So at some point I just fall back because I start to feel played. I started back recently and even recommended the app to friends and family but I will not continue if I don't receive earnings from huge shopping trips. Oh and it's usually with food lion receipts. Walmart is usually the safest place because you can scan the bottom of the receipt, so they can't make any excuses.
I'm genuinely confused by the 1 star reviews. I've only been using the app for a month, so maybe they'll disappoint, but so far it's been great. I pick the good deals, and I've made $58 back on about $126 of purchases. It took a minute to scan my last one but ultimately worked. I've been able to withdraw all my money to my bank with no problem yet. I would suggest to anyone, just withdraw as soon as you reach the $20 threshold. I've used several other apps and this one to me has been the easiest and best for the amount of cash back you get.
Ibotta was a miracle in these trying times...until I reached the 1500 club. That's when I receive a message saying something doesn't look quite right. I've now been locked from my withdrawals and am receiving zero help or communication from support.
The rebate system is easy to use. The offers are on every day items from new and old companies. Every time I have needed customer support it has been fast and excellent.

I purchased 5 items that had a rebate expiring in 1 day. A couple of hours after purchasing I submitted my receipt and it said there were no offers. I looked under my list for the item, and it was completely gone! I was shocked. I contacted Ibotta to find out what happened to the rebate. They Informed me that any rebate could be stopped at any time. They were gracious enough to award me for $10 I would have gotten from the rebates. Thank you so much. It is much appreciated.
Answer: Absolutely so true! I earned up just over $100 and when I went to cash out they said I was fraudulent YET I HAVE EVERY RECEIPT and all submissions were valid. It took me months to get to this amount. Hmmmmm Class action anyone?

Answer: I tried to withdraw money for the first time and it said my account was locked because of multiple attempts which was not true.! I sent 5 requests for help in a week and they finally responded by deactivating my account and keeping the 360.00 that took me months to accumulate. They claim I tampered with a date on a receipt and I just crossed off the account number. So they can keep my money that is mine. How can I get my money back?
