Almost every time I submit a receipt, I am told some item does not match my receipt. Grocery stores abbreviate items in different ways and I understand it may be hard to match them. So I usually need to contact Customer Service twice, indicating where on the receipt the item in question is. It's time consuming and annoying.
I am writing to share my observations and recommendations regarding the use of Ibotta. While I appreciate the cashback offers, I have consistently encountered a limitation that hinders my ability to maximize my savings.
Currently, the advertisements displayed on the Ibotta app often features products and categories that I have no interest in or do not purchase. As a result, I miss out on valuable cash back opportunities.
To address this issue, I propose the implementation of an algorithm that analyze each consumer's purchasing history based on the recipts they scan. By tailoring the advertisements to products that consumers are actually buying, I believe Ibotta could significantly enhance the user experience and encourage greater cash back utilization.
This personalization would not only improve the relevance of the offered cash back opportunities but also increase the likelihood of consumers making purchases to redeem them. Additionally, it could foster a sense of trust and value between Ibotta and it's users.
I strongly believe that by implementing this algorithm, Ibotta can unlock its full potential and attract more consumers eager to maximize their savings. I am confident that this improvement would ultimately lead to increased user engagement, customer satisfaction, and revenue for Ibotta.

I just have to say I am so glad I no longer have to scan each individual item to get cash back anymore, it was such a pain! Thank you for removing that stipulation, as I would not scan my receipts for a couple of days and by then, the item may have already been used and thrown away. Also, cash back was quick. :) Thank you!
Even though the rebate states it can be used up to several times on separate receipts, that is not true. After writing them about missing rebates I was informed they can be used once, then you need to wait for another offer to appear.

The store I went to had printer issues and I wasn't able to get an actual receipt. They had to screenshot it and print it out. I emailed Ibotta and they helped collect the offers I was shopping for. Customer service was quick and helpful!
I acrue money every week on products I buy anyway. I enjoy trying new products also, with a discount, it's an incentive. If I find I'm missing money from a rebate through Ibotta, they are quick to gather all of my info and give me the rebate. Thanks Ibotta for saving me money!

Your Any Bar offer as usual is screwed up. Every time, and I mean every time I enter a receipt for 2 drinks each item you credit me for one! Every time! Then I have jump thru hoops to get you to do it right! Why is that!?!?
The issue was was solved as always. The question is; why did I have to go through this every single time I do it?
I have been with Ibotta for years now. It works and is worth it. Just need to continuously use it and pay attention to the bonuses. If there are any issues they are quickly and professionally reconciled. I have suggested it to family and friends.
I love using this app and saving money on products I use every day and also to try new products. Easy to use and great savings. I prefer this over other apps because you actually get money back instead of points. It makes it easy to understand your savings.
I love, love, love Ibotta! Have had lots of great deals and got to try new (or products I normally wouldn't purchase) for free or low cost. The support team has been excellent in helping solve any issues but rarely have any issues especially when compared to other rebate apps. Highly recommend Ibotta for those who want to save money on grocery and household goods.
My experience with Ibotta has been wonderful! I have saved tons of money and been able to try new items that I would not have purchased if it wasn't on Ibotta. Someone hacked into my account a few years ago and Ibotta addressed this issue immediately. Ibotta is the best savings app available.
It was a big thrill the first time I withdrew something. There were some great offers during the holidays, but they are few and far between now. I buy more generic products due to the overall difference in prices.
Mixed feelings so far. Produce may not get cash back even when offered since the UPC Code does not show on the receipt. (Only the lookup code.)
They have the best range of rebate offers. The turn around is usually very fast.
And in the few instances something goes awry, their customer support is second to none of any of the rebate apps out there.
I recommend it whole heartedly!
I am a mother to 5 and always tried to be fair to all of my children. I think it's an important quality and I appreciate that about ibotta. I have recently reached out due to not getting something that was owed to me and they fixed it. I really love ibotta and use it nearly everyday even if it's something small. Thank you for being honest and fair!
I had an issue with missing rebates, after two tickets it got resolved. I am pleased customer service went back and reviewed the receipt and issued all my rebates. They also followed up to make sure I was satisfied. It's great that customer service doesn't let technical issues fall by the wayside.
Answer: Absolutely so true! I earned up just over $100 and when I went to cash out they said I was fraudulent YET I HAVE EVERY RECEIPT and all submissions were valid. It took me months to get to this amount. Hmmmmm Class action anyone?
Answer: Because they deny certain purchases due to cost! It's become a scam!
Answer: I tried to withdraw money for the first time and it said my account was locked because of multiple attempts which was not true.! I sent 5 requests for help in a week and they finally responded by deactivating my account and keeping the 360.00 that took me months to accumulate. They claim I tampered with a date on a receipt and I just crossed off the account number. So they can keep my money that is mine. How can I get my money back?

Answer: You have to email the morons that run their customer support at least 3 times before you'll get the proper amount credited to your account.
