I choose the items I am going to buy, making sure I have selected them in the app. I go to the store and buy the items. I use the app to take pictures of my receipt and I submit. Easy, nope! Despite the items being on the receipt, not all of my selections are called "eligible." I question the ineligible items, even scanning the UPCs as requested. Sometimes they are accepted, sometimes they are not. I then have to submit the receipt to Ibotta Care for consideration. They sometimes correct the errors originally made by the app, but they sometimes make me jump through the same hoops again. In my past use of Ibotta, it worked smoothly; nowadays it's almost always a hassle. Is that your plan? It seems to be.
I love the money back from Ibotta. It takes just a few minutes to scroll the offers and if you have your card attached to the store the money is automatically put into the Ibotta account. Very easy to use
I have learned to watch the amount and size requirements. Often these are items that I buy often.
I scanned the items and the store and it said the items qualified for cashback. Well I didnt get the cashback. Now I am waiting for customer service to get back to me

Rebates issued within minutes most of the time! I have been waiting 10 days for rebates from another unnamed site. If there is an issue, it is usually resolved in a short amount of time! Money transferred easily and quickly to PayPal…
Overall I've found it easy to locate offers for a few items that I'd planned on buying anyways. Add to that seeing items I didn't know about but decided to try and it's a quick easy way to get money back every shopping order.
I don't have many positive things to write. This app is difficult to use. Most of the items are for jot commonly used products. Not only that but the "Any Items" are fir pitiful amounts of money...not really worth the effort! Last but not least I HATE tying my debit card to my Walmart purchases as it never works!
I love the app but I would like to see more variety in the any item category as I tend to purchase store brand products frequently. Even with your cash back offers sometimes it's still cheaper to buy store brands.

I had to reset my phone several months ago, and was no longer able to access my Ibotta account. In the process of trying to recover it, l accidentally created several additional accounts, which violates the rules, so l was deactivated. Ibotta administrators were very kind and helpful in deleting the extra accounts, and reactivating the original, with no loss of the cash that was there. I am very grateful for their time and help!
Ibotta has very sneaky small print rules... Should you forget to use the app for a short period of time, they secretly deduct $3.99 from your account on an ongoing basis... which is linked to your bank account and without any notice.
Been using this app for a month now, great cash back offers, easy to use, user friendly, and good selection of items and stores.
In the middle of one of the big bonuses Ibotta "updated" the app. So now when I submit my receipt I have to scan the item then submit but if I am missing an item or a scan I have to start all over. Don't know if it's just the one store or if it's changed for all stores
Ibotta makes it easy to save money on things you're already buying. If there's ever an issue, their customer service handles issues quickly and kindly. I highly recommend this app!
The app clearly states "max" quantity- most items were purchased missing the quantity- groups of five the missing quantities include- silk, orange juice, coffee drinks, Rana meals which through the app online states how many purchased. While some had Walmart cash back-it only included a quantity of "1" thus missing out on the other 4 and the quantity is not reflected through the bonus which was well above the "63" items for the promotion if someone can look into this would be greatly appreciated

There have been times when I thought ibotta cash should have been forthcoming only to discover I had made an error and other times there had been small glitches in the system. Regardless, once I reached out, the ibotta team did their best to bring about a positive resolution. Good customer service is always a great experience.
Answer: Absolutely so true! I earned up just over $100 and when I went to cash out they said I was fraudulent YET I HAVE EVERY RECEIPT and all submissions were valid. It took me months to get to this amount. Hmmmmm Class action anyone?

Answer: I tried to withdraw money for the first time and it said my account was locked because of multiple attempts which was not true.! I sent 5 requests for help in a week and they finally responded by deactivating my account and keeping the 360.00 that took me months to accumulate. They claim I tampered with a date on a receipt and I just crossed off the account number. So they can keep my money that is mine. How can I get my money back?

Answer: You have to email the morons that run their customer support at least 3 times before you'll get the proper amount credited to your account.
