Waited two months for an order and when it arrived damaged they were no help. No one answers the customer service phone and emails are not returned. Scammers for sure! Contacted the better business bureau and hoping CC company helps get my money back. Buyer beware.

Furniture was delivered damaged approximately a month ago. Raised a support ticket and sent them the pictures. Now they will not take my phone calls or return my emails. I'm having to get a lawyer or go to consumer court. I'm so exhausted with this company. Awful experience and the reviews are filtered!

All of the furniture was delivered damaged and they originally agreed to replace everything. Now they will not take my phone calls or return my emails. I'm having to get a lawyer, I'm so exhausted with this company. Awful experience and the reviews are filtered!

This is so awful, this we need to report this company to our Attorney General's office, consumer protection office and better business bureau. It just cements my thoughts that just because a company has a beautiful website doesn't mean they are legitimate. I am lucky they didn't deliver my bed, or charge my account. Wow.

Nightmare customer service. We ordered two beautiful nightstands. Arrived 3 weeks later. Both had identical paint missing from the front, factory defect. Despite following HumbleAbode's shipping receipt instructions, we were told "there is nothing we can do about this unfortunate circumstance." No replacement or refund offered.

Terrible Service
October 22, 2018

I had a terrible experience with this company. I ordered a head and footboard and received it in horrible condition. The damage was so bad that it wasn't even possible to assemble it. When trying to send the item back the company refused to replace the product or reimburse me my money. In their guarantee they state that they are, "Enthusiastically dedicated to your complete satisfaction." Sadly this was far from my experience. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Terrible
January 30, 2017

Ordered and purchased a bed 2 months ago we weren't getting it until today and just got word from the carriers that all of the bed is not in. I called the costumer service lady to see what was going on and she was so rude to me. I went to this site for a bed because joss and main didn't have my bed in stock and this place did. I will never order from humble abode ever again! Terrible terrible terrible

Regret ever making a purchase thru them... terrible customer service experience. They insisted the damaged product was the fault of shipping, but it was clearly a manufacturing issue.

I ordered a Wesley Allen iron bed from this company 4 months ago. The bed took months to arrive and when it was finally delivered, it was damaged... looked as though someone had dropped the headboard and the beautiful iron work was gouged in several places. We took tons of photos with the delivery truck and men in the photos, sent them to Humble Abode and after a long process they said they'd get Wesley Allen to send a replacement headboard. We have heard nothing from Humble Abode for an additional 2 months now and still no replacement headboard for what is an heirloom quality bed that has a damaged headboard! Today, the website appears to be nonexistent and no one is answering the phones! We are just beside ourselves! This company is clearly not on the up and up. I think we've been scammed! We have two other gorgeous Wesley Allen Iron beds that were purchased from our local furniture store and so regret not having gone back to the local reputable dealers. Was trying to save a little money by going with this company, but the ensuing headaches have made this purchase a disaster! Will have to now try to figure out what we are going to do. Left with a damaged, expensive iron bed and just sick about it! Buyer beware, but it doesn't even look as though it's possible to reach this "business" anymore anyway! Sooo sickened and discouraged by this whole ordeal! I don't normally write reviews, but in this case I felt compelled to do so!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Facts:
1- I spent $1400 approximately with this company on their website, They charged my card the following day with no delivery of my order after two weeks.

2- The delivery company they hired refused to deliver my order because they were not able to provide certificate insurance to deliver to my building as I live in a high rise in New York City.

3- Upon contacting the company and asking for a speedy delivery or a refund, I first received a lecture on the phone and an email informing me that my refund would be reduced to $300 approximately even though they are the ones, who can not deliver my order.

4- When complained, I further received a threatening email stating that they would sue me for defamation.

5- In addition, unless I accept delivery on the curbside even though their website clearly states, unlike their competition, they do not deliver curbside OR I pay to go and pick up from their location myself, they would charge me $1000 and give me a refund only for $300 approximately.

If this is the kind of experience you would like to have, give them business.
