I've had Hulu a few months now and at the beginning i loved it. But then thing after thing started annoying me, and i don't mean the commercials i don't mind those. First why would you put a show on their that you cannot watch? They shouldn't have things that just send you to a site that wont let you watch. Also why have so many different movie trailers and like no Movies, and i'm talking about older ones not ones that just came out this year, if we just wanted to watch the trailer theirs always Youtube. And then last the reason i decided to write this review today was me and my son have been watching the voice, He's a year and a half so obviously we don't on my laptop we do on my ps3. Well today's episode will not show up and the ps3 it says it can every time i look online and their is no helpful info to show me how to watch it and if they just decided to not let you watch one on the ps3 its BS.

So. Many. Ads!

Hulu raised their prices quite a bit so I downgraded to the ads version. Now there are SO MANY ADS. Ad break at the beginning of an episode then yet another ad break after the last week's episode recap. Two ad breaks before the episode has even started, ridiculous!

I can't believe this is free. Huku is a great website to catch up on tv shows you missed, discover new tv shows, and basically kill lot of time if you get bored. I use it most when I am travelling, and can't find anything to watch on the hotel tv. Video quality is great as well.

I find Hulu Premium unacceptable. The fact that you have to pay for it and still watch adds is quite disturbing. I do not like the fact that you have to watch adds in the free version, but I can understand that. I will not purchase Hulu Premium unless they eliminate the adds.

Better than Netflix

I will just say as a past Hulu customer, that I enjoyed Hulu much better than Netflix. Everyone has their favorites, it was just more satisfying to me because of the pre-recorded programs from the day before, and they had added the opportunity to add HBO or Showtime. I would have enjoyed it more if they would have had more shows from different channels.

Too much loading
July 9, 2018

I am writing this review while i wait for a TV show on Hulu to load. It is slow has many ads and is a pain to watch. I got it so that i could watch the world cup and its costing me 40 dollars a month. I will admit that it has a great variety of shows that i want to watch, but it is hard to watch when it stops every two minutes.

Dear Mr. Hulu
Where do you get off? Charging me all this money to stream television and I still gotta watch commercials. 3 minutes of television, followed by 3 minutes of commercials. I got away from cable television so that I would NOT be subjected to crummy commercials. What am I paying you for? Television. Not commercials. I am unhappy and am cancelling. I will use my $60-something a month to start a business making birdhouses out of gourds for underprivileged children, because that way I WONT HAVE TO WATCH COMMERCIALS! I hate birdhouses with a passion. But do you know what I hate more? You guessed it... commercials.

At least once a month no connection. It's always the wireless provider, the TV or the phone. Most of the "tech support" hard to understand. One suggested just watch hulu via my phone. Just awful service. Always ready to upsell you though. Truly a Mickey Mouse operation. My suggestion...find a different stream service. Hulu a complete waste of money.

I had occasion to call Customer Service for help with streaming issues. The young man I spoke with (Michael, I think) was extremely helpful. He spent a lot of time helping me resolve the problem. And resolve it he did! I am very appreciative of his time and consideration. I am a very satisfied customer!

This site rocked when it was 100% free until they added hulu plus which made hardly anything free... now it is OK as they have some shows free but it was much better when everything was completely free though.

One star only because it exists! It's terrible, I can always make all my other apps work with the same internet connection, but not Hulu. They have good programming but they do not care about their customers, AT ALL! There is no one to talk to about customer complaints, they don't care. They don't care about the product they are putting out, just the $$ they are taking in! The commercials are ridiculous and relentless! They are turned up in volume and when the program buffers and fails it takes you straight back to commercials! Over and over! It will play the commercials over and over but fails just as the programming starts! Horrible! They could fix this as don't. I have 4 other apps and Hulu is the only one I struggle with!

I keep getting ads on my Hulu feed, for add-ons such as HBO or Hulu Live. I spend hours trying to get them to work, I spend hours waiting to get through to support. After months of being charged for service I never got, I find put those service are not compatible with my Roku device. Hulu's reponse? A $12 credit. For so many wasted hours. When I asked them not to send me ads I could not use, they said they had no way of knowing what would work for me. Yet my device is registered with them. So they do know what device I use. Very unhappy with the several hours it takes to get through to support. And unhappy with the support people who do not know about the compatibility issues.

I signed up for Spotify which offered Hulu add on demand for free as a perk. Upgraded to Hulu live. Terrible service. Lips and speech always off sync. Canceled Hulu Live. Asked to be returned to Hulu perk as part of my Spotify. They refused saying when I upgraded to Hulu Live I forever lost my Spotify perk! How unfair and stupid from a business model I'd that! Avoid Hulu on demand or live at all costs!

I purchased the " live +no ads plan" and tried to watch the Hunger Games. Guess what?! Every 15 minutes there is an ad! Wtf? I don't care if it's some weird network. If I'm paying you for " no ads". It should be NO ADS! It's wasn't a live stream or a "premium network". These people are a joke. Consumers: it's us and them. They manipulate the system to make money. This world is coming down to us paying for the streaming. If you log on to hulu and pay for no add. You should get " NO ADS"!. Period. They control what you see so if they have ads on ANY network or live stream then they should sell it as "with ads".

Hello all, I hate hulu with a burning passion. My reasoning? I paid every month for about a year and out of that year my hulu probably work 7 of those 12 months. I finally canceled when I couldn't even open the app on my tv anymore and when I called customer service (multiple times) they would do something through my computer or tv and it never fixed any of the problems. Currently my father is paying for a family account and whenever I try to use to use it, I get logged in, I get to the "Who's Watching" page and when I try to click on anyone is doesn't go anywhere, I can't create a new profile, but that doesn't help, and when I refresh it logs me back out! Stupid streaming service with far too many bugs to be worth having.

COMMERICAL EVERY REWIND

We just got hulu and I was watching dancing with the stars. After all dances I rewound to see who I should vote for but I had to watch a 2 min commercial to watch all the dances that I had just watched. Why would you put commercials every time I rewind 20 seconds? Horrible. I watched another 10 min of commercials to see the 5 min of dancing I was trying to watch

App is GARBAGE

The "choose your own" ads come in at top volume, 10x louder than the programming, and they ALWAYS freeze the app, especially the Jameson ads. In Googling the issue, I found a Reddit thread from over 100 days ago full of people with the SAME issue with a Jameson ad. Hulu was supposedly aware of it and fixing it but it obviously hasn't happened. There's a Carnival cruise ad and Apple Pay ad that do the same. The app also constantly boots me out, 4-6 times per hour, it's impossible to get through one episode of a tv show. I can't find a good way to give them direct feedback but I'm sure they don't care. And it's not, as they suggest, my internet speed or connection. I've tried clearing the cache and data and it helped briefly.

Hulu sucks!

I have Netflix, YouTube TV. AMC+. HBO Max. None of them have streaming issues. My download speed is 740 Mb/s. I tried everything Hulu recommended. None of them solved my problem. The problem is not on my end.

This new update (5-10-17) is somehow more useless and broken than before. This is the end of my hulu subscription. I can't find my shows through the techno color gradient bull$#*!. It looks like a teenager spiled that stupid colored powder on the screen. This powder also $#*!ed up any and all user freindly options and now tells you what you going to watch... tv would be better at this point. You $#*!ed yourselves hulu, and in doing so you $#*!ed me too. So $#*! you hulu. Amazon prime and netflix?!?!?! $#*!ers

Political pushing

I watch hulu all the time and I'm now going to cancel because of their left wing political pushing. If I wanted to see ads for Biden I would watch CNN. I pay for this service and I don't want to see political crap shoved down our throats. I don't care who they vote for and I'll be damned if I want to hear them push who I should vote for.
