A purely fraudulent scheme, the operator guy ask you one thing and then they us MIT transactions ( most probably TRA exceptions) to debit your card with an amount x50 the initial cost of the service
Simply outrageous and unprofessional a typical Fraud.
Afterwards the billing dept comes with an AI email, you will be refund 70% in 5 business days..

Absolutely rubbish

Scammed into signing up for £39/ month said it was only for £1. Which would be refundable fortunately the bank stopped it but the. Had to cancel my card. What an inconvenience thank goodness

I was being passed from pller to post to get my Paramountplus app working then i got put onto Dannis k at Howly. He took the time and patience to get me sorted as is no mean feat as i have Parkinsons and type very slow. Dannis put me at ease and stayed with me till things got sorted. Many many thanks

Update: After weeks of being lied to by them about scamming me, they pretended to refund my money. They did not, they simply charged me again. This company is a complete and total scam, I wish SiteJabber had been better about allowing fake good reviews on their site, but they were scammed by Howly also. Howly does not provide any service and they basically steal money from unsuspecting people. It was a nightmare to get the charge reversed the first time, but after they illegally charged my account again I have not had the time to go through that nightmare of getting any human from Howly able to help. WARNING - do NOT use Howly and beware of good sitejabber reviews.

I was transferred to Howly from Uber for a "more thorough answer to my question" and ended up being charged for a subscription that I never heard of, authorized, or wanted. Paypal contacted them but they respond to every complaint this way (paraphrased): We tell all customers up front about the fees that are non-refundable. That is a complete lie.

I had gotten hold of them because I have locked myself out of my phone so in order to get on the website to even ask the question you have to put in a credit card, and told that I was only be a dollar and that my credit card would not be charged well they hooked me up with somebody. I asked the question, about 4 or 5 minutes later I got a response, and the response was unsatisfactory so I asked again something else along the same lines and another four or five minutes later I got a response so I finally said okay I can see that I'm not going to get the answer that I'm looking for and this is going to cost me too much money so I ended the chat only to find out today that I was charged $55 for maybe 10 minutes and after calling them and the gentleman on the other end told me that my refund will be processed within the next 24 hours and all I get is the email saying that subscriptions is not refundable I didn't sign up for any damn subscription for one thing this is ridiculous uncalled for and very unprofessional
