A couple of times I have been speaking to the customer services dept and was unknowingly put through to Howly and suddenly found money taken out of my bank account. I asked Howly to remove all my details which they clearly have not done! Tell them to delete any details they have of mine. Also please remove any details you have of mine.
I found charges for Howly and said please cancel and refund my money. This was done and the next month it was there again. I again called and said I wasn't canceled and again charged. They said they would cancel again but only give me a partial refund of the $34 charge - $19. I don't even know what service this company offers but I hope I am done with it.

Howly appeared as a result of a Google Search for help with an Apple iPhone. They did not identify themselves as not being a part of Apple and offered to help for $1 which was refundable, if not satisfied. They did not say that by accepting the $1 offer you are automatically subscribing to their monthly service. When my CC bill arrived I found a $38 charge from them. When I protested, they discontinued the 'service', but refused to refund the $38 already charged.
I disputed it with the Credit Card company, but Howly is still not giving the refund. BUYER BEWARE. THEY ARE CROOKS.

I was in contact with them for about 5 mins. And they charged me £26 They did not tell me I was taking out a contract all i wanted was some advice I expected to get back £25 but I have had no answer from them so I certainly would not recommend them to anyone

I spent two weeks in a nightmare of extremely poor connectivity. I tried reaching out to technicians with no resolution. Went through about 15 different techies. Then suddenly I was somehow switched over to Howly. That advisor seemed better, but I had to leave consult. The next day I tried to get back to the site, but noted there was a discrepancy on the charge. One for the $1. The other for $47! I am furious! I am disputing it. Oh, and BTW, the issue was still not solved! What a bummer!
