Truly awful
April 17, 2018

My daughter bought an outfit that was supposedly on sale but still cost £45. She is a student with not much money. It took longer than expected to arrive and she had already attended the event she wanted to wear it for. She contacted the company for details on how to return it only to be told that sale items cannot be returned. Despite several emails they will not accept that they are breaking the law and that she has the right to return it within 30 days. She has decided not to return it as she feels she will never see the outfit or the money again. These people are fraudsters. How are they still in business? Do not buy from these crooks! Unfortunately the rating will not allow zero stars otherwise that is what I would give them.

Wrong dress received

I spent $175 on a dress and we received the wrong order. There was no return label no customer service number. No one responds to emails. This company is awful AVOID at all costs. I have sent numerous emails and no one responds.

I ordered from this site but returned an item in perfect condition but they are saying it is damaged and they can't issue me a refund! They are lying so that they can keep my money. I will place 500 complaints if I have to. The customer service is terrible and they didn't even offer me credit! Never again will I order from them!

Amazing!

I just received my dress today and I am so happy. It came in a nice package and it fits me perfect! It's whatever l was looking for a nice dress to wear for the formal night of my cruise this winter. I can't be happier. The quality is amazing! I am very picky person and I don't like to write reviews but I am very satisfied with the service so I hope this can be helpful to you. I would suggest don't remove the tags before any exchange.

Ordered a dress for my step fathers funeral and it arrived with a hole in the armpit. Customers service was awful, no contact number, only let's you contact them by email. Their response was send it back so we can assess the item and when I informed them this would leave me without a dress for the funeral their response was "it's out policy". I told them that I'll have to stitch the hole for the funeral and then send it to them to which the replied "if repaired or worn we can not offer you a refund or replacement". Just charming

So obsessed with 90's Dreamer/Garden Collections! I'm a size U.S. 2/UK 6 & I have found the most flattering fit with this brand! The dresses accentuate my petite curves & the texture of the fabrics feel so expensive! House of CB is my ultimate go to for formal events or anytime I want to feel extra feminine & beautiful!

Trip planes so I made two separate orders with next day shipping. I am now back from my trip and the parcels have still not arrived. It has been two weeks. Normally I have complete faith in Uk shipping so This is definitely the brands lack of professionalism. Also on previous orders I was swimming in a size small. All other UK brands I wear a medium and dress size 10. I am 5'7 with curves.

I ordered an item from House of CB on the 9th August, 2023 which was in the sale (and it did state that sales items could only be returned for store-credit and not a refund). When the skirt arrived, it had a lot of thread caught and stitched around the zipper which prevents the zip from being able to be fully pulled down and used, and therefore the skirt was faulty as the zip did not work as it should have. For this reason, I contacted House of CBs customer service team and they asked me to send it to them for inspection.

They then contacted me to say that there were no faults and only issued store credit. I have since contacted them re-pointing out all of the incorrect stitching which stops the zipper being able to be pulled down as far as it should be able to go (therefore making the opening to the skirt smaller, and therefore I can't get it on).

They then still denied that anything was faulty with the product and said "the stopper in your picture is part of the design, not a fault in this case", which is incorrect as it is clearly a sewing machine error that has got around the zipper somehow.

The product is 100% faulty and the customer service team have been extremely unhelpful and dishonest. In the photograph I shared with them, including an arrow to the issue I wanted to point out, they referred to the complete wrong part of the item and photo.

If you plan on purchasing from their site be sure to know your size before purchasing... I purchased a dress and returned it back because it did not fit... They are holding my money has a credit! Their dresses do not fit me correctly & now I have a $120 credit to a store that I NEVER plan on purchasing from again. They will not refund my money due to their "STRICT Return Policy". Their customer service is like robots... they say the same thing over & over and are unwilling to help you. I will never purchase from this store again.

After purchasing a gift for my daughter from house of CB I had to return the trousers as too small and asked for an exchange to larger size. When she tried them on they did not go over her hips therefore it able to wear properly. After return I received an email saying item had been worn and was dirty therefore not able to change. Despite numerous explanations they continue to tell me item worn and I continue to say did not go passed hips. Disappointed and treated like it's not relevant At a cost of £79 I feel robbed and cheated DONT BUY unless you want to lose your money. Had to rate one star as not able to rate zero however is a zero

Horrible.

I just want to cry. Ordered a lace dress. Look NOTHING like the model. I had alterations take a look at it because the back of the dress sizing is bulky and stupid. She's like it's nothing I can do to fix this. It's almost as if they did not measure the dress to fit correctly. I have not removed tags but item was on sale. I just want my money back. So much for a graduation dress. I'm mad at myself for giving them a second chance. Never will buy from HOUSE OF CB again. Realizing these YouTubers must be paid because ain't no way the quality is what they are saying. I've had forever 21 dresses made with better fabric. Ladies keep your money!

Worst CS Ever
November 17, 2020

Customer Service was a joke - had to return my items to separate addresses as one of them got returned for some reason (waste of money since I also used tracking). Originally ordered as an early bday gift to myself in mid-July and I am only now potentially getting my returned items (they kept on being out of stock after I already asked for other items). By the time I get my package it will probably be end of November so this whole ordeal has taken four months... as well as way too much money and time spent on it. Never. Purchasing. Again.

Exceptional

I ordered a dress from houseofCB that was unfortunately too small for an event that was happening two weeks later. I emailed houseofCB inquiring if i should exchange the dress or just place another order after returning. The houseofCB employees replied to me quickly and effectively, assured me my exchange would be here before my event, provided me with the tracking information, and notified me once the order was sent out. The customer service was truly refreshing!

Please do not buy from this company, they don't value their customers and are nothing but rude. Also DONT buy their sale items! You aren't entitled to a refund. So disappointed in this company. I've sent so many emails trying to get to the bottom of an order/return and just get a copy and paste response that does not answer my questions (had this several times - I've now sent 10 emails and not had any sort of decent answer about what's going on with my order!) for a company that sells such expensive clothing you'd expect a higher standard of customer service & appreciation but it's the total opposite. I will never ever buy from them again and will discourage my friends also.

Received my dress with a flaw in the fabric, basically they are not interested and are refusing to even give me the name of a manager I can write to. Customer service out sourced to an email centre I reckon. Don't touch them with a barge pole!
