From reading the reviews on-line and my own terrible experience with House of CB, I would dare to say that once you buy a product from this company, your chances of being able to return and get a refund are basically very small. Their policy to refuse to exchange or refund any item that they deem "soiled" or "damaged" seems to be the standard reason. Interestingly on their returns form they give terrible advice to their customers:
They say:
"avoid using carriers such as DHL, UPS, FEDEX etc."

They don't give a reason why you should avoid using these reputable firms...

Furthermore they say:
Please use your local postal service using a signed-for service. Please mark the outside of the packages as "Returned Goods" and declare the value as "VERY LOW".

Surely, you should declare the real value of the product being dispatched.

Royal Mail guidelines are:
Royal Mail Signed For® items are covered against loss or damage up to the sum of £50 or the value of the item, whichever is lower. Compensation for valuables, such as money and jewellery is not available on this service.

In the event of an item being delivered but where no signature is obtained, you can claim for a refund amounting to the difference between the 1st Class postage and the cost of Royal Mail Signed For® 1st Class.
Valuables (money and jewellery) and items of greater value should be sent using Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed which is a tracked and secure service.

Surely, House of CB London should encourage their clients to use the correct "Special Delivery Guaranteed" service which would offer them some insurance protection if items are lost or damaged.

STAY AWAY FROM CB

Exposing Celeb Boutique a. K. a 'Original Beauty Technology Company Limited' of Hong Kong.

Anyone who buys from this company has been fooled into paying ÂŁ50+ for a label and a box and are bragging about paying ÂŁ100+ for a ÂŁ30 dress!

CB are registered in Hong Kong, China. Not the UK. Their postal address is, as stated on their website:
Unit 01,10/F, Carnival Commercial Building
18 Java Road, North Point, Hong Kong.
DO NOT SEND ANY RETURNS TO THIS ADDRESS - I wonder why...

All it takes is a little google search of their address to see that this is just a Chinese manufacturer and lots of companies are registered with this address.

Every single dress is made in China and ships from China, not the UK.

The dresses can be found for ÂŁ30 from Chinese manufacturers on AliBaba, DHGate, SammyDress, etc.

CB started off with dropshipping directly from China (being the middle man where people place orders on a UK site and then the orders are just sent directly from the factory in China). The label on the dresses back then said CelebCityNY which was not CB. They would cut out part of the care label to stop people finding the manufacturer by the product code. This was set up by a 17 year old girl from her bedroom, Conna Walker! Smart cookie knew how to fool people. The website was amateur looking back then.

As they got popular, they found manufacturers who would put their brand label on the dresses. They then put them in a fancy box with some ribbon, all of which can be bought for ÂŁ2-3 wholesale, spent lots of money on marketing to get lots of followers on social media, gave celebrities free dresses and voila!

Now people are obsessed with posting pictures of themselves wearing this overpriced tat because of the brand name and apparent Luxury because of the price.

CB have been investing a lot of time and money to stop this being exposed. Plenty of sellers on ebay have been forced off the site and small boutiques selling these dresses are being threatened.

I gotta hand it to CONna, for being a CON artist and getting rich from it but people need to know the truth.

Purchased the 'Sathea' dress from this company back in June 2016. When it arrived I realised the dress was unwearable due to its transparency - the photos and description of the product on their website did not show how see-through the material was. I considered returning the dress but since I needed it for an upcoming event I decided to inquire by email about whether there was any underwear I could wear with the dress that would render it suitable to wear in public.

I received an e-mail stating that the models in the photoshoot were wearing nude nipple covers and nude underwear available on their website. I therefore proceeded to buy said products. When I received the items and tried them on with the dress it was still completely unwearable. Obviously this did not match the result I was expecting based on their statement and the image of the product online. I complained, stating that the image was highly misleading/ had been digitally retouched, attached a photo as evidence and demanded a refund. They outright refused, stating that the dress didn't meet their 'return policy'.

However I sent an enquiry regarding the suitable underwear for this product within the 14 day return policy time period and I removed the security tag as they assured the nipple covers would not be visible under the dress - point is, the dress was still in perfect condition. I decided to send the dress back anyway as legally I am within my consumer rights (short-term right to reject). They still refused to give me a refund, completely ignoring UK Trading Standards and the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

3 months later I still have not received my refund and they are no longer responding to my emails. I have contacted Citizens Advice, reported them to trading standards and am now in the process of trying to get my money back through the chargeback scheme. Such a waste of time.

Even without the horrendous costumer service and unlawful practices of this company, I wasn't impressed with the quality of the products either. Also, the company is based in Hong Kong, which isn't made clear on the website.

EXPECTACULAR!

OK... I have to give it to all of you beauties that are currently on this webpage looking for a real time review before buying an expensive piece from this website. Well, here goes an ALL time REAL and RAW review about my experience. I saw these beautiful pants on Instagram that was posted by this beauty guru her name is Amrezy. Instantly when i saw them i knew they had to be mine. I purchased them an XS and they where too tight... i had to return them. Yes that was a mission because no one likes to go through the process of having to wait all over again. GIIIIRRRRLLLLLL let me tell you... Regardless of how much time they take to respond to the emails... regardless of all the wait and the extra money i had to pay to return my item, I was all around very happy with the results. I returned the pants on a Monday and a week later exactly on a Monday (today) i received my new pants and i couldn't be any happier. I'm honestly impressed with all the comments i read at first and was really scared but you know what? They have a loyal customer here! And yes ladies and gent's IM REAL! IM NOT A "PAYED" customer services employee who goes on sites and writes nice reviews for them! I am the real deal holly field! They deserve better than these negative comments. A lot of people just don't read the return policies... I have worked in retail, customer service as a manager and i know the deal. These people get product back that have been used and abused and for that i have no respect. But ANYWAYSSSSSSS going back to the real point, I will continue to buy from them as long as i can afford it and im very happy with this company! I will look like a million bucks for my birthday... and i did as i promised to Nikki and all the associates... i would write this review and let them know how thankful i am for ALL of there help! THANKYOU House of CB!

Service client catastrophique pour une marque qui se veut premium ou luxe.
Je commande une robe qui me revient à 300€ avec la TVA. La livraison est prévue 10j après, sans surprise je ne la reçois pas dans les délais.
La robe fait des vas et viens par ci par là. Finalement, je la reçois UN MOIS après la commande.
Tout ce temps, je contacte le service client par e-mail, via les réseaux sociaux etc…Mais tu sens bien qu'après avoir encaissé votre argent, le reste n'est plus leur souci: on ne te répond pas, te répond très tardivement ou des réponses très je m'enfoutiste.
Dernière surprise au moment de la réception après ce beau mois d'attente, on me facture les frais de douane (ce qui est normal) + la TVA de 55€ que j'avais déjà payé à house of cb à la commande.
J'ai contacté l'entreprise pour au moins me faire rembourser cette TVA payée en double mais à date aucune réponse.
Franchement fuyez cette marque, ils n'ont aucun professionnalisme et veulent uniquement faire du cash au dépit de la satisfaction client!
