Lovely staff members who helped me find the perfect dress, when I was in desperate need, last minute.
Don't even bother ordering with House of CB because there are so many scam sites pretending to be them. I ordered off of a scam site and received a stupid awful looking dress still thinking it was House of CB. Long story short, I lost out on the dress I wanted for my GRADUATION because of them. And all of this because of THEIR brand name and their stupid legal team who obviously are totally incapable of sorting this scam problem and inconsiderate staff of the real House of CB who are now proceeding to ignore me because they won't do the decent deed of giving me the dress that I wanted. At the end of the day, I am a customer and it is NOT my fault, they have made me lose money because they don't know how to sort out this situation. I should be respected, I've been scammed and have been treated aappallingly.
The only thing I want the dress I rightfully ordered and paid for...
I don't care if they have "no relation with the scam site" it's only bloody obvious they don't have a relation with them but their name is SPLATTERED EVERYWHERE on the scam site and emails and packaging and that's HOUSE OF CB'S RESPONSABILITY.
I will NEVER recommend House of CB at this rate!
If you plan on returning anything to houseofcb GOOD LUCK as they do not follow the basic laws stated in the consumer rights act!
DO NOT PURCHASE their Tahnia dress. The crystals on it constantly catch on itself leaving totally embarrassing pulls and threads all over the dress after wearing it for only a few hours to dinner! I tried to return this dress to them asking for a refund or store credit, I would have been happy to take a different style dress as in the past I have been perfectly happy with the brand. However they declined my request and sent me a replacement dress. I then explained to them that I refuse to pay £199 for a dress that is clearly UNFIT FOR PURPOSE and that it is actually my LEGAL right under the consumer rights act to a refund. After also explaining and sending proof that a friend of mine purchased the SAME dress with the SAME issue and received a credit note, they continued to DECLINE my request due to "management refusal"!
Their inexperienced customer service team sent me this UNACCEPTABLE reply, therefore leaving me with no choice but to take them to the consumer ombudsman and file a claim with the small claims court:

This time, unfortunately, since the item has been worn our team was not authorized to offer anything else than a replacement, so they sent you a brand new dress as the original item had been worn. Spent close to 1k on their site and even asked which size to get for the corset top because some of their clothes run really really small and they recommended me a size XS. So I bought the clothes in XS and none of them fit. Absolutely ridiculous because I have a small chest than their models and they claim their models are wearing an XS too so first thing first recommendation and sizing from them COMPLETELY OFF AND UNTRUE. Secondly, one of my bodysuits came snagged so the sewing came off and I sent them pictures and they said they can't see it properly so I should send them photos of me wearing it. I send them a half naked video of myself explaining the flap should be sewn and added more pictures and they told me to send the item back so that they can 'review' if it's broken essentially telling me that there is a chance that even if I send it back they might deem it in alright condition just to put me through all the trouble to send it back. And when I told them about how they recommended me the wrong sizing they just gave me the standard reply of some of the fits run small... CUSTOMER SERVICE AT IT'S WORST AND THEY WILL ASK YOU FOR YOUR ORDER NUMBER ETC JUST TO TROUBLE YOU AND DO NOTHING BOUT IT. But then again the only person laughing to the bank is the owner of house of cb taking my money unethically because their clothes expensive af and quality and customer service lousy af.
