Poor service
July 2, 2020

Hot exhaust does not stand up to what they say. They agreed to send a return shipping label for a part that ends up being a dealer only part. Despite many emails they have not sent it. I will not buy from them again.

Don't waist your time
December 16, 2020

Ordered on the 5th of December. I called today the 16th and was told it won't be shipped until the 30 of December now. I could have gotten it on Amazon a lot faster. So the guy in customer service says well I cancel the order and refund your money. Yes cancel my order and Ill order from someone who actually has it in stock. I wanted this new muffler sooner than the 30th. Even with the Black Friday discounted price its not worth the wait.

At first I was nervous from some of the reviews I've read. So, I called and spoke with John (who knew his stuff) about replacement Catalytic converter‘s (CARB version) and a muffler. I got the Magnaflow front and rear Cat's for my 2002 Toyota 4 runner and muffler for a great price. And I shopped around 1st but Hottexhaust had the best price.
Received everything in a few days. Everything was sent from Magnaflow.
Very fast service. I had zero issues with
Hottexhaust. For me, I highly recommend them. Maybe the customers who had issues
Didn't call 1st to make sure they had the items in stock? All Icall tell you is Hottexhaust was a great, fast experience for me.

I placed an order and the company has gone dark. Nobody answers the phone... nobody returns emails and my item was never shipped. They charged my credit card the day I placed the order and now I am fighting to get several hundred dollars refunded. Stay Away!

I ordered an exhaust. I recieved it yesterday. I am happy with it, although it took 4 days to ship instead of 3 days like it says on their site, but im not even tripping over that. What i am tripping over is the customer service. It is the absolute worst i have ever had. In my situation it is nearly impossible to get ahold of anybody if you tried to call or contact them and then when you do call them and leave a message for them to get back to you they don't. I have left them about three or four voice messages exactly with my name and number and I still haven't heard anything to this day. For this fact alone i will never order from them again just incase my next purchase the item is broken or lost i wont be able to get ahold of them. Once again, the item was good, but customer service is a even more important factor for me. I rate a 1.

Awful to do business with. Supplied wrong part information even after I pointed out that what they were saying didn't make sense i. E. that a 290HP non-turbo and a 355HP twin turbo engine would both benefit from the SAME exhaust system, even though it would mean downgrading from a full twin pipe system to a single system on the turbo. They do not, and did not, respond to emails requesting they place the order on hold until the parts issue had been resolved. Eventually they called back and acknowledged that the part number was wrong and promised to switch it over to the correct one. I then told them that I wanted to cancel the order which they agreed to and said they would send cancellation confirmation the next day. Four days later the wrong part number shows up at my door. Still no cancellation confirmation and still no refund. These guys have no knowledge about car parts, not even rookie level.

After waiting 3 months they finally said i will get a refund. I told them i paid with a prepaid card that i didnt have anymore. They will need to send a cheque.
They didnt listen and now im screwed out of my. Muffler and my money.
This site is a $#*!ing joke

BBB give hottexhaust 7 out 8 scathing reviews out of 8. Each mention customer service is poor, they would give no stars out of five if they could. Each mention John in customer service as being the person everything has to go through and he is rude and presents attitude over the phone to customers. I am waiting over two and a half months for my exhaust which they took money for immediately and won't even give me a date when I could expect delivery. Isn't that bordering on fraud? John is terribly rude on the phone and could care less about even pretending to be interested in customer service.

I needed new catalytic converters for my 911. I looked everywhere. Porsche found me some exhausts in Germany, but it would be a 3 week wait. They had OEM replacements from Magnaflow, so I look forward to getting these installed. The prices from everyone were outrageous, but they had fair prices and then a 20% discount, WOOOO HOOOO. I ordered the cats and they were here in days. I can say, they were not "blowing hot air out of their butts", and delivered as promised. I highly recommend you search www.hottexhaust.com first and save your self some time and money. Thank you again, look forward to installing the cats.

Don't do business with them customer service is non existent and excuses are a staple. IO mistakenly ordered the wrong part and it took almost 3 weeks and numerous phone calls between HOTT EXHAUST and MAGNAFLOW to get a RMA. AND BUYER BEWARE THEY CHARGE A 25% RESTOCKING FEE. Magnaflow is by far the most expensive parts I have bought and you would think they would have better customer service but all I got was the run around

Magnaflow is known for their quality products and HOTT Exhaust should be known for their solid customer service. On a holiday weekend someone contacted me via email and made the changes to my order so that it could ship with the proper product Monday! This is after I made a mistake. Product shipped out with no delay! Another rarity, I spoke with someone when I called their number! Thank youl

BUYER BEWARE
November 24, 2020

I ordered a full exhaust from headers back cost 1500 on August 13 2020 after calling multiple times (they never answer there phone ever) I finally got an email thats states back ordered. I emailed again and asked for a full refund because were a month in and no exhaust yet. So I get an email almost right away but it was not a refund it was a tracking # i thought ok at least ill have the exhaust. Nope wrong again instead of refunding me then sent half my order stating the other half is on the way. Well its November 24 2020 and I have yet to see my full order. Yeah I have a tracking # But that was for 3 weeks ago. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY they don't care about customer service. I have proof of everything I just wrote. I tried to review hotexhaust them selves but I'm pending approval lol

I left a 5 star review when I received my Magnaflow cat-back dual exhaust system, a couple of months ago. The Colorado weather prevented me from installing it.
I just installed it and wow, what a difference. Now my 05 Dodge Dakota sounds great! I should have made the upgrade a long time ago. I really enjoy driving my truck now! My 4.7l HIGH OUTPUT V8 has never sounded so good. Now it has a deeper sound, (kind of like a race car) and it feels a little more powerful.

HORRIBLE

Do not buy from this company! Total nightmare. They take your money and pull a David Copperfield on you. I can't believe they have not been shut down. Had to get PayPal involved. I bet I called 50+ times and NEVER did anyone answer. I sent 10+ E-MAILS... POOOOF... DAVID COPPERFIELD! Do what you will but don't say I didn't warn you.

TOOK $1000 on my CC, did not deliver Magnaflow exhaust. Contacted Magnaflow and the Part was discontinued years ago Magnaflow never received a PO from HOTEXHAUST. The don't answer the phone and Call block customers with complaints and forward it to voice mail. Once they have your $$ your call blocked! You will never reach another real person again. Orders outstanding. They don't return calls or Emails. Have filed a Compliant with CC VISA. Don't delay you complaint to your CC company. Hotexhaust will try and delay you past your recourse period with there BS. Call or Text Dan *******635 for more info

Sent me defective unit, bailed when pushed to correct their mistake. 'We'll just send you a return label because we're not going to be able to ship the right one'. Idiots. Both of these dipsticks have the personality of cardboard cut outs. Maybe their a little irritated because they can't run the business they own? Stay away-buy from reputable parts supplier because these clowns will let you down over and over. Google the address-it's some little hillbilly strip mall in Canada. THERE IS NO REASON WHY THEIR LINK SHOULD END UP AT THE TOP OF ANY SEARCH ENGINE ON THE WEB. They're just not any good.
