I called Hostwinds one day about issues I was having with my site. Seriously, I was having the worst day of my life; everything seemed to be going wrong. After talking to one of their support staff members I felt so much better - they where so polite and understanding it just made my day. It didn't feel scripted at all, it felt like a positive conservation and it was great feeling. Thank you!

I love Hostwinds hosting. Never had major issues, and every time I have any questions, their support is awesome about helping me to come up with a solution. It was great and after one month I signup for an annual subscription. Today I complete one year with them. Superior in every way! I am amazed by the service I have received as well as the technical support. Submitting a trouble ticket is easy and the response is quick and thorough. I've been hooked!

STAY AWAY FROM HOSTWINDS! I have called Hostwinds 4 times in the last 48 hours and they refuse to let me speak to a supervisor about my service problems. They say they do not "transfer to supervisors". I have requested four times to speak with the COO, Michael Brower and he will not call me back. I have also passed on my request to Jamie Lewis (in billing) and Kyle Diablo (in technical support). They will not call me or transfer me to a supervisor. They are a terrible company to work with. STAY AWAY FROM HOSTWINDS!

The cost of hosting websites through them is also minimal compared to the benefit and service one receives. Hostwinds guys have the best service! I've used many hosting providers in the past, big and small. These guys have the easy-to-use package at a super price. Recommended.

I canceled a service but was never issued a refund automatically. Their policy states you must request a refund. You also must request a refund within 30 days of canceling the service. No one should have to request a refund. It can also take 5-7 business days before a refund will show up in your bank account which takes up already 7 days of your time. By the time you figure out that you have to request a refund, your 30 days are finished and they can keep your refund.

Hostwinds didn't work for me. I had problems connecting with the FTP. So I cancelled the order within a few hours of purchase (and well within its supposed "60 day money back guarantee"). However, when you cancel the order it does NOT automatically generate a refund. You have to contact the billing team separately and chase them for a refund!. They took payment immediately but I am still waiting (over a week) for a refund.

I decided to switch over to what I thought was a better hosting company. WRONG! I went to migrate over some websites and they switched up the migration with one domain information being put in another domain and then losing information.

It took 4 days to fix it. I had a plan with 2 TB of bandwidth which is plenty for me. WRONG AGAIN!

Day 8 I was at 3.84 TB of data, Day 9 5.36

It was a server attack that I am now being billed for.

I am sure you know what I mean... Not only did tech support answer my ticket this weekend regarding a problem I had transferring and setting up my domain, they went back and checked again on their own to see if I got my site up and running... WOW! I am impressed!

I have tried other hostings before but they don't compare to Hostwinds ssd hosting service! The interface is the cleanest, most intuitive, and best I've found. I actually enjoy logging in and managing my accounts. But a few features I expect, like WordPress or ZenCart, are offered in a rather roundabout way.

I was looking for cheap web host based on ssd storage and found Hostwinds it is really good. There are many useful free tools for creating and running any sites. Customer support is good, there are skillful workers who are always online and ready to help and solve any trouble. The team that I worked for as an intern was amazing. Everyone person in the team was very helpful and very welcoming.

New hosts come out of the woodwork all the time, claiming loads of promises and piling up the disappointment. Hostwinds is an exception to the rule, proving time and time again that they are the top of their class for years.
