Great so far. I love my site, everyone that I showed my website likes it.
From time to time, I have issues with my VPS website, which I've had for the past year. While its implementation hasn't been smooth, with many more outages than I would have expected, about half the time I can get decent help. Recently, I've learned about how to reset my server. While I couldn't do that on my own today, I set out for help from Host Gator -- in the early hours of Christmas Day. Not the way I wanted to spend my morning. However, Sherry was there quickly, and she was very fast to respond to my issue, providing me with quick questions and quick guidance that taught me a new path for resetting my server and ultimately fixing the problem that brought my server down. I'm not 100% certain the issue is fixed, but Sherry's help led to restoring my sites in about 10 total minutes. Past times sometimes take lengthy periods waiting for a reply from the support person, sometimes with our getting disconnected from timing out. Not this time. I'm really relieved I'm not spending all morning on this issue. Thank you, Sherry!

Most of the people had no clue why this problem occurred. I had to literally tell them what was supposed to be done... First three agents disconnected the chat saying "oh on my end the website is working" without knowing that my ip could be blocked on their side. I think that the agents are not well trained

Of all the times I've had to worked with Tech Support, this experience was one of the three best experiences I've had with Texh Support. I needed to know how to access my email in my site as I've never done this before. Not only did ˆ learn how, I also learned what I had previously requested to be done, (i.e. Setting up a "No Reply" email, as well as an email where it was from "Sunnye"), this was not accomplished. One was not set up correctly (No Reply) and the other (Sunnye) was not st up at all.
This time I got Louise and she set up the "No Reply", as well as showing me how I could set up the "Sunnye" email, as well as the signature. Her patience and professionalism were exemplary. I'm so appreciative of her for showing me how to do something that is new to me.
Louise is an asset to your Tech Support team. Please remember to reward her when review time come around for her. She is definitely a valuable member of the Host Gator Tech Support team.

From continious expireince with hostgator there are following problems:
1- Problems are handled in un effective way
2- Agents does not have system to follow up
3- Every agent starts from scratch
4- every case should have number and agent assigned to follow up through email or phone number

Over the past 48 hours I've lost two databases (had to have them restored), had my IP blacklisted from HostGator (changed my password while downloading files via FTP... oops) and most recently, broke all my WordPress sites by upgrading PHP.
