Don't recommend Honda Financial Services because I was only 44 days late on my payment and they had already came and repossessed my car. When you are only 5 days late they started calling me 3 times a day. Don't use them

Property taxes
November 30, 2019

I have been trying to get a leased car property taxes invoice from Honda Financial services for over a month. They just sent a letter saying that I need to refund them for their paying the taxes. Well, where is the invoice and prove you pay that amount.

They are unwilling to provide one which only makes me think there is something fishy about the whole thing. Perhaps they think none will sue them for their recklessness. No Beyoncé is as incompetent as you are Honda

When you lease ends, either you lease another Honda without any problems. If you surrender the car they will rip you off for normal wear and tear. They expect the return of the car to be in showroom condition. They are charging me $2646. 86 in normal wear and tear to return the car. They are charging me for the 2 tires which had normal use for duration of the lease. The are charging me for not noticeable scratches / dents. I would not recommend anybody to lease from Honda ever again.

I called today at 4:15 pm, and there was a 55 min wait time. They close at 5 pm. They are getting close to Directv customer service, which is Worst on the planet. No matter what time you call, there is always a monster wait time

Payment problems
February 9, 2021

I have had nothing but frustration in setting up ezpay. Twice I filled out the form and mailed it. They never got it. If you call to ask a live person about it you are on hold a minimum of 45 minutes. I tried to set up the payment online and it wouldn't let me complete the form. Help!

Website is horrible, whatever you click on doesn't work. It asks for your loan, lease or vin number something you won't have with you verses security questions or the last 4 of your social security number. Don't even think you'll get someone on the phone. I left work, stopped at the store and drove home all while waiting for someone to pick up the phone then was disconnected. Don't pay and then you'll have someone on the phone.

I purchased a 2019 Honda Passport according to the window sticker the vehicle was *******. In the end the final total was 69,000$. Why Yonkers Honda priced the vehicle 42,000$ then 51,000$ apr 7.59% making the total 69,000$ that's twice the cost of the vehicle. I am advising anyone who purchases a vehicle from Yonkers Honda to make sure they do not Up price the vehicle.

Spoke with Asia both times. Terrible service. Terrible attitude. 10/10 and 10/14. She is in the texas office. I've asked for a supervisor and she said they are not available to speak on the phone. I asked to have a manager call me and she said they would and they never did.
I am just trying to work out a lease extension and they are not flexible or able to have a conversation about this at all.
On a 1-10, Honda gets a zero.

Thieves

They cashed a payment of mine for over 9000. 00 and posted it to the wrong account. They tell me I have to prove it.? I sent the copy of the cleared check with their bank information on the back. They claim I have to located where the check was posted and contact that person to request they return it... How is that ever possible

During covid 19 I lost my job, late payments and the civic value went high the car was worth more than my buyout. I contacted Honda and told them I couldnt afford $609 monthly. My civic was appraised for $23,400 and buyout was $ 19,213. That was great. I kept daily communication with honda but they without notice repo my civic. Didn't give options to get back said had to give $19,213. Wtf.
I didn't even get a notice of where to get my personal items back or any contact from honda. I will seek legal matters if they don't give me my $$ for vehicle and warranty, vehicle maintenance that I cancel.

Lost my title
July 18, 2019

I paid off my car and have not received my title. I called and waited 25 minutes to speak with someone to find out what happened. They mailed it out on June 28th, and it is now July 18th, and I still have not gotten it. Why was this important document sent through USPS and not Fed Ex or UPS? If I was offered either of those options, I would have paid the 6 or 7 dollars for a safer, more guaranteed method of delivery. Now, I have to pay $60 to DMV to get a duplicate title. Being a single parent makes this a hard pill to swallow. I did nothing wrong, yet I have to pay the price for other peoples' stupidity, carelessness, and ignorance. I will continue to post negative reviews on all social media sites until I feel justice has been served. I have read other complaints about this same issue. I wish I did my research before financing with them. Others have filed complaints with the attorney general, and it looks as though I will be doing the same thing.

Buyer beware
May 18, 2021

Honda reported to credit rating companies that I failed to make a payment when in actuality I just changed bank information. They did not notify me about this issue and I only found out when I tried to refi my house and noticed my credit rating had lowered.

I purchased my Honda DEV and paid it off early. Instead of getting a title for my car I have a letter to go down and take the Lean holder off the title. When I called about this I was told that my state did that. That the state of Georgia doesn't do electronic filing. I call the title office and they said that is what the finance comp applied for. They do do electronic filing. Now I have to pay 18 more dollars to get the title transferred into my name. I paid tax TitLE AND LISCENSE. I don't see why I have to pay again. Plus they have the color listed wrong on my paperwork. I guess they hire anybody a job. Then they expect me to fix what they didn't do for free. I don't know how much Auto Nation is involved with guess mistakes

Please please please do NOT BUY OR LEASE FROM HONDA! They stole my car I sent money to them overnight to pay for car and they claim they never got it! I have proof I will take them to court but first I wanted to make sure that I write a review because what they are doing to honest people like myself is not right!
This is the first time I took a Honda and the last! Till now I had crystler, the people u talk to at crysler are very nice honda staff talk to you like you are garbage horrible customer service!
Go with anyone but honda I had a friend that had a problem with honda but i didnt listen i thought it was a one time incedent. When I spoke to honda first they sounded so nice a gentle! I should have trusted my friend! Please trust me even if they have a better deal then somebody else! I don't usually write reviews but I felt I had to

Avoid Honda Financial!

I've been a Honda customer since September 2014, and it's been the worst experience I've ever had. Their customer service reps are RUDE, willing to argue with you, and they will talk to you like you're stupid if you let them. My mom helps pay the car note with her social security check which makes it a little late with the due date for the car payment. I am aware of this. I am beginning to pay off the late fees and the principle on the car since I am at the end of my contract. They are aggressive and will question why you're late AFTER you've already told them your pay situation. I always stay in communication with them. This company is horrible and they should fire all of their employees. Once I get this paid off, I NEVER EVER want to open a car loan with them EVER AGAIN.

They gave me a two month reprieve for Covid. TWO months.
FOUR YEARS LATER they sent me a bill for over $200
I called and it's for INTEREST on those TWO months that was because of COVID.
They can kiss my behind! RUDE~~

The worst experience
August 22, 2018

They have never send me my speed ticket and has been 6 months. I have called them every week and they are saying (oh im sorry we gonna send them out again)
I leased a car so that's whay they receive the speed tickets.
After 6 months i have received just one and the MVA flagged my plates plus I had to pay 2 flag fees because of them.
I have called them about this and they don't want to assume responsibility.
So basically i have paid $60 flag fees because of them.

For a company that claims to have military appreciation I am beyond disgusted with their customer service and their belittling of me when I asked for them to remove a late payment because I was deployed and my auto pay wasn't set up properly. The supervisor I spoke to told me I should stop seeking special treatment because of my military service.

Done with Honda

I have two Honda's. My last payment on my accord this month June 2020. I missed one payment on 2O18 civic. I have never been late on a payment before on anything. With the whole pandemic thing and then my mom gets cancer. I'm dealing with all this stuff I'm human. I just forgot. I never got a call or email nothing to let me know I has missed it. Then when I realized I did I paid it immediately and the next payment too. They refused to remove it from my credit report. I explained the situation to them. They seen I had a good history. Y credit score was in the 800s when I bought the car. They refused to remove it. I'm done with Honda. I will never buy a Honda again. Don't be fooled buy the commercials the helpful Honda people. They are anything but. In 35 years I have never had a late payment on anything and now this one late payment is dropping my credit score. Hopefully it won't hurt it to much. Don't deal with Honda they are awful.
