I got my car paid off but Honda Financials refused to release my Title. I have been calling them for the last 80 days to no avail. In every call I was given different answers. It is impossible to talk to the actual responsible people. The number given in the website is for a call center. The call center agents are tired and careless and some of them very rude. On the tenth call the agent said,"Honda Financials does not have your title. We have sent you lien release and you have to ask for a duplicate title from the DMV in the state you purchased the car. This is what I can tell you if you want I can have a supervisor call you in 48 hours but he will tell you the same information." The supervisor never called me. So, what I am left with is talking to an attorney and report to consumer affairs. I will never ever set foot to anything Honda! Never! Even if it is the only company left on God's green earth.
I tried to resolved issue with head office Honda financial and I talk to Silvia, she was not only boorish, rude but completely out of logic. She does not respect anyone included herself. Never had so bad experience in my live. I feel so sorry for company with employees like her. Its actually zero star review

Sending a Thank you to Quince(sorry if I spelled your name wrong)one of your customer service representatives. She was professional, polite & nice this morning when I called to make my car payment. Great job.
This is my fourth Honda. I don't have a problem with the vehicle, however, the website is just awful. I've been trying in vain to make sure that my auto payment continues with my new lease. Trying to access that particular info in my account has been an abject failure. Trying to speak with a live agent after numerous tries has been impossible. Many times clicking on a particular link has just led to absolutely nothing happening. It's not my computer, internet connection or lack of computer skills. The webmaster should be held accountable for this. Or better yet, get a new one.
Honda financial services is worst company! Stay away. They will steal your money and not treat you with any respect. They speak to you in a condescending way. I accidently sent the 2 payments for one month, I requested to get a money refund, they informed me that there were two payments make. However, they needed proof from my bank. The payments were made electronically. I provide them a copy where it cleared the bank and they still refuse to refund my money, and would not let me talk to a manager or supervisor. I called my bank and request them pay out. I would advise to not do any type of business with them unless you want to be broke.
I am highly disappointed and regret ever dealing with Honda Finance. First and foremost, I have been their loyal customer since 2019 and faithful in paying their money but late last year I lost my job and I explained to them. However, we made a payment plan, having done that they still went ahead and reported to credit bureau for late payment twice in two weeks. Lately again despite the fact that we have paid for December 2022 they still went and report late payment.
Moreso, their customer representatives are untrained and has no empathy for their customers, they issue a threatening words most of the time we called them. Please people should restrain from dealing with them because they are not ready to consider your plight.
So we paid off our 2022 HRV Honda, they sent us the paperwork saying it was paid off and they did not fill it out completely or correctly they said they would send the tag office the correct paperwork by today (8/16/23) they did not and now they act like they don't have a clue what to do it's not my job to do all their leg work they're the ones that screwed this up. I can't even get a title now for my paid off car till they decide to get off their lazy asses and fix it.
This will most likely be my last Honda I've never had an experience with a company upon paying off a vehicle like I have with them their customer service sucks.
Talked to a customer service agent today they said a supervisor will contact me within 24 to 48 hours that's just pure horse crap.
Honda you suck.
I have never been more dissatisfied with the customer service department. The fact that when I am upset, there is no complaint department and I am told that a supervisor would have to call me back, but most likely would not call me back because of my concerns really is not OK if you have any other option to buy a vehicle through please look at that option do not buy through Honda financial
We contacted Honda Financial Services, asking if we can turn in my fathers Civic which has $8,000 in equity, in order to pay for his private aids during his hospice care. Honda said, surrending his car to the dealer is a breach of contract and he would get no equity in return, and it would damage his credit score. Honda would then sell his car, pocketing my father's equity. That's the face of corporate America.
I have worked a long side alot of terrible companies but Honda financial services is by far the worst. I 100% recommend the brand Honda but their loan company is by far the worst with evading, leaving you on hold, not returning answers. You are better off with a shark loan company to than Honda financial.
If I could give a ZERO RATING I would! These folks are corrupt and will lie about their mistakes. They lost a payment, called 60 days later and claimed they found in in a "stack of mail" and yet still reported me as. 30-days delinquent, hurting my excellent credit score!
My bank, who sends the checks electronically, even called them and explained that the payment was sent and simply "admit your mistake Honda and correct it", they refused.
Awful people and too big to fight but, LAST HONDA I EVER BUY! They lose!
I received a recent invoice stating I had a current balance of 0.00 for the month after paying a substantial amount off my principal. When I had called my payment in I was never advised by the Honda assistant that my monthly payment needed to be made either even after the payment amount showed 0.00 I thought all was ok. A few weeks later I received my statement again with a 0.00 balance due but when I checked my payment history, they charged me with a Late Payment Assessment Fee. I have made several calls to rectify this matter and was told they could not help me, I would need to speak to a Supervisor. Its been 48 hours with several calls to Honda with no call back. It looks like my next letters are going to the Better Business Bureau & The Federal Trade Commission. Buyer beware when doing business with Honda Financial.
After 9 years leasing with Honda Financial Service they send me a Lease-End Balance Statement for $1701. 30. The most ridiculous charge was for using the tires of the car, $735.00, they expect that you fly, not to drive because and the end of 3 year your tires needs to be like new. They don't ever consider that I add accessories to the car as the roof rails and town pack and paid extra for them. The $350 disposition fee after 9 years leasing are unfair. Also you will pay sale tax fee over the disposition fee, wear and damage fees, excess mileage fee... tax fee over intangible fees?. They don't have any option to do a dispute o submit a complain. The only option is to negotiate with a representative on the phone, or after 120 day they will report you to the Credit Bureau and ripped your credit.
AVOID lease with this institution because at the end of the lease they will charge you with thousands of dollar if you decided to abandon the brand...
I'm just gonna leave my personal experience here
I paid off my lease and they said after 15 days they did a refund on my last payment, which was $1000. I didn't received any refund. And it's been more than a week since they did it. I haven't received a call back from a manager. And Now I receive a letter notifying me my account was going to be send to collections.
I've called more than three times in a day and the call gets disconnected.
I finally got to talk to an associate. They charged me $140 when was was supposed to be pending was only $7. Which means. They balances are always changing and there's nothing you can do about it. I'm glad my lease ended
Recently the Honda Financial Website has been updated. Now, there is no way to see the balance on the account. Also, there is no way to contact Honda about the website unless you call their 800 number, which has a wait time over an hour. Will be done with my current lease in the next few weeks and I hope never to have to use Honda Financial Website ever again.
Suddenly my monthly payment for my leased car increased by $ 1.22. I wanted to find out what was the reason. It is impossible to talk to anybody. They have set it up so it no feasible. When I leased the vehicle, I was pushed into buying more insurance than I possible could use. I cancelled one, and was told I was entitled to $ 550.00 back ( by the insurance company) Called Travis at the Clovis North Honda Dealer- dealership, and he said I had to wait till my lease was up- 3 years from that date. I can't wait to see what that is going to entail, 4 months from now.
Need to change your email address on your account? Good luck getting the website to cooperate or being able to access an actual human to help! I just need to change my email as I no longer use the one I originally set up my account with. When I tell you I have had to jump through hoops to make this happen... their website seems very behind technology-wise, and I believe their customer service team is operating under a top secret classified mission as the phone menu doesn't even give you the option.
If I could give them 0 stars I would. My mom had a stroke and I took over her payments due to Covid I was a couple months behind. They would not let me negotiate a different payment. Only these cowards repo your car during the pandemic, no one else. They should be shut down. I'll never do business with them again!
Beware automatic payments. I thought my payments were going through but Honda Financial didn't call, email, or send a message. They contacted me on the 61st day - I paid but they had reported a 30 & 60 day delinquency already. I paid within seconds, had a history of on-time payments, They said it was required by law but later said that had a zero tolerance payment policy, regardless of circumstances. I asked why they didn't let me know and they said they were not required to - any kind of contact would have been a courtesy, The rep said they had similar problems with their auto system, but she could do nothing. After successfully getting on auto payments I offered to pay the car in full if they would withdraw the 60 day late payment report. They declined. I paid it off anyway to avoid being associated with this company. Oh well -- only 5 more years of punishment due to getting a car loan with them rather than my bank.
After the unexpected death of my husband, Honda repossessed his vehicle after providing my estate attorney with incorrect information. We followed their recommendations to avoid repossession which was not successful. Not only has Honda refused to eliminate the repo costs due to their mistake, they also will not release the car although I have proof of a certified check being in the mail for the full amount of the vehicle. I have three children, a deceased husband and no car because of their inaccurate guidance. They have done NOTHING to rectify the situation. I do not recommend that anyone do business with them. If I could, I would rate them as a zero.
