A terrible experience!
November 29, 2010

A terrible experience! The website looked very professional, but it was a smoke screen. Very easy to order, not able to deliver. Customer service does not exist, no tracking number, no way to follow up order online. The fastest way to get through is to call sales and get them to help. After 3 weeks and no dishwasher, canceled the order. Credit has not been posted as yet (1 week later)

Horrible, ordered on Oct. 31, credit card was charged, got a notice on Nov. 1, dryer was being prepared for shipment. We called on Nov. 8, was told it would go out at beginning of next week, called Nov. 15, was told it would go out beginning othe the NEXT week. Tried to cancel via email, was told we would have to call, 30 minutes on hold later, managed to cancel. Got the credit to card a whole week later. Total scam!

I placed an order for a range on October 17th. I was told my order would ship on October 27th, November 2nd, November 5th, and November 11th. Of course they charged my credit card on October 18th. I canceled my order on November 8th after speaking with Michael. He tried everything to try and get me to not cancel. Maybe if they would have tried this hard to deliver my range I would have had it by now. Now I get the unfortunate task of trying to get them to credit my card. I was promised it would be done by November 12th, but once again the deceit continues. My husband contacted Joe yesterday. He said he couldn't credit my card because it had been too long and I would have to contact my credit card company and do a charge back... however... he said if I would remove a review I placed on another on-line review site, he would go out of his way and take care of it for me. When my husband told him that wasn't going to happen, he said that we would have to contact our credit card company. Seems to me they are in a way holding my money hostage until I remove that review, especially since they have the ability to credit my card but choose not to because I won't remove an honest review. Very unethical business practices! Do not do business with this company. I sure wish I would have checked their rating with the Better Business Bureau and other rating websites before I placed my order. I would have NEVER ordered from them. The hassle is definitely NOT worth the minimal savings. If I could give some advice, I would say avoid this company at all costs.

I placed two big orders from them and not a bad store at all really as came out to be lots of choice and also lots of choice for delivery too! Both orders were shipped promptly with no problems. Never expected that making such large purchases could be such a pleasant experience.

I STRONGLY SUSPECT THAT THIS COMPANY "COOKS" THEIR ONLINE REVIEWS IN THEIR FAVOR! IF YOU READ THE REVIEWS THEY ARE GOOD, BUT ON ALL SITES THEY SOUND SIMILAR. ALSO, THERE ARE MANY 5-STAR REVIEWS, AND MANY 1-STAR REVIEWS I SUSPECT THEY ARE TRYING TO HIDE. OUR EXPERIENCE FOLLOWS; IF YOU READ THROUGH YOU WILL FIND OTHER SIMILAR REVIEWS.

We placed our order on September 4th, but it did not ship until September 27th. During this time, it was nearly impossible to reach customer service. The only way to get a response from them was to use their automated e-mail form, which took 3 days to get a response. If you call their sales line (the only way to get someone on the phone) and ask any questions other than wanting to place an order, they will hang up on you. When the order finally did ship, it took over a week to arrive, and they were additionally a day later than their scheduled delivery. The "icing on the cake" was that when the item finally arrived (over 5 weeks after order), it was significantly damaged.

I wish I'd read the reviews before I ordered a stove from this company. On Sept 11th I ordered a stove. It is now Oct 1st I am still without a stove or any confirmations as to when I will actually have a working stove. Their game is to take your money immediately then you wait, try calling you are are put on hold for up to 25 minutes, after three of these phone calls and being told it would ship on Thursday or Friday I find out that it is just being shipped to another delivery company. You'd think they would have explained that but NO. It took several more phone calls to find that out. Now the company is on (jewish) holiday and I am left waiting. I moved into a house in the country a week after I placed the order and have been without a stove for over 2 weeks. Now I learn that the delivery company will bring the stove through "the threshold" but I am told I have to get ahold of home everything again to arrange for an installer. Oh God help me is this for real? How the hell can a company like this exist. I am so angry and from reading thre other reviews I have no confidence that I will have a working stove anytime soon. I am now looking into canceling the order. I think the only way this company will change it's tactics or lack of them is if people cancel orders. Hope this help someone else.

Ordered a major appliance, my card was charged same day. No big deal since I received emails same day both confirming my order and letting me know it was being prepared for shipment. 1 1/2 week later no tracking number. I contact them for an update and am told processing has been delayed an ADDITIONAL 7-14 days due to recent holidays (they celebrate some obscure holiday and are closed for up to 5 days). If I want, I can pay extra to expedite processing. Fraudulent and unfair. Definitely not worth the $60 I saved by not purchasing from big box retailer. So I'm waiting up to 28 days for PROCESSING ALONE! Who knows how long shipping will take? I canceled and reqeusted refund. Horrible business practices.

I ordered a GE full console portable dishwasher on 09/15/2010. I received the confirmation of my order which was shipped on the same date. Prices were lowest as compared to other stores. I received my order exactly on 09/21/2010 as they described. Order and payment process was uncomplicated. Informative website that gave me coolness to buy from you. I would not hesitate to recommend homeeverything.com to my friends and will be more than happy to use their services again!

What a joke
September 27, 2010

What a joke. Everything seems great, ordered two Bosch products worth over $3000. Both products arrived damaged, but there was no way to know until installation began. Of course, when I try to contact them the phone rings busy, and Bosch completely washed their hands of the issue (so much for the weight of authorized resellers). Anyway, I don't know how these guys get such good reviews on other websites, but pay attention to the bad ones, they are the likely the only legit reviews. Duped, don't be duped too.

Ordered a Kitchen Aid range Hood with 1200 CFM internal blower from authorized dealer. Liked the detailed list that shows prices, extended warranty, installation guide, installation charges, savings etc. Thanks a lot for your great service, communications and your approach to helping the customer. Overall I was satisfied, and next time I order I will be sure to order from you guys.

I was scared of buying my refrigerator online from them but refrigerator looked new as advertised on website. I did not expect anything before Monday at the earliest! Very fast order processing and delivery after money was received and haven't had any issues with my order. Add items to your cart and pay for them easily. I was very happy with their attention to detail and promptness of service. I will continue to buy from homeeverything.com as long as their prices and quality are maintained. A most impressive performance!

I ordered a refrigerator from Home Everything on August 16,2010. I was told I would HAVE DELIVERY within 7 - 14 days. When I called them on the 15th day I was told that was 7 - 14 BUSINESS days, and told my shipment would go out on August 31, Sept 2 at the latest and that I would receive an email with a tracking number when it was shipped. On September 3rd I called and was told that yes, it shipped, and I will forward you the email with the tracking number. I received an email, but the tracking number spot was blank. So, I called again, and was told that "Oh, I guess it takes 24 hours before we are issued a tracking number, but you will have it by the close of business today." They also gave me the name and number of a shipping company that was to deliver my refrigerator. I finally received a tracking number on the 6th, and it was from a totally different company. When I called this company, she said it would be sitting in Dayton a day or two more because they don't deliver to my area. AND she said "How are you going to get this off the semi. I see it weighs 450 pounds." WHAT? I HAVE TO UNLOAD IT OFF THE SEMI? I don't think so. I was told it that it would be delivered. Sitting on a semi in my driveway is not delivered in my opinion. So, here I sit 3.5 weeks after ordering my refrigerator waiting for a call back from the trucking company to see what it can work out about getting the refrigerator off the truck when it finally does get here... and who knows when that will be. Needless to say, I don't think the $100 I saved myself by ordering from Home Everything was worth the hassel.

I ordered a split AC unit. The description on the item on the web site listed both part numbers for the indoor and outdoor unit. When I received my item it was only the outdoor unit. I called the number listed on the web site and explained my problem. He told me it was just the outdoor unit. I told him the description of the item listed both indoor and outdoor unit model numbers. He put me on hold a long time. When he came back to the phone he told me to look at the web site, he said it did say Each Sold Separately. When I refreshed my web page all of a sudden it listed both part numbers and after them it now had 'Each Sold Separately'. I questioned him on it but he said (of course) that he did not do anything and had no idea that the web site was updated. Told me that I should have known for the price that it was not both. The price on the web site was within line with other web sites, but they were offering a limited time discount on that price that was about to expire. So I ordered from them because the extra discount made it a good deal. This was deceptive business practices. Updating the web site with me on the phone is unethical. He then told me I could return the unit but there would be a charge and he could not tell me how much it would be until the unit was received by them. Asked to speak to supervisor but told he was busy. Throughout the call he had a rude, cocky attitude, offered no solution to my problem. Did not even mention the price of the other unit that I would need. I would never do business with a company that practices such deception again.

Last week I purchased a Portable Dishwasher with 4 Wash Cycles from them. I liked that model because it can easily move from one place to another and was exactly as shown in advertisement online. Order placed on Monday and it arrived on Friday exactly as they informed me. Free shipping and no sales tax was added bonus. Provided excellent product info and quick check out system. Pleasant transaction and if i or my friends or family need anything will look on your web site again. Many thanks!

This is about the worst internet retailer I ever ordered from. Disregard their low prices, they do not carry enough stock. You will be waiting more than a month for delivery.
No tracking available. No response to emails. Waiting 15 min. At least to respond to phone call. They finally assured me that delivery will come next week, waiting and waiting, nothing. Called again, they pretend it was following week and I made a mistake!?! Do they think we are all idiots?
I should never have ordered from them again after my first bad experience. Then I paid extra for white glove delivery[anywhere in the house] and installation. About the worst installation ever and rude installers, who wanted extra cash, no check, because they were stairs to get into my house. After my complaint they sent out other installers who arrived at 6am! To correct the install.
Avoid them as the plague!

Initially very hesitant to make such a large purchase with an on-line dealer. After perusing HomeEverything site for appliances, pricing and policies, I felt more comfortable in dealing with them. So, I ordered a Marvel model # 6ORDESSF 24'' outdoor double drawer refrigerator with the most appropriate accessories for the refrigerator. What an easy transaction on 07/10! After placing my order on-line, received order confirmation instantly, since it was a Saturday. Also received my shipping confirmation and tracking number on next morning. Happy to find they offered tracking information, sending me a link to trace it right away. I received my refrigerator on 07/16 as I expected. Item was new, and undamaged. This refrigerator is more than worth buying from this site! Great follow up as well for after purchase customer satisfaction. Would not hesitate to order additional items.
