I've ordered a large appliance from them early last year without any problem and they honored the price match guarantee. The service seems to have gone downhill from there.
My current order is delayed. I fiinally find out after several contacts with customer service that it is a special order item so they have not even received it yet. I have both e-mailed and called customer service. The response e-mails looked like automated replies. The e-mail ticket number doesn't work when you go back to the website to look up your customer service inquiry e-mail, the customer service agents (on the night/weekend shift) were rude on two occasions, when you try to get through to customer service on an already placed order, the phone line just goes dead! Today (weekday) I did get through to the regular customer service agent without much delay and he was cordial and helpful. They have done something right: not charging my credit card yet because they are waiting for my special order item to arrive to their warehouse. If I hadn't kept a credit with them from my previous order (dumb move), I would just cancel my order and take my business elsewhere.

I ordered a refrigerator from this site and they said delivery would be 3-5 days after I paid an extra amount. Several days later it became 10-14 days so I cancelled my order. It is has now been ten days and still no credit to my account. They sure took my money fast but don't want to give it back. I would not use them.

These guys are shady
March 25, 2011

These guys are shady. They advertise FREE SHIPPING, but that comes with caveats that they don't make known. I ordered a new Weber grill on 3/22, because they had the best price. I received an email confirming the order, stating that I would be notified soon on the status of the order. I received an email on 3/24, saying the status had changed, so I logged in, and noticed a ship date of 4/6 - 4/11. A SHIP date from 15 to 20 days after I ordered? That's nuts! I called to cancel the order, and was told that the reason for the delay was that I had chosen Free Shipping, and for that, they had to wait for a consolidated shipment to be put together. That sounds an awful lot like, NOT THE CUSTOMER'S PROBLEM, especially when that is not mentioned when ordering. I told the guy I was cancelling, and he said he would "ship it sometime next week". Not liking the games this guy was playing with my order, I told him I wanted to cancel, and he told me he wanted a reason. When I told him I didn't like his business practices, he offered to ship it today. No thanks, if you are that skuzzy with your business practices, you don't deserve my money.

He cancelled the order, and I ordered from Amazon; a company you can trust, and one that doesn't play games.

I ordered a kitchette unit for $665.00 in Mid Feb. They immediately billed against my credit card. I have not gotten my appliance yet after a month, just excuses. They have not even given me a tracking number, though they said they would ship it by now. Aviod these crooks, it is not worth a small discount in the price. I wish I had just gone directly to the manufacturer. Homenothing should be their name...

I am so mad I didn't check this website before ordering from Home Everything. I ordered a refrigerator in early January and still have not received it. I call every week and every time, they tell me it is shipping at the end of the following week. I am afraid to cancel the order because I'm sure I won't get the refund either. So I am just holding out hope that they will finally ship the refirgerator before they are shut down by the BBB!

Worst Customer Service and they never delivered my order. I ordered a microwave oven from HomeEverything. All the reviews were look great, but now I absolutely regret that I got into business with HomeEveryhting. They told us that they will ship the order in 2-3 weeks. Now, it has been 4 weeks and they're telling me that they have not shipped it and they may not do it so until next week. The painful part is that they are mean and the guy on the phone told me that "YOU CAN SIMPLY CANCEL YOUR ORDER." Also, I was never able to talk to the manager AS "HE IS ALWAYS OUT OF OFFICE!" Don't buy from homeEverything, it's a huge scam, and don't fall for COUPONs and FAKE promonotion!

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS WEBSITE, THEY ARE CROOKED!

At mid August of last year I was shopping for a frid, a gas range and a dishwasher. As I searched for them online, I came across homeeverything.com. The price was awesome so I spent time picking out three items that I ordered online plus the extended warranty, the total came out to around $5700. 00. I received an email the same day informed me that the order is received and a ship date will be sent to me via email shortly. This is the best part of my experience, the rest is horible.
A week after that I tried to call but noone picked up the phone so I went to the website, opened a support ticket asking for status of my order. I received an email three days after stating that the items I ordered were back order from the manufacture and it would take 3-5 days before it can be shipped. At this time I realized that my Amex account has been charged to the whole amount.
On Sept 7 I received another email from them stating that "your order is currently being prepared for shipment. We will email a tracking # once it ships."
On Sept 13 I opened another support ticket to ask for status of my order and again I received an email stating that the order is being prepared to ship.
On Sept 21 I opened aother support ticket to ask for status of my order and again I received an email stating that the order is being prepared to ship.
I was able to talk to a live person on 9/27 he said I need to pay for rush order and charge me $200.00 and another $100.00 to help bringing the items into the house. I agreed to pay the charges because I really need these items.
The next day I received an email from them saying the order is curently being prepared for shipment.
On Oct 1 I opende a support ticket online to cancel my order. I received an email saying that I need to call to cancel. I tried calling them however I got answering machine to ask me leave messages. Ironically, they want you to call them however, it is so hard to get a hold of anyone there.
On Oct 4, I received another email from them saying the order has shipped it cannot be canceled. However, there was no tracking number no information on how and who handled the shipping.
On Oct 6 their tracking company called me to inform me that they will deliver two items a dishwasher and a gas range for me 5 days later. I told them I already cancled the order and more over the order should have three items not two. They said they are a shipping company and I have to call homeeverything to discuss that.
Despite my verbal and online canclataion, the dishwasher was shipped on Oct 18. My contractor inadvertently signed for and received it. I costed me 179.00 to ship it back to them.
From last Oct to Jan, I have made numerous attempts to contact them for the refund to no avail. If I could get to talk to a live person, I got transferred around and ended up leaving messages. Nobody has attempted to call me back or contacted me to resolve the matter.
I had to open three different dispute charges with Amex and provided them all the supporting email trails, affidavit of truth from my contractor and proof of return from UPS. It took 5 months to get the credit back thanks to American Express who was handling the disputes. I finally received the full refund amount today.
These people are crooked, they are not honest and serious in dealing with their customer. They are liars and rude. DON"T LET THE LOW PRICE FOOL YOU!

I am currently remodeling my kitchen and needed to purchase all new appliances. I shopped around locally and then decided to look online. I found different websites that offered what I was looking for with an added benefit of no sales tax and free shipping. I purchased 6 appliances in all. 2 of the appliances I purchased from HomeEverything.com and the other 4 I purchased from AJ Madison.com. I purchased based on price since both offered the same benefits. AJ Madison processed and shipped my items in a timely manner. HomeEverything never shipped my order. I waited a month for my ship date which came and went. I called customer service to inquire and they told me it would be the end of the week. I choose to cancel my order becasue of other reviews which had the same problem. My credit card was charged immediately so I am expecting a refund. However I will dispute the charge if I don't recieve in 48 hours. I am done dealing with these people. Customer Service took too long to answer and then they were rude. I have since purchased the items from AJ Madison and expect them soon. I'm just sorry I wasted my time with HomeEverything.

I am posting this experience on every site I can to warn people about this horrible company. Amazingly (after reading these reviews), I did get the item that I ordered, but there was no communication regarding shipment or when the delivery would be. I considered buying from a local Home Depot or Lowes, but homeeverything had a "$100 gift card" with purchases over a certain amount, so I determined that I would save money that way. I was supposed to have gotten my gift card in 10 days; it took two months and about ten phone calls (10-20 minutes on hold each time) for me to actually get the email with instructions on the gift card. When I followed the instructions in the email, I found out that the "gift card" will actually only work if you spend more than the amount of the card - to actually get $100 off the price of your meal, you have to spend $200 on the meal (who does that?!?!); that's not a gift card - it's a discount. Nowhere in their promotion did it say "terms and conditions may apply" or anything like that. Here's what it said, verbatim from the promotional emails that I am still getting. Save $1000 and get dinner on us! Claiming your gift card is easy! Simply enter the coupon code "DINNER100" when making a purchase of $300 or more. Ten days after your order has shipped, you will receive an email with your $100 restaurant.com gift card and instructions on how to redeem it. Enjoy! One Gift Card per order. - Notice the "dinner on us" part? I have called them five times about this; the customer reps, when they actually ANSWER THE PHONE, are extremely brusque, and they get angry and rude when you contradict them. One fellow told me to email *******@homeeverything.com. I emailed Albert twice, and got no response either time. I called back, spoke to an equally rude rep, and was told that Albert was the wrong person to email; I needed to email *******@homeeverything.com. I asked if he was in the habit of answering his email, since Albert obviously doesn't, and I was assured that Jamie definitely answers customers' concerns as they are very important to him. I have emailed Jamie twice to no avail. I am waiting for Monday to call them back, since they have no hours on the weekend or after 3PM on Friday. I already reported them to the Better Business Bureau; they have had over 80 complaints in the past three years. I wish every one of their customers would take the time to complain; these people should be run out of business.

Communication is very very bad.
I bought an item (GE microwave) and it has been 30 days.
No shipping information, won't reply to email.
This company is scary. Now is Friday and they closed after 2pm.
I will call next Monday to cancel it.
This company has all the signs to indicate it is a very very bad one. It will be on my black list of companies to avoid

Is it really worth it to save a few dollars? Ordering is easy. Paying is easy. Having your credit card charged immediately is easy. The problem? Actually getting the appliance delivered! Don't trust anything you read or hear from them regarding when it will be delivered. The Expedited Shipping fee is a wasted $50. It is totally ignored. I purchased a Trash Compactor and paid the expedited shipping. Delivery was 3-7 days. Fine. As I checked back on my order online the order had not yet been processed. After two days of this, I called. Somebody in shipping said the 3-7 days was not when I would receive it, but when they would ship it! I tried to get it bumped up just one day, but to no avail. He called his "warehouse" and came back on the phone and said it was going to ship the next Tuesday. Lie. A week passed. Still no change in status on the website. Two weeks passed. No change. I kept issuing the online Customer Service "Contact Forms" and would receive back an automated message... it is obvious nobody was reading my requests. A month later the item was delivered. I demanded a refund of my $50 "Expedited Shipping" and was told it would be refunded. Nothing. I submitted a Contact Form and received a note saying it would be refunded. Nothing. I called and said that I was going to issue a refusal to pay my AmEx charge. They had 24 hours. The next day I received the refund. These are not honest people. The average consumer would have just eaten that $50.

It's better to NOT deal with homeeverything.com.
I placed an order of $750+ for cooktop and $100 restaurant gift card. After making more than 10 calls, I was told they could ship it out immediately, but have to pay extra $100 to get it. Or I can wait, wait, and wait. I waited more than one month, right before I tried to call Credit Card to report this fraud web site, but finally the item arrived. However, the gift card never arrived. After a couple of weeks after receiving the cooktop, I was told the gift card would be shipped 30 days after the item shipped. After two months of shipment, I was told the gift card would be shipped 3 months. During the whole process of purchase, I felt the web site, and their customer service representatives are not honest business persons. I will NEVER do any business with them and NOT recommend them at all.

Compared prices with other online vendors but HomeEverything seemed to be the most professional with the best price at different price engines consistently. I got a built-in microwave oven for my daughter for Christmas day. Received the oven exactly on time and not open the package still but looked nice! I was very pleased with the time frame from ordering to receiving merchandise. When I need more appliances, this site will be the first I go to!

I ordered an item and only after the order was accepted was I informed that the item was on backorder. It's been over 10 days now and no word on it. I tried 4 times to cancel but they simply ignore my e-mails. I won't be unsing them again. Expensive lesson.

I got a Summit: SPWD1470C 24'' washer/dryer combo with 13.5 lbs. wash capacity, 6 wash settings and 2 timed drying settings online. My family liked this model due to digital time display and self-locking door options. Ordered on Nov 19 with simple procedure and within 15 minutes I received order confirmation. Next day I received shipping tracking number for our guidance. When I received my item looked just as they advertised on the web. I washed and also dried my clothes in short time. Outstanding performance!

Ordered a stove on 10/10
November 30, 2010

Ordered a stove on 10/10. Homeeverything.com offered a promotion $20 discount for orders placed before 10/12 - however, as I navigated the checkout menu there was no input for this "promotion". I emailed twice about getting credit for this offer and both times received replies directing me to a rebate offer which had nothing to do with this item. I even explained the issue and there was no response to my direct question. I received a phone call stating that the stove would be delivered on 11/16 between 9AM and noon. A few hours later they called and said it would be on 11/18. So I arrange to hang around the house and make a appointment for the appliance technician to remove my old stove and install the new one. I waited ALL day and there was no delivery, no phone call. I had the tech wait around an hour while I debated whether he should start taking out the old stove. Instead, I told him that we should try this when I actually receive the stove because my luck with this purchase was really getting sour. I called the distributor who passed me off to the trucking company who only had a voicemail which they obviously disregard because I never got a return call regarding the delivery. I again called the distributor who returned my call explaining that the trucking company only delivers to my area on Thursdays - and the next Thursday was Thanksgiving. So they arrange another company and my stove finally shows up 10 days after being told it was going to be delivered. It's missing the top grille and I'm now trying to contact them to get the missing piece. I expect a runaround and a long delay which will most likely be detailed here in a few days.
