They massively over bill and charge a 20% restocking fee for the return. The restocking fee is greater than the cost of the goods if there were genuine which they are not.
I needed an out of production instant hot water heater--the replacement model was larger than its predecessor and didn't fit the space I had. Thought I'd found it at Home Essentials as they specifically advertised the model I needed (at a higher price than Amazon charged for the replacement unit, but I figured they were charging more because no more were being produced). They did not ship the advertised model, but instead the replacement. It took them way too long to authorize the return, and they then refused (or, rather, ignored) my request that they reimburse me the cost ($20+) of returning the INCORRECT unit they sent me. VERY dissatisfied.
They refunded my money after I returned filters and they sent me a return label. I did receive satisfaction since my first review.
I ordered filters for my furnace (16x20x1) I received 12 x 24 x1. Called and wrote them sent pictures they said I had to send them back for refund minus 30 %restocking fee. Went to post office to send back wanted 30.00 for shipping. This outfit is a SCAM RIP OFF! BE Leary of who you buy from.
Wonderful experience! Could not have been easier! Best price! Fastest shipping! Smooth transaction! I will be back.
This company is a 3rd party seller from a big online website. I received my toilet, damaged goods and they refused to replace. This is $1165. 00 toilet with washlet, not cheap. Awful customer service. I called them 10x and kept getting voicemail. I was advised that distributor like Home Essentials Depot are given product allowance by the big toilet company which they can use to replace damaged goods. They just ignored my claim.
I am escalating my complaint from them, the website company and Corporate. Toilet company is most helpful and will be contacting them to remind them of the agreement to use allowances. My renovation is held back due to this!
A very expensive sink arrived with virtually no packaging material, totally smashed. They refused a refund because they only give 48 hours from when you receive the package. Dishonest thieves!
I ordered I front door handle/lock set. I had to pay to have it installed. But after installed I noticed that the product was damaged (tarnished). I contacted the company request a 10% -20% return on my purchase because I am not going to pay to have it uninstalled and then reinstalled and they wouldn't not honor my request, knowing the situation. They wanted me to remove the item and return it. They have horrible customer service. STAY AWAY from this company!
Horrible customer service -- don't waste your time or money here! I can't believe this company can maintain with such horrible reviews and BBB ratings.
Ordered a scooter and they flat out never intended to send it and just scammed me! No answer, fake website
I will never buy Again to this company. I received not what I order. I'm not going to returned because they charge you 20 % restoring fee
CHARGES ON MY CREDIT CARD, DO NOT KNOW WHO THEY ARE? SPAM,, FRAUD, PHONE NUMBER NOT GOOD, NO WAY TO GET IN TOUCH WITH THEM!
This is the most untrustworthy, deceiving and unscrupulous seller I have ever dealt with on Amazon. I purchased a Baldwin Deadbolt lock and from the limited description they provided on the web page it was my impression that the lock has keys on both sides which what I was looking for but I could not tell for sure because they only showed one picture of the front and I figured I can always return it if it is not what I'm looking for. As it turned out, that was deceiving. The lock arrived and when I opened the box I immediately saw a nob on the back side without having to take the lock out of the box. On the packing slip it stated this was a special order and not returnable and this was not stated on the web page. I contacted Amazon and relayed all that to them and I received an Email from the seller stating they will accept the return but I will have to pay for the return shipping cost and on top of that I will be charged 20% restocking fee and none of that was stated anywhere on the web page. Had any of that was clear to me from the beginning I would have never placed my order with this damn seller. Several Emails exchanged with Amazon and the seller and I was given the impression that the 20% restocking fee will be waived but not the shipping cost. So I decided to end this disgusting experience and return the damn lock and pay the shipping cost. A week later I get an Email from Amazon advising me they are processing my refund and it turned out the 20% restocking fee was actually deducted after all and that was again deceiving. So now to return this lock, it cost me half what I paid for it in the first place. I would have been better off keeping the damn lock and given it away to someone than wasting my money on this damn seller. I disputed that with Amazon and all I got was "Sorry, you can submit an A-to-Z Guarantee claim". I am shocked and appalled that Amazon have not been helpful or supportive in this instance. I made this purchase in good faith trusting and relying on Amazon to stand behind their customer in case of any dispute with their sellers. It is always been my experience, I don't know what happened this time. I should point out, I hardly have any disputes in my years in dealing with Amazon. It is very disappointing and discouraging.
Answer: I emailed the company about the fact that I did not receive my order. They eventually sent me a transit number and told me to research the issue. I googled usps and gave them the tracking number. They said it was supposed to be delivered April 5 but they could not prove or verify that. I told the company. They told me to ask my neighbors if they had my package. Why would usps give my package to my neighbors during a stay at home? I told them the neighbors did not have it. Instead of honoring the sale they sent me the usps receipt, which again has no proof of delivery.
Answer: My success story was when I called my bank to report them as fraud and I received my money back along with piece of mind to know that they will never get another cent from me.
Answer: They seemed to have great prices for all the product I needed. Thats how they lured me in to their trap. Read REVIEWS before you shop!
