I purchased a 6 ft. Kitchen Island from this company and after a month they had the color I had really wanted. I proceeded to get an OK from them to return the original purchase (which had never been unpacked but was after the usual return date) They had OK'd the return but I kept getting emails about not approving tl since it was past the return date. Then another emails saying it was OK, this went back and forth like this for a very long time, then they said if I paid for the return shipping it would be OK (which BTW was almost the cost of the island) This nonsense went on for 2.5 weeks...they are foreigners and have very poor communications skills so be very clear about what you want because if not they are a nightmare to deal with.
We have been buying from homary for the last 4 years. They have been absolutely great to work with. We have probably spent over 30k with these guys for all our remodels and furnishing our homes. The customer service is excellent and the products are excellent.

I purchased two vanities from this site for a luxury bathroom in the Washington, DC area. Online, they looked elegant and expensive. I paid $600 for each. When they arrived, I opened up one of the boxes and as soon as I saw the vanity, I knew it was trash. I took it out of the box to make sure and yes, it was made from a cheap wood and painted. It literally looked like something you would get from K-Mart for $50.
I immediately went online to request a refund--the other three boxes was not even opened. I had to wait over a week to get the return label. They send me the return label and let me know I had to pay for the return cost back to New Jersey. Guess how much the return shipping price was? $600! This is madness! DO NOT BUY from this place! You'll pay more returning it than buying it!
They need to be shut down. AND---I've been trying to leave a review on their webpage all morning. They won't allow it. A total SHAM!

Homary does not respect delivery dates. They do not reply your messages or return phone hone calls. You can never get to talk to a real representative. And they give you a very hard time to return products. Be prepared to pay for return shipping. Never purchasing anything from them again.

Tip for consumers:
If your item is eligible for a return (and that's a huge *if*), they will charge you a "restocking" fee and subtract the return shipping from your refund total. You'll end up paying almost double for an item you do not want because of the poor quality.

Bought an office desk and an office chair but both came damaged. Customer service was responding quick and tried to offer a solution. So we had the choice of returning the items or accept a discount and keep both items. As the damages were not too massive and we needed the desk and chair, we decided to accept the discount and keep the items. Homary promised to take more care in quality control and check items before shipping. Will give them another chance but expect flawless products. They offer great design furniture and if they manage to deliver good quality, they'll be a great online furniture store.
