Amazing!

I just purchased a plane from hw, I honestly can not fault their service. The website was easy to navigate, the item was shipped quickly and I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived 3 days before the estimated day of delivery and it was exactly as described! And the price of the plane was unbelievable, much cheaper than other sites. What more could you ask for?! Thanks HW!

Poor Customer Service

They do not update their website and will just cancel your order if they don't have the stock. They refuse to communicate with the customer over the phone and take at least 2 days to answer each email. It has taken 2 weeks to sort what we could in a 2 minute phone call. I am still waiting for my refund over 10 days later. I would have been happy to just choose an alternate item but they are too busy or lazy to give any customer service.
I will buy elsewhere when I finally get my money back.

Don't order anything from this place. They take your money and never ship your items. I have tried to get an answer for the past month and a half but all I get is 2 emails back saying we are checking on it. This after 20 or so emails requesting updates. I have given plenty of time for someone to respond. Horrible customer service.

This company has no customer service at all. Only 1 of my 2 paid items (expensive shipping fee) has arrived with no explanation at all. I emailed, no replies, then I called, but the ring keeps ringing (no music, no auto-answer, just rang for 10 min), tried a few times, made me no choice other than go to the fair trading. Just no feedback at all. Do NOT buy there!

Shocking service

Shocking service. Appalling company to deal with... I ordered express postage, not only did i not receive it one week in. All I've been trying to do is call them to ascertain where my order is at. Nobody ever (and i mean ever) answers calls, it just dials out. Try it, there is nobody manning the lines. Try emailing them, no go... Do Not Buy From This Store...

Appalling business to deal with. Placed an order and paid for express delivery, website stated that delivery was within 1-4 business days. 10 days later my order has not even been sent and the company are refusing to refund me for the express shipping I paid for. I tried to cancel the entire order and they completely ignored this request also and quickly booked my order with a courier. Completely misleading, take money for a service they don't provide. Have currently opened a PayPal dispute to try and recover my money. Don't waste your money on the faster shipping charges, it's a complete lie.

Item listed as "in stock" on website. I waited almost 3 weeks after payment confirmation before emailing to ask for an update (gave extra time due to lockdowns). 3 days later I was told my item was out of stock and given a refund. Meanwhile, the item has since sold out from all other retail and is now only available from scalpers, starting at double the original price. It's just a toy, but they can't even get the sale of a piece of plastic right. Absolute joke of a company, awful service. Give them a miss.

IHobby quality service

I do not normally write any reviews recomend the service of Ihobby.
Although we encountered a delivery problem they were supportive in coming to a resolution.
Problems can never be avoided but it's how people resolve these problems distinguish the quality of people and the company's they represent.

***DO NOT USE*** I purchased a $275 Red Bullet RC Speed Boat and within 2 charges of the battery - the battery smoked, swelled and was unusable. I placed a claim through warranty and after 6-7 various stalling questions such as please photograph where the batteries are fitted into the boat? Did you cycle the battery when not in use to maintain battery integrity etc etc etc... In the end I said I will buy a $30 battery elsewhere as your after sales service is disgusting. Darren

Terrible customer service

My sons HSP car stopped working after its 4th use.
Was caused by loose screw left in the gearbox jamming the gear and damaging the gear.
They said warranty was void because the car had dirt on it (It is an off road RC car)

They had no interest in helping me out as a customer just flicked me off

Shop elsewhere if you want after sales service, there are plenty of other shops around

I placed an order at the beginning of March through their ToysRUs branded site (identical to HW site except for colour/branding). It's now well past their 1-6 day delivery timeframe. They don't respond to any of my messages/emails/calls. They haven't so much as sent me a tracking number. Their most recent reviews on their site are from September 2019. Starting to think this is a scam. I spent $1.4k on Lego. How can I get a refund if the order never arrives?

Such a painful experience they never sent the item, dont answer emails and they don't have a phone number. Currently in a PayPal dispute to get my money back. Never trust a shop that doesn't even have phone support. They can just take money and delete emails easy.

Scam of a company
June 24, 2021

I ordered my item over 2 weeks ago and they are unable to provide any details or estimate on when my package will arrive, even AFTER I paid $50 for expedited shipping! Like the other reviews, I am getting a generic response saying it takes time to find the item and pack and ship. How this company still exists is beyond me, but their customer service SUCKS

Do not order

Do not order from this company. I have ordered an item with express post, with no confirmation of post being sent. I followed after 3 business dys and was told 2 items were pre-order. This was not advised at time of purchase or after order was received. I feel complete mis-led andthe ACCC are now involved. This company lies and will not provide you any details to make an informed choice.

We purchased my sons main birthday present on the 5 May. Received email to confirm purchase and then no further updates. I emailed customer service with all the details on the 11 May (6 days after placing order) and I received 1 email saying my order will be upgraded to express post with no explanation as to why the delay. I also tried to ring that day but no one answered the phone even though they have a phone number listed on their website. After waiting for 20 mins, I got a recorded message and I could leave a message. No one responded to that message. My little boy turned 5 10 days after ordering and his one main present he wanted was a no show. I emailed them again on his birthday and asked if I could cancel my order as I had received no further communication. I received a reply saying it was too late to cancel. Later that day (his actual birthday) I received a message to say it had been shipped. So disappointed. Cannot recommend. Very poor communication - no explanation given to me so obviously customer service is not a priority.

Purchase on Ebay

Many times I have waited for a purchase that has take far too long or when received is packaged where there is no protection. This was not one of those cases! The service was awesome, communication along the way top notch but receiving the item in a unbelievably fast time and packaged the way it was put my mind at rest on how it would be presented when finally having the item in my hands. I would recommend these guys to anyone to buy from. Its the end result that matters and they delivered in spades :)

Pathetic service

I've spent thousand with this company over 3 orders, worst customer service I've ever received! Latest order was placed with plenty of time to receive before Easter, all items were "in stock" and I paid an extra $60 for express post. The items have not even been shipped from their warehouse yet! They don't answer the phone... EVER. I've called 25 times and not ever received a call back. They take 2-3 days to reply to emails with "sorry for the inconvenience" your order will be shipped soon. Absolutely pathetic considering I've paid for express shipping and they can't even get their act together in the warehouse! This was an Easter present for my kids! Shocking company
