Long time viewer, finally first time buyer. As an international customer, I was concerned about pricing, exchange rate and duty but once delivery arrived the quality and look left no regrets. Almost impossible to find quality heritage clothing that isn't a cheap Halloween costume but Historical Emporium makes it possible! Outfit purchased literally turns heads on the street. I look and feel the part, and can't ask for anything more than that.

I cannot say enough good things about Historical Emporium. From the on-line catalog, nicely organized and what a selection (very user friendly), to the 'go-the-extra-mile' help from Customer Service, to the essence of it all...the quality of the products and period authenticity. I already am working on my next order...just waiting on answers to my question regarding two different offerings and wondering which would be the best choice with the other items I have selected. Definitely ask if you are not sure which item to choose and how the whole outfit will co-ordinate together. Customer Service reps are excellent fashion consultants! Purchased items that would be for my daughters wedding. She was getting married at a historical revolutionary war generals home in Valley Forge area, Pa. I felt it was only fitting to dress with some consideration of period type clothing and it did go rather well with her 1900 era wedding gown. I got many compliments on the attire. Items came on time and well packaged, as I had ordered only 10 days before wedding day. Thanks again for helping me with this special day

I found this website a few years back and I've been coming back ever since for various products as they are updated. The prices are reasonable and the customer service is actually easy to get a hold of. I haven't had a problem with any products so far, but I have called them to ask about future items and they pick up right away. Plus, they are friendly and helpful.

The products are always of high quality and reasonably priced. If you're one who works in theater or perhaps you simply like Victorian clothes, I would HIGHLY recommend this website. I can never find any service like this that can provide me with Victorian men's clothes at a decent price.

I'll certainly continue shopping here and I invite anyone to give them a try.

I have had one issue with a defective speed lace hook on a boot which was resolved by having me pay for local repair and a partial refund issued. Sizing on an overcoat is being handled by having the too long sleeves tailored at my expense, which may be just a standard issue for sizing in historical clothing which runs only every other size and with only one associated sleeve length (for this overcoat). Both issues were handled well by customer service. Other products such as vests and shirts have been generally of good quality and satisfactory purchases, though fit for me will seem to be a continual problem, due to my personal height and build. If you need historical clothing, Western Emporium is worth giving a try.

'HE' Folks! You're GREAT! Everything per your highly adequate sizing fits like it was tailor made! This Christmas, my lady and I will step out in true Victorian/ Edwardian style thanks to a company such as yourselves! One bit of "constructive" criticism...try photographing your clothing with a contrasting background! My lady received her blouse today (she LOVES it!)...and I was highly impressed by the delicate lace that adorned the front of it. Didn't see that in the ad photo! I wish 'HE' continued success and am a confirmed customer!
