I have used HE since 2015 and always found them helpful and had everything our business required. Lately, there has been not one thing we needed in stock. I wonder what actually is in stock sometimes! And to add insult to injury, they can't ship to Australia (that's probably not their fault but other companies certainly can). I had to get my last order sent to the UK to my daughter to get it shipped here and that cost me not only postage but bloody import tax too! This is not just recent either. We've been trying since before COVID to get clothing and always out of stock. We waited and waited but nothing ever seemed to be restocked. Historical Emporium used to be a business I could really recommend to people who always commented on our uniforms but now I have to tell them that they were great but they just don't have anything anymore.
I just received my black floral tooled single drop buscadero rig. Tooling looks nice. Quality is not quite what I hoped. But the most disappointing part is. The belt only holds "8" cartridges. They must not know about cowboy action shooting. Each stage you'll shoot 10 pistol rounds. 5 from each handgun. There is plenty more room on the belt for more loops. But that's where they take the shortcut to save materials. Time to go back to Triple K leather I guess
The quality was good, but there was a sizing issue. I found your service rep less than helpful when I asked about sizing. I do not think your sizing chart with Cahill Hats is particularly accurate. That being said, your customer service rep was indifferent and lacked suggestions. I will return and try a size smaller. I buy a lot of hats and I think your sizing may too generous, but the smaller may fit. This is not thanks to your customer service rep, but because I would really like the hat. Enough to incur an extra $27 charge for return postage.
Historical Emporium is good quality of clothing, in addition, each style of product has a unique look and feel to it. I'm still frustrated that they can't bring back the Ritter wool vest and trousers. I have a vest similar to the Ritter wool ( the Julian vest) and I always wanted a vest like it, because I thought it would be good to have a variety of that type of product to wear to school as a casual attire.
I am fond of shopping at Gentlemen's Emporium. I have shopped there before and been satisfied with the merchandise and service. This order took almost 2 weeks to be delivered, mostly because, it was not processed and shipped until 7 days after being paid for.
Prices are absolutely astronomical.! $69 for a simple vest and then shipping and handling cost almost $85... special orders take too long.NO responses to inquiry for when something would be back in stock...
I needed some articles of clothing that were accurate to the time period, namely 1860's-early 1870's Old Western U.S... found what I wanted, and then some! The inventory in your catalog is amazing. Certainly will recommend to others...

My old belt shrunk. Ha ha. I just like old west type shooting. I can hit a target at 10 paces. But I don't like to use live ammo. I would like to have som blanks. I made some but they didn't make much noise, just poof and smoke. I like more noise.

Submitting orders on weekend usually don't get responses until the week. Historical Emporium responded immediately and the coat was delivered in about three days, regular shipping, from California to central (latitudinally) Oregon.
I accidentally ordered the wrong pair of boots and was able to call customer service. They were able to fix the problem right away and the calvary boots arrived.

Staff great however even after staff subsequently sent me a second hat felt ….hat was still to large ….this is unfortunate. I guess this top hat will remain strictly a showpiece in my wardrobe. UNLESS you think a third hat felt might do the trick? How many hat felts is reasonable ……or absurd?
