The company has established a reputation for providing a user-friendly online auction platform, with many customers appreciating the ease of bidding and tracking items. Positive feedback highlights the quality of products and efficient transaction processes. However, significant concerns arise regarding website performance, excessive shipping charges, and insufficient customer support, particularly in resolving issues related to missing items and unclear invoicing. Overall, while the platform is favored for its convenience and product variety, improvements in customer service responsiveness and transparency in seller charges are necessary to enhance the overall customer experience.

I recently won some bids and no where on the description did it say it did t ship to the us. It wasn't until check out that i found out they no longer ship to the us which was aggravating
My bidding experience was good. And I won a couple of the bids for rather inexpensive things. The problem is that the times available to pick up the objects are extremely limited. The pick up site is in Green Valley and you have to schedule a time on a specific day within a three hour window and a less than 5 minute appointment. Changing costs $50. I am not likely to bid on anything else in future auctions because of this problem. I'm not sure if they have a storefront, but if they do, it shouldn't be all that difficult to schedule a pick up that is convenient for the buyer.
I bid on a coin, later learned that it may be fake and the auction house had all this fine print/disclaimers stating as-is/no refunds. I tell you what. If it is a fake I expect a refund and will do a chargeback.
I've bid in a few auctions through HiBid and it was always an easy and seamless experience. I didn't always get what I bid on, but when I did, I never had any issues receiving my items. If you want to have some fun and try out an auction, HiBid is a great place to do so.
Got on the website looked and see what they had put my bids in then I didn't worry about it. I was sent an email saying what I won and it was perfect and everything was so simple to use.
I've been using HiBid for a few years now and it's great! I find all kinds of items that I would never buy at retail prices but are available at an excellent value on HiBid. Thanks for making the bidding process so easy!
Super easy to sort listings. Once registered, bidding was smooth. If you're going against another, the listing adds time so you can change your bid. No swooping in and getting it last second. Definitely a fair practice.
Wanted to purchase new furniture for my daughter's new condo, but the stores sell cheaply made goods at high prices.
I found almost all of her needs at HIBID auction! Fraction of the cost. Great quality.
The bidding process is easy and fun. You just need to know what you're looking at before you bid. I'll be participating in more auctions. The pickup process is easy and the folks are great.
It's fun and you can get some pretty good deals.
Bidding on an auction item is the easiest thing to do.and the outbid notices take all the guess work out of it. It's easy to know were you stand.
After selecting an auction, and placing a bid.make it easier to come back to the next day to see were I stand.

For the most part iv had a good experience but...
With River City Furniture Auction Dec 17 2025
Auction ad bidder # **************
Paid for the items...
Waited till after the holidays were over. Contact them... didn't hear anything... contacted them again Jan 12 2026. Received a message that they can not find all the items (10 of them in total) to send to me so they offered me a refund... this is UNACCEPTABLE... i can not purchase these items for the price i paid at auction and i believe this is why they say " i cant find your items"
I have told them i will wait till they find them or they can refund me the market price for the items so i may purchase them at a store...
I got no reply
What can be done about this?
Can i hold them libel till they find my items or replace them?
They have some of the items i purchased up again at their auction...
Why cant they just send me those items?
I hope u can help me with this problem
Feel free to email me at...

I look forward to your response on this matter...
The entire process is straightforward and easy. I have bid on numerous things using the HiBid system. The only thing that could be better is if they brought back the app for mobile devices.
I like using HiBid. I've gotten some amazing deals but, I've also gotten some duds. Items advertised $#*! new that were clearly used and damaged.
I would love it if there was a way to rate sellers so the reputable ones stand out. Right now, there's only one that I know is reliable and bid with consistently. When they don't have what I'm looking for, I'm hesitant to try other sources.
There is a sort and filter feature but I still find it a bit muddled when looking for auctioneers in my area who have brand new items.
Overall, I'm not mad at it but it's taking way too much of my disposable income!
When I switch to live on the lot I was bidding on I lost track of it, user inexperience possibly as this was only my 3r auction on your site, I found refreshing my browser on my phone worked better for me, other than that it was positive
This was my first time using Hibid. My husband buys all the time on this platform, but my first and LAST time I will. I bid and won an auction for a 2023 Dodge Durango. The auctioneer contacted me with an invoice to pay. So I thought all was well. Well, I am out over $******* and NO Durango. Apparently, on the Hibid side, everything disappeared. I don't even have a record of my bid. I was never notified from Hibid that the auction was removed. If I was I would NOT have lost all that money. There should be a better failsafe system to protect buyers from scams like this. This site, as far as I am concerned, is nothing but a SCAM!
Currently I am sad that the app was removed. It had its issues and glitches but made things so much more convenient then the website. But there should be a place to review auction houses on the site or warning for other bidders since not every auction house is made equally.
I bid on a gun in the Hermiston auction, I have emailed the auctioneer twice to see if I actually won and never received a response. Nothing!
I'm not sure if this survey request is for a specific auction (I bid with two auction houses yesterday 1/1/2026), or if it's just a general survey.
My opinions and comments are not aimed specifically towards my bidding yesterday but rather at many (not all) HiBid auctions in general.
It seems to me that there is fraudulent Shill Bidding going on. For those that don't know what "Shrill Bidding is..." A seller (or someone acting for them) places bids on their own items to artificially drive up the price, creating a false sense of demand."
My example being that there be five identical items in a row (or sometimes staggered to throw people off) and all the bids are exactly the same. I was looking at some Prestige Coin sets the other day, all five were at $35.00 each, up to the day of the auction. Each set was identical in all aspects. I find that odd and disconcerting.
I have attempted to notify HiBid but I have no avenue to report my suspicions that this is happening. There WAS a customer service option but now it has been removed from HiBid or it has been made very difficult to find. If a company offers customer service it should be in plain sight.
Hopefully you will be able to forward my concerns to HiBid and Shrill Bidding will be stopped (or at least reduced).
Bidding is easy. Payments to some of the auction houses is more difficult than it should.
I will not use platform for Vail out of Pasco WA. They're misleading people in their ads and have kids working at the site, even driving the forklift.
Answer: Licensed auctioneer here- auction law is that if you give notice that you need to retract your bid before the hammer falls (or the auction ends online) that the auctioneer is required to retract the bid. Actual law also dictates that bidding must start over at opening bid, not the next highest bid.
Answer: Very easy. If you dont get someone immediately they do call back. But once again if you have a problem with items contact the auction house not hibid. Hibid doesn't auction they only provide the platform
Answer: Most auctioneer there are scammers, a thrift store would be better option.
Answer: YES! Confirmed by an auctioneer I know. Hibid auctioneers can see your "maximum bid" and in most states it's legal to "shill" an auction or to bid against the public bidders - to "ensure reasonable sale prices" per national auctioneers associations. Also, anyone can set up an identity and bid against you. Although that may get interesting when they have to pay a commission to "buy" their own item!
Answer: "Mechanically challenged" is often a term auctioneers use to indicate that an item might not be functioning properly. It usually means that the piece needs repairs, doesn't operate as intended, or may have some technical issues. It's best to reach out to the seller for a clearer explanation to avoid any surprises. By confirming the exact condition directly with them, you'll have a better understanding of what you're bidding on.
Answer: Yes, if you suspect any fraud, please contact HiBid directly at 844-775-4774. Our team is here to assist you and ensure a safe and secure experience.
Answer: Some auctioneers require credit card verification as part of the bidder registration process. This process involves a temporary authorization charge of $1.00 to ensure the card is valid. In some cases, additional processing fees or taxes might cause the amount to appear slightly higher, such as $1.46. Please rest assured that this is not an actual charge but rather a temporary hold that will be released by your card issuer. Typically, these holds clear within 5-7 business days, depending on your financial institution. If the charge doesn't disappear after this time, we recommend contacting your credit card provider for further assistance.
Answer: Thank you for reaching out regarding your bidder rating and the reasons behind it. Bidder ratings on HiBid are determined by various factors, such as your bidding activity and whether you've been permanently approved or declined by auction companies in the past. Unfortunately, HiBid support and bidders themselves cannot view or access these ratings or the specific reasons behind them, as this information is exclusively available to auctioneers. The best way to gain insight is to contact an auctioneer you have a good relationship with or one whose auctions you'd like to participate in. They may be able to provide some clarity or work with you to address any concerns.
Answer: Thank you for reaching out! We understand how it can be confusing when an item is removed before an auction ends, but please rest assured it's not a scam. Sometimes auctioneers encounter unforeseen issues and may need to cancel or relist items. Keep in mind that auctioneers often work with consignors to ensure items are sold fairly, which can involve reserve prices or other considerations that may or may not be visible on specific listings. We recommend reaching out to the auctioneer directly for more details. If you have any difficulty reaching them, we're here to help facilitate communication.
Answer: Yes, HiBid regularly features a wide selection of motorcycles available for auction.
