I've purchased about 10 roses from Heirloom Roses this summer and they are the first company I check with when I need another plant. The variety of roses is the best and customer service has been helpful. Recently I wanted to add on to an order and was having issues with being able to log in to my account, I reached out and someone called me, corrected my order, helped me log in to my account, and gave me helpful advice about some of the roses. Yes original prices are a bit high, but they often run great sales and have a great loyalty point program. Quality of shipped roses has always been excellent as well.
Recieved 2 rose with metal I'd tags. Yesterday. Well packaged pots wrapped in plastic bags, stock shipped in great size box with divided sections to keep bushes upright and printed with planting directions. Looking forward to spring growth!
I received my rose in an awakened state with blossoming buds and was very worried that it was still very cold outside in NJ. But it came to hang and my rose had already grown. I really hope she will be great, because I dreamed about her so much!
When you call no one answers for a long time. The message tells you to email for faster response. You email them and they send back a generic generated response. I again attempted to call three more times. It's like trying to reach the government. They're not that busy. They do post on Facebook multiple times daily and email you junk mail about three times a day, but do not care about their customers.
Rebecca, I'm sorry that you have had trouble reaching us. We had several customer care employees out sick recently and then we have been understaffed. We have hired additional support staff to help answer emails. Our customer care team is a different department than our social media team, so our social media coordinator does have time to post to Facebook but she also answers emails in her spare time too! We are multi-tasking as much as we can while still trying to care for the roses in the greenhouses. Thanks for your patience. If you have a specific concern that I can help you with, I would be happy to do so. Just email us info@heirloomroses.com and put "ATTN: Robin" in the subject line. We will respond right away. Thank you.
These guys are crooks. Be sure to read all their fine print. Their roses arepuny and will not survive a year. Do not buy their fertilizer. Too expensive and will grow a healthy rose. Their guarantee is rubbish. They never back up their guarantee. Go to David Austin roses. You will not believe the difference and your credit card will not get hacked like heirloom roses customers
Wayne, I'm sorry to hear that you did not have a positive experience with Heirloom Roses. That is not what we strive for and I would like to help make this right. Could you please email us at info@heirloomroses.com and let us know your order number and that you are responding to Robin. I will be sure to have our care team review your recent order and see what we can do to help fix this.
I received my roses late but it was no fault of heirloom roses. Shipping company had them for 8 days and I was worried about the plants being DOA. Spoke to Sonya at HR and she described how they were packaged and what they prepared them prior to shipping for just such circumstances. They arrived in great shape and all is well. Thanks Greg
Don't waste your money. I bought two of their expensive plants, used their extremely expensive fertilizer, compost, soil additives and folllowed their "expert" advice. My plants died anyway. They refused to replace them per their guarantee.
We're sorry to hear we did not live up to your expectations! If you disagree with the outcome of your RMA request we would be happy to review the request again with you. Please call us at (503) 538-1576 or send us a email at info@heirloomroses.com at your earliest convenience and we would be happy to assist you!
I was disappointed not to be able to use my rewards with the earth day promotion as it was an earned reward. I understand the ability to process multiple codes is coming, which is great! I appreciate the quick response from Heirloom Roses to address my concerns. Their roses are great and I've purchased from them many times.
This is my third rose, Good Ol' Summertime, from Heirloom Roses. The healthy and quality of shipping is excellent. The roses arrive without blooms or mature leaves, which helps protect them during transit. And my prior 2 roses had leaves and were growing well with weeks of arrival.
I really love the high quality, beautiful roses that Heirloom Roses offer! They are beautiful and arrive alive and healthy. They offer advice and helpful tips to get started and plenty of soil amendments. If anything goes wrong, their warranty is excellent and their customer service is very good!
I highly recommend them!
I should have ordered earlier. A couple of the roses that I really wanted are sold out but fortunately there were other beautiful choices. The ones that I chose arrived today and look healthy and have already started to leaf out. Let the planting begin!
Had three beautiful roses that preformed wonderful the first year in containers but didn't make it thru the winter. I put in a claim online but didn't hear back for several weeks. I called and spoke with Brittany who reviewed my claim and approved it. Wonderful customer service and nice to speak to. Looking forward to my new roses.
Dawn, thank you for your kind words. We are so glad we were able to help you resolve your guarantee claim. You can check out our article on preparing your roses for winter for great success in helping your babies make it through this next winter. Happy growing with your new plants!
We bought a rose from Heirloom Roses, which died. We planted it and cared for it correctly, having grown roses for 45 years.
The rose died. We filled out the paperwork to ask for a refund or replacement and send photos, as per the company's directions. We were then told "a committee" had to review the information to decide if our rose would be replaced.
We were then denied replacement or a refund because "we did not fill out the paperwork or send photos".
Extremely disappointed; it seems Heirloom Roses is simply looking for an excuse to not hold up their end of the warranty. It doesn't take "a committee" to review these requests and if we didn't fill out the paperwork how did they know to email me about my claim being denied. Will not use them again.
I am sorry to hear we have not lived up to your expectations of our company! Please call us at your earliest convenience and we would be happy to verify both step 1 and step 2 of the RMA process is completed and will review the claim with you!
I am concerned about Basye's Purple Rose will grow into a strong rose. Due to Highway 80 being closed for several days my shipment was delayed. All the roses did fine except for Basye. All of the branches on Basye are brown. However, the buds are still alive. I think this rose bush will really struggle.
Bought six gorgeous roses from Heirloom roses. They arrived quickly and in perfect health. They are hardy and have already bloomed. Rebekah, from Heirloom, helped me pick the perfect roses for my location and lifestyle. Thank you Heirloom!
So glad Rebekah was able to help you with choosing roses specific for your dream garden. We love her too! Happy growing! - Robin
I've ordered lots of roses from Heirloom Roses, and this company does stand behind their roses! Their customer service is great, the roses I've ordered have done extremely well (if there has been a problem, they've replaced the rose), and I've been a repeat customer many times bc they provide quality roses and customer service. Don't hesitate to get your roses from Heirloom bc you won't be disappointed!
It was all very easy. I went through and read about the roses so I could pick. Then placed order and was asked when I wanted them delivered. That was great! They came at a prefect planting time. I also watched the video you sent about what to do when they came. I am excited for them to bloom! Thank you for making it a fun and easy purchase.
I'm glad I found this site, it's helpful to narrow down the right rose for the climate and size. The plants were healthy and they like their new place in my zone 8 garden. I can't wait for their fragrance and beauty to bloom!
I ordered 6 expensive roses from Heirloom Roses. 5 of them had disease. Then when I complained, they tell you the the roses are under warranty but they make you send pictures of them and what happened; which is fine. But once they realize the roses were a bad batch, they want you to write like an essay on each one of the roses with pictures. What they are doing is pretty rotten. The process is so cumbersome especially if you placed a big order that you just give up. Don't do business with them they are a fraud!
Sue, I'm sorry to hear that five of your roses were not up to our standard. We guarantee that our roses are disease free and this is covered under our warranty. We stand behind the quality of our plants. Any diseased plants should have been replaced. I apologize that this was not resolved immediately the first time you contacted us. Please contact us at info@heirloomroses.com so that we can resolve this for you. If you already sent photos or have a claim number please include that in the email and let them know Robin referred you. We will do everything within our power to regain your trust and confidence in our roses. - Robin
There are roses we've had in the fire here or at previous homes, and since we lost our home and over 92% of our trees to wildfire we are working to replace trees and flowering plants that we had. During a salvage logging several rhododendron were lost as well. We are just getting the plants into the ground but hoping they will restore some of the beauty we have lost since the fire, as the County is giving us grief about replacing our home. As a beekeeper, I am anxious to have have enough of a nector flow to keep my replacement colonies alive and thriving.
Answer: I bought from Heirloom Roses because of the amazingly beautiful selection of roses they offer plus their customer service is beyond excellent.
Answer: I live in 8b and prune in November. Watch the weather as they should tell you when six weeks before the first frost happens. I prune again in April after the last frost and before the buds turn red and swell.
