Terrible

Terrible. I placed a big order, over 500$, and it took them 10 days to tell me they didnt have the inventory to fulfill it. I spent the money and couldnt reallocate it over the holidays on other sales. They did offer a 10 site credit! Thanks a lot
Dont buy expensive or nice things from them. They dont deliver. The same thing happened to a friend. They are basically selling things before they actually have the inventory.

Ive had so much problems with hautelookover the years. Every time I have big orders. Hautelook always seems to forget 1-2 items in my order. Every time I called them or email them about my missing item(s). They always make me feel like I am lying to them. I am so frustrated with hautelook right now. On my last order with them before I closed my account and told myself I will never buy anything from hautelook again. On September 12,2017, after several email back and forth. I ended up a Marc Jacobs bag less and never got a refund. I spoke to supervisor Jennifer and she said in my record it showed I had to many claims and she will not authorize my refund. I am so piss off and can not do anything about it. Hautelook never responded back to my last email. In the end I closed my account with them and loss $100(+) dollar. Bag less too.

I love hautelook

I love hautelook. There are tons of items sold on this website that I couldn't get where I live because they just don't carry ahlf of the brands and/or items in my small hometown, for that I'm grateful. Even us small town gals like to wear nice clothes and carry fancy handbags lol.
Many people I know shop on the site and have had great experiences. Check it out, they have amazing deals on tons of items from scarfs, sweaters, shoes, to jewelry.

I absolutely love Hautelook customer service. Sure, they aren't open on the weekends but I just spoke with them and they were so accommodating about issues I had with returns. I could tell that they take customer service seriously, unlike other companies who don't care about the customer, just about the money. I had an issue with a return and was about to swear off Hautelook completely but they took such good care of me so I will definitely use them again. They don't advertise the 21 day return policy very clearly so just be aware of that if you want to return an item. Other then that - I'm completely and totally satisfied!

Purchased a dress that arrived in time for Christmas. It didn't fit. Requested a return that cost about $30 but worth it for a $300 dress. Took it to the post on January 3rd. Heard nothing for over a month. It still hasn't been processed and it is February 13. They should return your money faster than that. That should be disclosed during the purchase and returns process.

My first order from hautelook.com arrived without a problem, however, my second order - a pair of women's leather boots, did not. Instead I received a pair of men's boots with no packing slip. I called hautelook and was told I have to ship these back and then i will be refunded but I will not receive the boots I have been waiting weeks for! I am really upset as I was so looking forward to my new boots for a trip I am going on. So one of two orders did not make it to me- not a good record so far!

When you receive Damaged Merchandise, you would expect a refund, and a Return Label, wouldn't you? Not so with this Company. No responses for weeks regarding a problem. I am not the only one I know of who has had this problem. Do Not waste your hard earned Money on this site.

Well i am a new customer i've made about 8 orders, well not that new haha. My experience has been very good, I have always recieved my order(item) before the date listed, The packaging is cute and neat, and they have excellent communication. I don't know why more people haven't heard of this site :(. I do highly recommend this site especially if your on a budget!.

A friend of mine bought from here when they first started and had a really bad experience. Recently others I have known have bought from them and got some really great deals. I joined a month ago and they really have got better I think. Solid deals and their bags in particular are much cheaper than retail.

I have been a HauteLook customer for years. I used to be able to get a lot of cute things in the past, with a few screw-ups along the way (wrong color or completely different item) But recently, I have noticed a lot more of these screw-ups. I ordered some makeup from the Mirenesse sale, and ordered 3 different shades of eyeshadow, and got 3 of the same color. Then I ordered some plain black pants and got some goofy looking circus print ones instead. Thankfully I was able to take the pants back to Nordstrom rack, feeling a bit stupid trying to return a completely different item than what was on the receipt... but the girl told me it happens 'all the time'... And unfortunately the makeup was a final sale, so I got screwed there.
And lately, the styles of clothing on these sales is just meh. I can't find anything I like anymore. Everything seems so ugly. Oh, and those Bucco shoes they keep selling are pure crap! They fall apart first time you wear them, ugh.

Bought a Gucci wallet on sale from them. Seller claimed origin price is $695. The price tag in wallet shows the origin price is $495. I called seller twice and the agent needed to talk to her manager and promised to call me back, they never did.

FRAUD ALERT
November 7, 2018

I got a fraud alert on my debit Visa card. Someone had stolen monies totaling $870.00 from my account. I had the card disabled but the damage is already done. I talked with my bank and they are doing their investigation but told me to contact the company directly to try and get them to refund the money. But this company won't answer their phone. You get a recording saying that all their order review specialists are busy and to leave a message. That they will contact you shortly. I did that over 2 days ago and no one has called me back.

If something is on sale on Hautelook, it is on sale somewhere else on the Internet. Sometimes even cheaper. I would say probably only 1% of the items are actually a deal. When you order from her and have to deal with shipping cost and a very long wait for you get your order, if you ever do.

I ordered Ugg boot for my daughter on 11/*******. I wash unable to checkout until my time limit was over and I lost the selection. I then called in and had a rep assist me with purchasing a pink flamingo Ugg with a $15 discount. Although it was not the color I wanted, I accepted it anyway.
Well, it came today 11/25/13 and to my surprise inside the box was a mens sweater! Really after all this time? I called and was told there was nothing they could do since the sale was over. Hautelook or hautemess!

I ordered a jacket from them 2 months ago and I should have received it a month ago. I called them to find out where my purchase was and they told informed me they didn't receive enough of the item from the brand for the amount of orders they received. Even though they charged my card for the item and shipping and failed to contact me to inform me on that information once they had found out. I would have never been refunded if I had't called to complain...

I ordered almost $300 in merchandise from this company claiming to be allied with Nordstroms. It turns out that the quality of their items was very cheap and I had to return them. It was outrageous because it took nearly 2 months for them to receive the packages and provide a return to me. This is unacceptable because they charge customers as soon as they ship the item, not when the customer "receives" it. If that were the case, they would be bankrupt because their shipping is outrageously slow. Better stick with amazon that has REAL customer service and is a REAL company dedicated to providing REAL products, not scams.

I've ordered almost a dozen things from this site but the last two times have been terrible. I got $150 boots and they were a mismatch. One was wrinkled and warn and the other was perfect condition. I just received a ring today that was listed as. 10 ctw with a scratch... Diamonds shouldn't scratch so I looked into it and turns out it is from sears and listed as CZ... awesome thanks for lying hautelook...

I literally have nothing but good things to say about Hautelook. I have made 20+ purchases throughout a year or so and have only been disappointed once due to a snag on a sweater I purchased, but I contacted customer service and let them know what had happened- they sent me a return label, I printed it out, shipped it right back to them & had my refund within 2 days. I think all the bad reviews are coming from people who are disappointed in the shipping length. I am not a very patient person myself, but I haven't ever had to complain about the shipping time. It states on their website that shipping lengths will vary due to the fact that the goods are not being shipped directly from the Hautelook warehouse, meaning that they have to wait for companies to ship the goods to them and then after they recieve then, they ship to the consumer. I've gotten so many incredible deals that I honestly didn't even mind having to wait. I give them an A++++++.

Their customer service is the worst and I cannot believe Nordstrom's is a part of this site. I ordered a product and after multiple calls to customer service they said that the product was short shipped. Online customer service is worse than calling. They first said my product was shipped and I should file a claim with UPS, then they said I ordered a watch when I really ordered a cigar cutter for my dad. Needless to say it didn't make it for father's day. Over a month and a half later I still don't have the credit for the order they cancelled. I contacted Nordstrom to help since I purchased on their card and they said it was out of their hands. I am so disappointed and angry because I am out money and I don't see them crediting my account. I am sticking with ruelala.com.

I ordered my stuff a month ago. They cancelled my order a month after they took the money out of my account. Now they have refunded me half the money and cancelled my whole order without notice. If you are going to over sell you should notify your customers and refund all of the money. Do not order from them.
