I wonder if anyone that gave a positive review actually used this company. I originally called this company thinking they were associated with AVAST. They are not but they lead you to believe that they are. I cannot believe I was so stupid. I paid $179.99 for one years service. The tech that was supposedly cleaning up my system was nice, but that is the only good thing I can say. After a very long time, over 1 1/5 hours, my system was supposed to be cleaned. Well, after logging off and logging back in, it was actually worse and just as slow. I have contacted my credit card company and they are trying to stop the sale.

Again, I'm very grateful & pleased with the professionalism of the individual working for Guruaid who worked diligently and I may say with great patience to resolve the problems that I had with my computer. The problem was self generated when I opened a specific email that I questioned, however, I opened it anyway. I'm happy to say that originally I opted for a two (2) year plan. Now in retrospect I should have taken a three (3) year plan. Having said that I'm seriously considering taking the third year. As an organization they have been very pleasant to work within resolving my problems.

The service was 100%. The people are very friendly and took there time to explain everything in great detail. The tech who helped me was very helpful. I am not a computer person and they made me feel at ease. I would recommend them anytime.

As hopeless as I am with computers, it was with great relief and satisfaction that I was able to put my trust in the capable hands of someone like Rakesh who pleasantly and effortlessly guided me through the nightmarish task of putting right my new laptop. Top notch!

Guru Aid is awesome. I've been a customer for maybe 3 years now and they never fail to help me with my computer problems whether they are simple or complex. I would recommend them to anybody. Sajid Shaikh was especially helpful today as he not only fixed my computer problem but showed me how to fix it myself if a similar thing ever happens again.

I fell for the " first up" on a google search when trying to reverse a suspicious renewal bill from AVG ( I had told them NOT to renew but got a MAstercard withdrawal anyway.) They politely claimed to fix it for me. At least an hour and a half later, yes, promises were made to refund, new ( it turned out it would have been free) Microsoft protection installed, and clean up/ tune up would be done. They smoothly got $100 U.S. out of me by sharing my computer site and clicking the Pay Now for me and I was caught., as I had provided myMC #. BUT, they did cleanup junk and my computer works better, faster. I realized after the fact that I could have done it all myself for free. Instead I'm out $136 Can. Lesson learned.

I had a problem with Firefox - phoned Guruaid and they sprang into action - taking a reasonable amount of time to put everything right. Also cleaned up my machine - deleting loads of unnecessary programmes. I feel confident that my machine is now working well and to its full capacity. I also feel confident in using them again.

Excellent service. I had some serious problems with my operating system preventing me from downloading Autocad. Issues solved. It must have taken a while to work out the problems, but the technicians kept at it and were always polite and helpful, all four of them! I recomend these guys to everyone.

I have had guruaid for sometime now and everytime i use them i get absolutely fantastic service. Their staff is always right on and good at what they do. Even for me a computer stupid person. Thanks to them i look computer smart.

The service that I received today, much like every time I utilize GuruAid, was very professional and to the point of meeting my needs. The technician was excellent at getting my computer cleaned up and back on-line with my expired Internet Protection from Kaspersky.

I have been with GuruAid for 2 years now. Every time I have called, I receive nothing but courtesy, patience and very knowledgeable technicians. My service today was provided by Bishwajeet Bose where I experienced the same. He accomplished all of what I had hoped. I would recommend GuruAid to anyone who needs a computer technician support. Guru Aid told me that all of my listed issues would be resolved and "not to worry". This was, of course before I paid for the service. After of their doing whatever they were doing I still had the same issue with Microsoft. I asked for a refund and they kept putting me off, and saying they were further trying to resolve the issue. I even spoke to the supervisor and he gave me a run around. I finally hung up, called my credit card service and disputed the charges. I was fully refunded!
