Don't believe ANY of the positive reviews, they are fake and it you read carefully you can tell. I needed help with a BSOD after Windows 10 installation, so I looked up windows 10 customer service since they are providing it free with this software and almost immediately an Indian sounding rep answered the phone, already highly suspicious, but the fact that he wanted my full name, phone number and email before he helped me was even worse. But I gave him an old email and my other cell which isn't actually on anymore so I'm ok on that part. I allowed him to help me get the laptop booted up into safe mode which in turn showed me that my previous system restore that failed had finally worked effectively solving my issue, however, he still wanted to be sure and wanted to have me connect to the Internet directly and allows him to "share" my screen with guru aid, I let him know how that would take a while and he promised to call back soon to finish... then I went online and did research on guru aid... NOTHING BUT COMPLAINTS OF SCAMMERS! They are very nice and sound very knowledgeable but they are not real techs and falsely represent the other companies they pose as. VERIFY YOUR REPS! Or you may end up like others who have lost money, time and control over their own computers when connected online.

BEWARE!
I get annoyed at people that fall for obvious scams but i fell for this one!
My Norton protection was playing up and i thought i was calling Norton with my issues but nooo it was these scammers. Anyway thinking am through to norton and guru are who they use for technical issues i allowed them remote access of my PC. Whilst remotely accessing my PC there were certain issues i was not to happy with but let go due to the fact that i thought i was dealing with Norton.
Anyway to cut long story short as soon as i was able to gain access to the internet i looked these folk up and panicked at the reviews. Seeing as i was now able to go online i actually got through to the real folk at Norton and explained and asked if these people were anything to do with them which of course they replied no to and gave me a reference number to state once i had contacted my bank to delete cards etc. I have managed to cancel cards thankfully but unfortunately their fraud department is shut for the night so will have to try again tomorrow to try to cancel the payment.
PLEASE DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH GURU.
They are scammers and i am amazed that they are still able to function online as such.
I am very up on scammers but this one seemed so legit as in i thought i was calling Norton.

I am posting this review in the vain hope that it will save at least one person being scammed by them.

My phone call was answered promptly and my issues resolved in the time frame that they quoted 40-60mins. Very professional service.
