Eventhough I have above average computer skills, site is not designed user friendly. They colected $1.00 from my American Express for membership but when i tried to use my card for setting account, i got an error message stating we dont accept Amex. It was good enough for them to take the free dollar but not for payment :(( (((

Why all the negative posts? Check out the link! Woah.
Who ever runs this site could learn a lot from eBay. I tried to update a change of my email address & it is impossible. No response from the people running the site, if there is anyone managing the site at all.
I enjoy collecting historic military firearms. I take great care in reviewing all the information provided by the seller. I been seriously cheated about 20 % of the winning actions. Seller misrepresented items or fail to give complete information like serial numbers do not match. If I want an item I will bid a full market price. Most items sell for much more than I can find them at Gun Shows. This is not the place to find high grade collector firearms. The skill and attention to detail it takes to make sure one is getting what they want takes the fun out of it. May be OK for shooter guns but you will pay top dollar. Gunbroker does not allow retractions like eBay. They also do not provide you the bidders information that let you see if shill bidding is likely occurring. There is no customer support from my recent experience. I getting too old for the level of stress it takes to use Gunbroker. I do not think it is worth voting for Hillary to put Gunbroker out of business. I do wish eBay sold collector firearms.
You should not do business with GunBroker. They are unethical. If you are ripped off by one of their sellers, they will blame you. If you post a bad rating about a seller, they will give you a bad rating and remove the bad rating from the seller. Regardless of the facts. They don't make money from buyers, they make it from sellers. Buyer beware. I have been ripped off twice. Gunbroker could care less. I will not do business with them.
I bought over 20k on through gunbroker and sold over 10k in last year. I bid on an optic, and had emergency back surgery. I wasnt able to fullfil transaction. Offer to paypal seller but he declined. Demanded Money order. Not sure how I could drive to bank when i cant even walk. I sent him $35 relist fee.
Gunbroker terminated my account for that 1 infraction. Seller denied that I sent money.
Their feedback system is crap and only benefits high volume sellers.
To tell you the truth, I have probably conducted 2 dozen transactions on GunBroker and have only been marginally dissatisfied three times... and one of those was most likely due to my miscommunication. A lot can go wrong between buyers and sellers and it doesn't take much to overturn the cart... you just have to do your homework and establish contact with the seller so they realize they are dealing with a living human being. What disturbs me about GunBroker is that the site seems to have been taken over by the greediest bastards in the hills. Things are no longer reasonable, rational or affordable on this site anymore. For example, an 1887 Winchester 12 ga sold in a range of $400 to $700 dollars in 2015. Today the sellers are demanding $1800 to $3500 for a long gun with no real demand... so where are these market forces coming from you ask... that little quadrant in the brain called "GREED". Check the firearms books... these prices a four times the actual appraised value. Same with a Colt Python or Anaconda. Selling and buying guns is unfortunately being destroyed the way Reggie Jackson, Tim Allen, Jay Leno and Barrett-Jackson have destroyed the collector car hobby. And also unfortunately, there are idiots out there that will pay these prices because they don't know what they are doing or just plain have more money than brains so they don't care. Me... I'm out... the sellers on GunBroker can stick it... I'll find my arms in other ways and keep my money to provide for my family.
I used gun broker for one month and made a couple mistakes on items I was trying to sell. Instead of letting off with a warning the told me that I could not reactivate my account. On top of all that they were trying to charge me for an item after they took the item down for bi. I would give these guys a 1 out of 5. There are plenty more places you can sell or buy guns from.
Buyer beware on Gunbroker. Sellers with (A+*******) are you kidding me? THESE ARE SHILL BIDDERS! It's like kill ratio boosters on Call of Duty. Someone bids on their item and it appears the bidder might win that bid at an auction price? NOPE! A shill bidder comes in and boosts the price right to the amount of the max bid. To ensure top bidder pays his max of course, or to ensure he meets the reserve. OHH so what if you bid LOW you ask?. And you're still winning the item? Shill bidder outbids your max bid. Seller keeps the item... then re-lists it tomorrow for the next SUCKER. Each shill bid counts as a (A+*******) to the douchbag seller. Don't be a sucker guys. Gunbroker makes money off this process so they could give two $#*!s about the buyer. If you report this type of stuff to them they are rude and they blame YOU the buyer (the person with the money) As far as I'm concerned their activity is mostly dishonest "PAY ME NOW and ILL GET BACK TO YOU LATER" type of business. I have found better deals on regular gun store websites and even free shipping. I wish I had found this site first before ever messing with gunbroker. I thought they were better than that.
I've been trying to register with Gunbroker for 10 days and it is exceeding difficult and their CS is simply non-responsive. That is, their do not reply to CS support emails. I've decided I can take my business elsewhere.
I had never heard of SWS Cowboy ammunition in 44 "Magnum". This is maybe a target load. Would not use it for self defense or hunting. Has the recoil os a. 32 long. No xxxx. I paid for it, received it, and now have no recourse. No returns. I had previously had ten successful purchases from honest people on gunbroker. Then one $#*! and absolutely no support from gunbroker. I am done with this substandard, ripoff operation. I am ashamed that they are from my state as me. Located 30 miles away. Good luck talking to them on the phone or in person. For your own good, stay away from these overrated, understaffed ripoffs that only respond to sellers.
The owners are so greedy they focus on sales only. I'm all for making a profit, but provide support for the jerks that rip off the good customers. Just know that every time you send cash to a seller that if you don't get what you think you bought, you are screwed. GB will not help you, period.
The customer is always right but gunbroker is paid by the sellers. Where does that leave the buyers? In the wrong no matter what.
I have been a member of Gun Broker for many years buying and selling firearms with perfect
Feedback from the buyers and sellers.
Now they tell me that I proved that I don't want to do business with them, and canceled my account and it was my doing the cancelation. They say that they will renew it if I get in touch with them telling them I will never do that again. Well there is no way to contact them, so how do I do that? I even was a supporting member as to
Have payed money to them. Don't be fooled stay away!
Barrett Weinberger is a non paying bidder.
Beware
Won a 32 colt single shot rifle( a Walnert Filbert) that booked at about 280.00. The clown seller did not put a reserve on it so I got it for 83.00 dollars instead of hiding from me like a little kid he should of answered the phone and said hey guy I'm sorry I messed up by not putting a reserve on this and I just can't sell it for the 83 bucks. The last gun I bought on GB the seller refused to email a tracking number and told me he couldn't be bothered with sales that merely totaled out at 1100, 00 dollars. So what is GB? It has become a place that faceless psycho dealers frequent because the owners of the site have refused to police it
This site offeres no buyer protection or support. No phone number listed to help. SELLER shipped me a ar10 that did not cycle or operate correctly at $950. I returned to him and had to pay the shipping upfront. DID NOT HEAR FROM SELLER FOR OVER 3 DAYS AFTER HE SIGNED FOR PACKAGE! I emailed GunBroker and filed a fraud claim( no way to call a person), to which they responded to me to wait an additional 5 days and they sent the seller an email... ARE YOU SERIOUS? The only light at the end was the seller finally did send the refund in the mail and included 25 of 60 dollar return fee, which was why my issue is with the site and not the seller. I am happy he did the right thing and did not stiff me. B rating for seller, F for Gunbroker. They claim to offer a $500 insurance warranty on every purchace, thats bs! HORRIBLE idea to do business where you have to mail a check/certified check/money order to a stranger and hope they have what they say they have. Do yourself a favor, buy in a store that is local to you where you can resolve issues like this. I was lucky to get a refund, but will NEVER risk it again. This lesson cost me a little over a month frustration (very expensive), A TON of patience, and about $75 dollars in shipping fees and FFL transfer fees...
I won a bid on gunbroker.com, and the vender charged my card twice and refused to credit my account on the second charge. After bringing this to the attention of gunbroker.com, and providing feedback on their site about the vender, that articulated the situation and the venders refusal to credit my card, gunbroker.com terminated my account without providing a reason. It simply is not worth bidding on gunbroker.com and doing business with their associates.
Bought a few guns through them and never really had any issues. That was because I never really had any problems. Most of the dealers were fine to deal with when there were no issues. In my last transaction, I bought a "new" Glock. When I got it I couldn't find the extra backstraps ( I could have misplaced them) so I contacted Glock to see if I could get some replacements. No problem, except that they informed me that although I may have purchased a gun I thought was new and unfired, Glock considered it used because it had been shipped by them three (3) years earlier and was already out of warranty. When I contacted Gunbroker, the idiot that contacted me pointed out an obvious typo in the email I received from Glock and basically told me to take a walk. I then replied pointing out that the discrepancy was a typo, my communication was ignored.
Since then I have checked my local dealer prices and they're basically the same or very close.
Save yourself some grief, deal locally and ignore these scam artists.
Answer: Asking the wrong guy, will never return to that site, quite pleased with Auction Arms
Answer: One can hope the FEDS would shut them down you and every one else that uses them is in serious peril from the web site owners. They are the most unethical people you will find, In for the quick buck and non existant customer service. PLEASE try other sites to conduct your legitamite business on GB stinks.
Answer: I would absolutely look locally, ask a policeman where they would recommend you shop or google gun dealers in your area and then check the reviews. Under "no" circumstance would I suggest you do anything with GunBroker except delete, block and ignore. Run form them. Integrity does not exist here. My guns were withdrawn within a week or so of listing and now almost a year later they are still trying to access funds from my credit card. These people are not to be trusted with your personal financial information. Unless of course you enjoy drama, problems and working with people of questionable ethics.
Answer: I paid my seller within hours but he did not like the closing bid so he added a to high shipping. He relisted and sold for more $ and GB branded me a non payer.
Answer: Part of their scam
Answer: How many ways can you spell scam
