Asked to be refunded for this trash service and they refuse.
Stealing from consumers.

When I first started using the grocery delivery it was relatively easy, and orders would usually come within the time frame that they were supposed to. Fast forward 9 months, and they rarely have openings within the next two to three days, and more often than not they do not show up when they're supposed to I've had to cancel and reorder things because my order never showed up and the lady at the 1-800 number said it might not show so it's better to just have to reorder wait another few days. The customer service has gotten really bad with them just saying oh sorry it's just high demand, when another customer service agent said that they just didn't have drivers in the evenings at my store so who knows what the real issue is. They're always out of stock on things too, frequently they'll have the item in stock when you add it but then you'll get an email that you have all these things unavailable right as the order is coming. Look elsewhere for grocery delivery.
My first time trying to order groceries from Walmart and I can tell you. Bad experience, they text message like 7 times and then provide an update that the groceries were delivered but guess what no groceries at the front door. Very terrible service. If I can give you guys zero stars I would.
I pay for the delivery service annually but it is rare that I don't have an issue with the delivery. 2 times in a row the driver just didn't show up. The 1st time I finally went and picked it up. The next time it was finally delivered around 8pm after I called all day. Today, I got a message that my order was returned to the store. Because of health issues I need these services. I wish Walmart would get this service to be efficient.
Things seemed to be fine until it got to be around the holidays. It seems they can't keep up with orders when it gets busy. Take my advise, do not order groceries from them on or near a major holiday. They are totally unreliable. Since October 31st (Halloween) I've made 8 orders, and 4 of them had to be cancelled because they were delayed. I have Instacart as well, and have never had a problem with them. I was even able to have things delivered on Thanksgiving day. Why is this not possible with such a large operation as Walmart? With this latest order, it's been 24 hours and I have not received my order, nor have I received a refund or even a confirmation of a cancellation or refund despite calling customer service 3 times. They just give you the run around. I used to subscribe to Walmart plus, but I'm done with them now. I cancelled my subscription today. If you're really counting on a grocery delivery, and if it's really something important, don't count on Walmart.
I received another customers order. I never received mine and had to change my dinner plans. Can't stress enough the importance to make sure and check the bags before delivery. We use this for convenience and after a long day at work it was very disappointing. In the past I have received my items and someone else's to. Their was no way to contact the driver to tell them after delivery. Pay more attention when you drop items off! Not using again.
Accustomed to multiple missing items and poor substitutions. Today no delivery after waiting around 5 hours after order expected and multiple calls for updates. Now told I have to call once again tomorrow to get a refund. Do not waste your time
Walmart used to substitute delivery items that were out of stock. Now I can't even get eggs or hamburger buns. This has happened before. A complaint was put in, but to no avail. They keep dishing out $10 codes to appease your dissatisfaction. I now have to go into the store get what I ordered. What good is delivery?
I joined Walmart+ with the promise of free same day delivery.
What a total waste of time!

This is a place to rate Walmart GROCERY delivery service! So many negative reviews are for non grocery items, including reviews about the quality of a non grocery item. I have never been one to sing Walmart's praise, yet I must do so now. In Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, I have been using Walmart s grocery delivery service for three weeks on a Month free trial (never intending to pay $98 a yr or the low monthly fee after).
I have made at least ten orders and have only had a few issues. Those were with the third party delivery service. Regardless, I simply logged into my account and received a refund in less than five minutes.
On one occasion Walmart didn't have my five lb bag of chicken so they sent me a ten lb bag at the same price!
Totally worth trying out and risk free!
I will be paying to keep this service! They have spoiled me into it!
I am disabled and on a low fixed income. I have depended on Walmart.com to deliver groceries to me since before the pandemic. I don't know what is going on now(10/2022) But I had an order cancelled three days in a row recently. No one took responsibility, I spent hours on the phone trying to correct the situation to no avail and a a lot of frustration. It's the 4th day, and I'm waiting on that grocery delivery to ffnally be delivered. Cross your fingers!
I thought this would be so wonderful! Groceries delivered for the $98 a year plan. Also non grocery items can be bought and delivered, but that is, while included in the fee, more reliable.
I have made many orders for the groceries, and probably 90% of orders have at least one item missing or "out of stock". Often up to half my orders are "out of Stock". I asked them once why they keep putting things up for sale if they aren't in stock! (no answer). But what kind of service constantly sells things that they don't have in stock? You'd better not rely on Walmart because they don't deliver with their delivery service!
Now, the second major drawback - they automatically insert a $7 tip for their drivers! WHAT? Why am I paying for delivery and have to still pay for delivery? I thought they wanted to compete with Amazon. Amazon doesn't try to force you or even entice you tip the driver. Let The Buyer Beware!
Online customer service agents for Walmart, monkeys could have done better. I will never shop online Walmart again. It started three days ago when my groceries was delivered and five things were missing. This was the beginning of a Horror Story. So they gave me promotion codes because of the missing food. Over the course of the next three days it was horrible. The promotion codes did not work. I called back 10 times so I can tell them the problem. No one listened! One guy kept me online for 40 minutes and he came back and told me I was scammer. I will never ever order anything from Walmart again ever as long as I live Amazon here I come Amazon Prime you can soak Walmart idiots they still owe me $50 of my own $$.
I cuss every time I have to place a delivery order. It's a new depressing surprise every time. Just waiting until my 1 year subscription is over so I can switch to my other local grocery store. Walmart obviously has the market figured out - they just don't have the online technical know-how to compete. They have the $$, but maybe not the passion? Anyway, I regret my $100+ commitment and will never trust their brand again (online ordering).
My wife and I had 2 separate incidents of being infected with Covid... So... A month PLUS with out being in the General Population... As of today... Wal-Mart delivery system is sitting BETWEEN 20 and 25% of actually getting our groceries delivered.
It was only by the grace of God we still had meat in the freezer and canned food in the the pantry... With most fails on their part... Protein has been peanut butter.
I appreciate the fact that Walmart does deliver there are many times that I can't get out so it's a big help to me. I do wish they would have a cart that they hauled the groceries inside with. I live in an apartment for stories up with an elevator and I know it's a hassle for them but they will come up with one load go back down come up again it would just be more helpful if they were stocked with some kind of carts I have had one bad experience with them. My order was placed 24 hours ahead. The delivery time was 1 pm. I never received the order but got a call from Walmart explaining they had no drivers for that day or the next. I decided to never use delivery again. I only used it because I am old and have car problems. The town I live in has no Taxi service so I rely upon delivery.
Milk was sour. Had to pour it out. Two items were not delivered even though I was charged. I had to call to get a refund. In an attempt to save some time, grocery shopping became even more of a hassle. I will not be using Wal Mart's delivery service again.
Due to missing food, I am no longer going to use Walmart delivery. I am disabled and depend on that service. Today my Walmart delivery order was missing some important food items, presumably given to someone else, since I have received other people's orders on many occasions. Right now money is really tight so that food was carefully budgeted and is needed. Walmart will issue a refund, but that takes up to 10 days, and I need to replace the items asap. This store is incompetent and I'll no longer be a delivery customer.
Ordered $300 in groceries. Had over $50+ in unavailable items. Charged for these items with no way to contact walmart for refund. After spending $300+ every week. I will be taking my bisiness to Costco from now on. Buyers be aware
When the service first started I thought it was worth it to become a walmart plus member and get my groceries delivered. It hasn't worked that way - it's seems like false advertising to me! The web site lets you reserve a day and time for delivery but they don't usually come close to honoring it and you are stuck hanging around for hours waiting for your groceries. Certainly not worth it!
Answer: Non existent. You get a refund - no redelivery when they screw up. Worthless.
