I've been using the delivery service since it was introduced. This past year has been a nightmare of anxiety about my groceries. 1 out of 4 will not be delivered/delivered incorrectly.
You call the store. They blame the delivery company. But as a consumer you order from Walmart so they are ultimately responsible. Never any feedback on the surveys. No follow up on emails.
Attached a photo from yesterday. Frozen foods melting in a vestibule open to all. Driver did not ring apartment or call cell. All information is in delivery instructions.
First time, I was missing items with no contact to substitute. Went to the store myself that day and found the items staring right at me. Second time, I got my neighbor's order then within an hour, my delivery was there and the neighbor's was missing. Neither of us know how this happened. Third time, my order is delayed past the window of two hours and the site won't allow me to cancel unless I wait to receive them then go make a return. On top of that, the last time I politely addressed my concerns with a human at customer service, they said "just keep the stuff. Were used to it". Uhm, that is theft. We also live in a gated community with large numbers next to each garage door. My gosh. Just sh** can the whole delivery roulette ordeal and start over. I will gladly just stick to better food at a delivery premium instead of walmart+. If it's free, it is worth what you paid for it!
Driver never dropped off package obviously took the picture in thier trunk and are a thief.
Walmart needs to provide a way to rate this dishonesty better instead or just replacing shipment in 3 days. I was still robbed and want justice.
What other word describes paying for a service ($99 per year membership fee), then not receiving your grocery orders when you are supposed to or at all, next being forced to cancel the order on something you already paid for, and finally being told you can't get your money back for 3-5 days or longer? Time after time! And their policy is not to issue
A refund if you cancel your membership due to their failure to do what they said they'd do. Can you imagine how much customer money they are tying up? And don't you wonder how they are using it to make more $$$? I believe it's time for a federal consumer fraud investigation and class action suit against Walmart. Too many vulnerable people like myself are being unduly stressed and taken advantage of if the reviews are to be believed. What a terrible thing to do those who need home delivery of their food, a necessity to live. Shame on Walmart
Stay away. These people can't get an order right or delivered to the right address, then they take up to 10 days to refund your funds while they blame it on your financial institution which isn't totally true, so basically as long as they get you to order they have those millions of dollars in collective funds to invest with daily and get richer daily while you have to chase down your delivery that never arrives. It's the biggest scam around and I can't wait until someone sues them for wasted time and plain frustration or deceptive practices or even for tying up funds someone might otherwise need to buy groceries that again, never get delivered.
I ordered grocery delivery which was cancelled due to weather conditions. They still charged my card though. 7 days later I am still waiting for a refund. They gave me a coupon code to compensate, but it doesn't work. When I log into my account it now shows that I cancelled. I didn't. I then tried to reorder and now there are no delivery times available even 6 days out. Nothing but a stressful situation. Not worth the trouble. I just want my account closed at this point. I would never order from Walmart again.
My last three orders were delayed. Not by hours either, I mean days. Support will assure you repeatedly that. If you stay home it will be there by end of day but Walmart delivery is not reliable at all. I'm going to stay with Instacart.
Walmart delivery sucks... I am a handicapped person and purchase three cases of drinks that are very heavy and the idiot driver leaves them at the top of my driveway, too heavy for me to lift. Could have Brought it by my front door but no... he leaves it in my steep driveway and causes me to ask a Neighbor to come and help me get it into my house. This is not the first time that's happened. I don't think I'm going to buy these from Walmart any longer... I'll find another supplier that at least brings it to my door. Shame on Walmart.
Walmart really needs to end it's relationship with Door Dash. They should have their own delivery vans and employees. The people delivering orders are the bottom of the food chain at best. They can't find a house despite two separate addresses, many times the order is never delivered. The customer service is a joke. Walmart is a great company in general but allowing Door dash to take them down is a disservice to share holders and customers. Do better.
Ordered a pack of diapers that I really needed for my newborn. Upon ordering it did not give me the option to leave a gate code for my apartment. I provided my phone number since it said if anything came up with my order they would call. I got a text saying the delivery was attempted and would be tried again later, then got another message saying my order was cancelled. How hard is it to call and me provide the gate code to sit it at my door? I won't ever use this service again.
Unfortunately they don't let you know that a item is not available, I ordered a roast and hamburger so I could have one of them for dinner and did not receive either one in my order. Still gave tip, was not drivers fault. What good is this type of delivery service.
Walmart encourages customers to join their club with the promise of unlimited online and store deliveries. In reality, orders are constantly cancelled especially from their grocery delivery service. I have received incorrect orders, missing items, other people's orders and in the past two weeks three grocery order was delayed or cancelled. Horrible customer service.
The delivery driver went through my neighborhood that was blocked off while being resurfaced. He then went around the cone blocking my driveway to track tar on my driveway. Walmart is trying everything they can to avoid responsibility. Zero integrity from an unethical company.
Really bad. Half the items ordered were missing most of the time, didn't have what we needed to begin with almost all the time. Driver threw them halfway to the curb nowhere near door one time but it was better than the time they left them at a neighbor's house and he ate it. A for sure mess and won't be using them again. Had to cancel because it's more of a hassle than a convenience.
You'd think the app or website would have a half way accurate inventory. You'd think if it was in stock online, you'd get the product delivered. Nope. It seems like they don't bother looking for anything but instead just mark it as unavailable. I never allow substitutions as they sub for something completely different. A third of my order today, was unavailable.
Absolutely absurd how awful this service is. Don't bother ordering any perishable items because the dates will be a day or 2 out before it expires. Almost all produce ordered is always rotten. For a company that has enough money to buy another country, this service is a joke. I could go on but if you read all the other 1 star reviews, we've experienced it.
The best I can say is this service stinks. My order totals 93.00 and I receive 4.00 worth of items. God only knows if I will ever see anything else. Most of my items are delivered to somewhere else. I give up. I want my money back! Do yourself a favor and NEVER use Walmart delivery!
I get most of my groceries delivered because of the hours I work. I have tried Walmart multiple times, it keeps getting delayed then they finally cancel the order.
I will never try to order from them again. Aldi's is right down the road and that order is always on time or early.
Walmart should not have a delivery service if they can't make the delivery.
They claim that half your order was out of stock when it's the most basic items you can find at any store. Ginger ale was apparently not available. Cranberry juice. Eggs, bread, and cheese just completely missing. Their customer service people are all liars and lie through their teeth. They do not care how ridiculous it is for them to pretend that Walmart was out of ginger ale. Like that would literally never happen, it's a staple. These aren't rare esoteric ingredients. They will no longer refund your delivery fee either which is basically THEFT since they didn't deliver what you ordered. Absolute joke and will never use them again. There's actually not even a point because you won't get what you ordered anyway. I would be embarrassed as a company to be inept.
I know for a fact they tell their employees to choose the worst groceries possible so they don't lose money on it. They definitely choose what people in stores skip over. Any produce you get will be very small and/or almost spoiled. Some things will be beat up and some even opened. If you don't know, the driver isn't the person who picks the groceries, it's the employees.
Answer: Non existent. You get a refund - no redelivery when they screw up. Worthless.
Answer: No one wants to work. Unless you tip well they won't take delivery
Answer: Two wrong addresses in one day with picture proof in tracking that it wasn't even my address number
Answer: Exactly. That was my issue as well. It's very annoying and not very good customer service.
