Is it too much for a delivery driver to just follow, Incredibly simple, directions!?
If you can't read and speak English equally as well in the United States then you can't provide good service as a delivery driver. How can you hire a person who doesn't meet this standard?
I have discovered that delivery personnel have become far to reliant on the "App" they are provided to make accurate and timely deliveries.
I'm getting sick and tired of having to step out of my house and go find someone who should be doing their job better.
My stuff was left next-door I mean at least I live next door to the police station but still no one likes a call from the cops they never have good things to tell me well except for today. They're should bea way like with door dash or Uber eats and all of those to contact your delivery person but like only whenever they need to drop off your things
Late night, I placed nearly a $200 Walmart grocery order and received all 35 items the following afternoon right to my door. I met the delivery person & asked them to put it on my kitchen floor; great. Only one small stalk of celery was wilted; but other than that, everything was ok.
I'd have to say GREAT SERVICE... and prices were very reasonable.
I even included in my original order a $10 tip in advance to delivery person.
There's always a problem or delay when using Walmart grocery delivery or curbside pickup. Nothing is ever on time or ready when it's supposed to be and the delivery person told me I could keep one of the wrong items she delivered as an inconvenience so basically she kept the rest. What a waste of money Walmart. They delivered 4 pools to me in error when I actually ordered groceries.
I live outside Philadelphia by about an hour. I am in a fairly busy area and have excellent service from Walmart delivery. Every delivery driver is on time, gets all my items, and is very polite! Soo much better than Instacart. Also cheaper
Have used this service a number of times. Usually pleased. NOT always. They leave items out (not due to out of stock) and then offer to refund you the item(s) cost when you call Customer Care. Customer Care employees I have spoken with are immediately defensive and have a very small script to read from. No thinking, just reading. Very unprofessional, rude and poorly trained Customer 'CARE". The name is laughable. Only use for ordering regular grocery items that you can do without if they leave item out of delivery. Ordered cake for next day party. No cake! Co. Could have cared less. Had to go out to buy a cake!
Overall this is a valuable service as I am elderly, and handicapped. However, not good for produce. The shoppers just grab things. I had strawberries overripe and in a broken box so they were everywhere. I imagine this is because they are rushed but I still don't appreciate having to throw out half my fruit
First I want to say I have checked with my neighbours and no one ordered groceries. However this is third time I have had food left at my door. Not only that but large orders of 200 to 300 dollars worth. I called customer service and they said enjoy the free food and hung up. But there's some poor sap out there who is not getting what they paid for.
I learned quickly -no substitution's-place order for morning delivery-And expect that some items may be out of stock. Honestly most times orders are close to 100% complete and accurate-when an item is missing or damaged- they issue credit immediately in most situations.
The Bad-when there is a problem and a long delay in delivery, very poor communication-learned quickly best action is to cancel order and reorder -many times believe it is a lack of delivery drivers.
For me still a time saver- expect the unexpected
The benefits and on time deliveries out number the problems
Walmart has always been a great service provider as it is the best in comparison with its product, quality, price and even for customer service. They also deliver really well and quickly to home.
I have used this service x4 now, and stopped. Every single time, items are missing, they say are not in store. Not true! They are…. Just timed or too lazy to include them. YET THEY CHARGE ADDITIONAL FEES AND DO NOT REIMBURSE as in express service…esp if half of them missing! Ridiculous.
Changing the store I ordered from in the choices for my zip code…. Made a TREMENDOUS difference! Things are so much better, excellent delivery now…. Try that and see if it works for you…and even more funny, doing pickup after they shop for me, at this new store I changed to, EVERY item is in the order…. Seems certain stores just do not have good employees…
Using the Walmart app is unbelievably terrible. Their inventory is wrong while you're shopping. The locks up and shuts down. When this happens, you have to start over again, again & again. I should have check with freinds and read reviews first. All responses were like "Oh yeah, they suck bad you should use Uber eats. I could complete my order for 2 and a half hours. OMG!
They delivery my food in a trunk in hot weather and my ice cream is thawed out...yes they give me my money back...i keep complaining but to deaf ears
Online work is terrible and home delivery is even worse. You have never been treated so disrespectfully as a customer in any market in this country. After a wait of more than five hours for a home delivery order for a purchase of more than 300 dollars, I was never kept informed of what was happening with my order. After almost 6 hours I had to contact the store so they could tell me what The order would be delivered another day. When it was scheduled to deliver today December 23,2023
Junk. This was not worth $25. Cheap plastic flimsy. The box was damaged to smashed when it arrived wrapped in a plastic bag with a stamp on it. The power adapter was missing making it absolutely useless customer service won't give a refund or even acknowledge my order.
I you ever need to reschedule your delivery you will find out just how incompetent this company really is. I will be looking at other options moving forward because Walmart is full of flat out liars.
CONSTANTLY get spoiled produce.like clearly spoiled.do they even look at what they are doing? I always specify an alternate item yet they will give me a completely random item that I didn't even choose. One order which had 8 total items and 5 were substituted.again they do not bother. Customer service is a joke because they repeat scripted apologies and give you discount codes that do not work.
Another instance was where the driver insisted on taking a photo of my ID when I had no alcohol or meds.just groceries. Very questionable practice.
Nothing against the delivery drivers, whom I've never had a problem with, but I'm never ordering from Walmart again. They charged me nearly double what my order would've been in person - mostly for extra shipping, as they wound up shipping every tiny item individually. I never would've selected that option, I'd much rather have canceled those items, but they don't always give you that option. "Oh, we're out of this small packet of cat food, but we'll ship it from our warehouse several states away and charge you plenty for it. Be prepared to get single packets of cat food daily for the next month and a half." OMG, I HATE them! Instacart is expensive, but at least they always give you the option to just cancel the item, if it isn't in stock.
Orders left at the bottom of my wheelchair ramp regularly, items missing regularly, obviously damaged products delivered, expired rotten food, being asked to come to the store for refunds, just ordered milk, no milk. Now I will be on the phone for an hour trying to get a refund.
Two children under 12 put out groceries at our door while the parents watched, items dropped, jelly left and run over in the driveway, chips opened and half gone! We have it all on video! It's was at 9:00 pm on school night as well. People are grimy
Answer: Non existent. You get a refund - no redelivery when they screw up. Worthless.
Answer: No one wants to work. Unless you tip well they won't take delivery
Answer: Two wrong addresses in one day with picture proof in tracking that it wasn't even my address number
Answer: Exactly. That was my issue as well. It's very annoying and not very good customer service.
