I used the app for the first time ever. I ordered my groceries with the express delivery option on October 14th, 2021. After 2 1/2 hrs, the status of my groceries was "delayed" so I called customer service and they refunded the express delivery charge. Three hours after that phone call, I tried calling the third party number several times but it kept going to voicemail and no one was calling me back. So I called my local Walmart and the lady was able to connect me with one of the third party representatives. I asked where my groceries were and I was informed that they could not find my order in the system and would be given a callback. I received an email notifying me that my order was canceled even before the callback. When I told the lady about the charge on my card, she said it would take 5-7 business for them to issue me a refund. I had no choice but to contact my credit card service and dispute the charge which was done immediately. There was no way I was going to wait 5-7 business days for that charge to show up on my monthly statement.

Once again, this was my first time using the app and I am extremely disappointed. I understand that glitches happened and they were probably busy with orders that were in their system but I cannot accept the fact that the third party's phone number *******524) always went straight to voicemail and no one called me back after I left several voicemails in the span of 2 hours.

I used Instacart the following day and I am happy with they services.

Disappointed
January 23, 2022

Today I placed an order around 10am for a delivery at 5-6pm. Over an hour later I received a message that m y order was canceled/ I contacted the call service who told me I was flagged by the Walmart fraud department and could not place an order for another 24 hours. I did some research on line and found that I could order again using another card. After verifying this was in fact the case I attempted my order again but now the only available slots were for 50 item or less express delivery. I modified my order, paid the extra $10 and began waiting for it to arrive; now scheduled for 2pm. It is currently 4:04 pm and I have just got off the phone with a customer service rep who tells me I have to wait until 8pm and then call back if my order does not arrive. I am a nurse and this is my only day off. Not only am I expected to sit and wait all day, I am only getting half of the items I originally ordered, I am still paying $10 for express delivery, $15 for a tip, and if I want the rest of my items I will have to order them tomorrow. Very disappointing

I have never had such a terrible experience with any delivery as I have with Walmart Plus. On November 8th 2021 my order was never delivered and I was never given a reason multiple chat and multiple calls to customer service availed nothing November 9th I cancelled the order my hold was released and two hours later the hold was put back on my account waiting for the dollars to return to my account which still have not as of November 11th I had to order my groceries again I ordered $103 worth of groceries the whole day put on my account was $135 Walmart now is holding $240 of my money for $103 worth of groceries delivered

I have been a Walmart customer for years. When they began offering delivery we were ecstatic. If I could rate it a zero I would. Their door dash delivery drivers mostly don't speak English and always state they can't find our home despite me putting our address in the comments and texting the driver a pin for our address and giving them detailed directions. We live 3.6 miles from one and 4.8 miles from another. Drivers state they can't find our address and cancel our order or on two occasions have drove off with our groceries. Walmart will not replace stolen groceries despite no confirmation they were ever delivered or canceled. We had to wait days for a refund which was a huge hassle to accomplish. One order was just at $400 and the other was $314. They also don't inform you that your groceries may be in two separate deliveries from other stores which means two drivers expecting tips. They claim once the drivers leave their store they are not responsible for what happens. The managers at both stores told us to please not use delivery because they have numerous drivers steal groceries and to rate the delivery at a zero. The employers at Walmart consistently request to stop using door dash and other delivery services due to high rate of theft and poor service. Once our groceries smelled of cigarettes and covered in dog hair and her dog was in the car with her. Once a driver was extremely filthy and their car was horrid dirty. We now use Kroger click list or shop in the store. Walmart needs to re-evaluate their delivery service and the loss their customers are incurring. This could be a great benefit to the people like myself battling illness and sometimes not able to go to the store or due to time restraints with work and long hours.

I have a hard time thinking of these people as human after my experience with them, I am in a wheelchair and I am paralyzed from the waist down, I ordered groceries from them a week in advance, throughout the week they told me everything was fine, my groceries were supposed to get here between 7:00 and 8:00 p.m. they sent me a text message at 7:02 saying it would be here at 7:09 and they gave me the name of the driver, so I left everything I was doing and prepared for the driver and got the door opened, the driver never showed up I stood there in the cold, they didn't even have the decency to call they sent me a text message close to 8:00 saying it was their fault, when I asked for customer service help, I spoke to a woman I could only describe as the rudest most unfeeling customer service woman I have ever dealt with, she could not stop making smiley faces and stupid emojis during the chat transcript, I asked for her supervisor, she didn't want to give me the supervisor I insisted, the supervisor took my number said he would call me back and he never did. I am reporting them to the BBB right now and so should you when they do you dirty.

I placed an order to be delivered at 3pm. At 2:45 I received a notification of substitute items. I didn't like one but the sub link was expired by the time they sent it (which keeps happening). I called customer service (bc it happens so often, that's what I was told to do). At that point my order was ready for delivery and I got off the phone with CS. Then mins later, I got a notification my order was cancelled. Then a notification of a new order. He cancelled the entire order and rebooked me for 8am the next day WITHOUT permission. So I called the CS and tried to fix it. The woman said she couldn't rebook my spot bc they were fully booked. I said my spot was cancelled only a few mins ago. She said she could ask the store to uncancel, but transferred me and hung up. The phone rang forever, and it was the wrong number, but was connected to a different number that rang for mins. When I finally reached a person they got the manager. The manager said we can't uncancel orders (the CS transferred me for nothing). We hung up and I was frustrated. THEN I received a notification that my delivery is on the way. What?! They were fully booked, right? My order arrived- a box of graham crackers, but not the 85 other items that had been ready for delivery. They were sitting at Walmart bc it was fully booked (but not for graham crackers). That's my experience with Walmart Grocery. Ever since they changed their system I've had tons of trouble. I will say a girl named Megan was the only one that even tried to really help. She was actually pretty great, but nothing could be done at that point

Fraud and theft at its finest!

I have placed the same order three times which means they have held authorizations of over $300 and I have yet to receive one delivery. I got the service because I have Covid and was going to utilize door delivery. First order attempted (NOT) then canceled. Customer service said drivers sometimes don't show up so that's "maybe" what happened. So I reorder, another $100, delivery was delivered but not to me. Not my door not my door number so someone got all of my groceries… soooo Number three is the charm right? Order again the same day for one last slot time of 9-10 pm so I can have food. Order delivered 10:04 pm but NOT TO MY DOOR! Customer says again "sorry we will contact store and make complaint" in the best broken English possible because customer service is 12 hours ahead of us in another country! Now they have $300 of my money for 5-10 business days held as an authorization and I have nothing. If I walked into Walmart and loaded my basket up with $300 of food I would go to jail even though they have my money held, YET they can hold my money and give no purchase which is basically theft and it's legal for up to 10 business days apparently. I hope Walmart gets sucked in a black hole by Amazon and Target. They are crooked and then hire third party crooks to deliver groceries and then hire overseas customer service agents who can't speak English to say "Oh I'm so very very sorry for your inconvenience" in broken English repeatedly. Ughhhhhh…. The photos are all the authorizations they've made in two days and I have absolutely ZERO OF ITEMS ORDERED!

Walmart Delivery is the worst!
June 19, 2022

I only use Wal-Mart delivery for groceries when I absolutely have no other way or I am too ill to go to the store. I am a disabled senior citizen and was happy when delivery became an option. But Wal-Mart and by delivery association, Door Dash and OnTrac, have the worst delivery rate. I left detailed instructions on how to get into the gated community. My phone rings when they try. I get maybe 1 out of 5 orders correctly packed and delivered. In the past 5 days there have been 3 items missing from 2 separate orders. 1 frozen was left out. They refunded. The first part of the 2nd order they delivered fine but the website said they would have to ship the 2 snack items. I knew they had them in the store but I was okay with that. Then today, out of the clear blue, I receive a text saying Door Dash driver arrived with the remainder of my order. Despite being sick, I had to get dressed and I go out to the parking lot to look for the drivers because I know the numbering can be confusing. I never got a call from the gate to open it. I just got a notification next saying it had been delivered and the picture was just a pitch black pic. It is bright and sunny here so unless she delivered it to the gates of hell, I don't know where it is. Hope the demons enjoy the snacks, they are kinda salty so maybe they are torturing lost souls with the chips and not offering ice water. Lol. Anyway, I got a refund. But just don't accept that it will be shipped like they say when you order or that you will get everything you order. This has been going on for YEARS with Walmart. I'm going back to bed now. I can't even with Walmart today.

First delivery - ordered tape measure, baking pans, peeler, and a razor. Only received peeler but charged for everything, called walmart support which told me to call the store, I called the store and some lady answered asking what I ordered then told me TO TEXT HER PICTURES Of THE ITEMS then TEXTED ME BACK saying she couldn't see the items. After a few hours the order was cancelled. Eventually got refunded weeks later.

Second delivery - ordered basic groceries like ice cream, bread, pineapple, milk and a pillow. Received nothing, had to call the store AGAIN and get it refunded after proving it was never delivered.

Ordered online - vacuum and floor mat, 80$ worth of items. Got a notification against my will that it would be delivered from the nearest store, and I panicked. I received a can of cream of mushroom soup and a bag of chips. I called online help saying how terrible the store was and I wasn't going to be able to get through to them, and they told me to call the store and did nothing. I called the store, they also did nothing. It's been 2 years and walmart still charged me 80$ for items I never received.

Anyone with more money or time than me would consider this lawsuit worthy. This should be illegal.

I've used Walmart delivery since it started in my area in October 2019. It has been a series of complete dissatisfying incidents. They NEVER EVER have some of my staple groceries in stock. They do when I order but by delivery time they are out. But is that the worst thing? Not even close! There have been MULTIPLE incidents of delivery personal dropping it the entirely wrong address without even notifying me! I get the delivery message and POOF! Nothing there I mean MULTIPLE times! This last fiasco (I literally mean last because I WILL NEVER EVER USE IT AGAIN)! I ordered approximately $150 worth of groceries, changed my mind before delivery instead only spending $56 and 5 days later Walmart has yet to process this $100 back to my account - stating it's ‘the bank processing' like hell it is! I made another order for the next day and AGAIN it was delivered to THE WRONG place! They issued refund which went promptly into my account. I've started using Instacart it may be a bit more costly but worth every extra cent because I have never had ever one single issue with Instacart!

The other day I used walmart delivery service for the first and last time. I needed 18 tubs of chili for a party but they said I could only order 12 max. OK I'll figure out a way around this since I would have most of it. I had 1:45 mins to cancel which I didn't since no surprises popped up. About 3 hours after they email me saying we only have 4 of what you need and good news, it's on it's way. WTF I can't use 4 I need 18 in total not 4. I went back onto their site and It was
Going to let me order more of what they told me they don't have. Walmart never updates it's inventory and they never will, it gets you into their store in hopes of buying other items. With everything computerized, inventory should be instant. I called up to complain, they tried to buy me off with $10 which isn't much especially when you leave a tip. They asked what would it take, well for one don't waste our time have your true inventory listed so I can make a choice to buy or go somewhere else, second delete my account which you either have to call or do it through messenger chat. Which they did. If people want to order from them call them up and make sure they have everything you want. Lets make sure they have everything you want before you order otherwise you're going to get taken. I for one will never step foot into another walmart or business that family owns.

As I was writing this review this site wanted proof, I wasn't sure if I had any emails left which I didn't. I did find a apology email with a refund for the missing items, which doesn't help me much. The technology is there to update inventory daily, I'm sure they use it but we will never see it. They put mom and pop businesses out and took over, the least they could do is be of service to the community.
Do not make the mistake I made and tip the driver in advance. There is a way not to tip the driver first.

I would give this rating zero stars if possible. I took advantage of a Black Friday deal and purchased a Walmart÷ subscription. I ordered a few small bags of groceries and they were delivered by a magician because they rang the bell but by the time I opened the door they and their vehicle had vanished in thin air! I placed another order yesterday morning to be delivered at 5pm. At 5pm I got notified that there was a delay and that it would be 7pm. At 10pm I was told to cancel my order and try again. So, I reordered everything and set today ar 7pm for delivery. At 8 I got notified that there was a delay and it would be delivered by 10. I contacted customer service apparently in Fiji or someplace like that...and was told that it would be delivered by 8:45 because they were trying to find a driver. I am still waiting. I contacted customer service again and they told me to wait one more hour. At 11:30 pm I canceled again because they didn't show.

Last night they told me my order was picked up by a delivery driver but they didn't know where it ended up or who the driver was...really?!? That's competent...NOT! Tonight they told me that my order has been shopped and is ready but waiting for a driver. If they don't have drivers then they should not offer this service!

I will be calling the local store nd I will be asking for a refund for the membership dues and canceling Walmart÷. I will also make sure to spread the word before others fall victim to this scam!
