I joined Walmart+ with the promise of free same day delivery.
What a total waste of time!
I've been a member for a month now and there have NEVER been any slots available with my local store.
Same day, or even in the next few days.

Walmart, if you're reading I'm so disappointed. Not possible to give no stars or I would. The new and "improved" Walmart website is anything but. Poorly designed, constant requests to verify I'm not a robot, and resetting to change options (like tips) that you have already chosen. Walmart has had a constant problem with pricing being different (more expensive) and "out of stock" between physical store and online. I've gone to the chosen store shortly after ordering to find abundant supply of goods that were out of stock or prices for items such as milk being cheaper at the store. I've brought it to store's people's attention to no avail. The old site was bad but at least the relevance filters worked. Sick to death of having to go through choosing options only to have the page hiccup and reset everything. One would have thought that one of the biggest retailers in the world could do a much better job AND actually appear like they care about our concerns. The web designers should be encouraged to find different employment consistent with their skill sets. I suggest shelf stocking!

Horrible - deliveries left in parking lot

I have strict instructions that deliveries are to be handed to a person and not just left outside for anyone to take but most of the time now all my walmart deliveries are left out in the parking lot for anyone to take

I have been getting Walmart delivery for almost 2 years. In that time frame, up until recently, it got a solid B from me. Usually the deliveries were on time, well packed, and the driver friendly. Sometimes the substitutions were wonky, or the produce about to expire too soon, but Walmart was good about resolving those issues. Within the last 2 months, I have received only 2 of my online grocery orders. Mind you, I would order religiously from them once a week. I get a message that the order is delayed, now, each and every time, and then, poof! No update or order at all! It's like it vanishes into the cosmos. I then have to call CS back, because the system won't let me cancel the order, and then you have to wait for an eternity for Walmart to refund your money. I spend hundreds of dollars on food weekly, because I have children. I then have to turn around and spend time on the phone with customer service who then typically has to cancel my order on their end after I have waited 10+ hours, and then I have to go to Kroger or somewhere else in person, pay more, but at least I will have the groceries I need. Funny how other grocery store delivery services are not giving me these same problems. I shop at Walmart to save money, but it's not worth it anymore. I will gladly pay more to be done with this headache. This is really a shame. I was able to get a lot done by not doing my own grocery shopping for my family anymore, because it would take 2 hours - shopping, loading in car, unloading, putting up, and I shrunk that down to a 30 minute time period which was much appreciated. Now, it's not even worth it. One time due to this, I was on the phone with customer service for over 30 minutes and the matter still was not resolved. Do not use this service. Something has happened in the last 2-3 months, especially with the website and the way orders are entered etc., that has caused MAJOR problems. I have told Walmart that there is a problem, they are losing customers and money because of this, and the issues still continue. I am done. Shopping elsewhere. The headaches you get from this mess are not worth it.

Ordered grocery for delivery as you can see in the photos i ordered GROCERIES and received BOWLS. Absolutely nothing you can do on the app or site. Had to call corporate in hopes of a refund.

I signed up for 1 year home delivery service. I feel qualified to judge my experience.
Walmart grocery home delivery was awful in every way.
The quality, freshness, use by dates, damaged, wrong product or flavor, the list goes on.
After enduring a very poor grocery selection process, you are then subjected to customer service, omg! To try and resolve issues with delivery.
What a complete relief when my 1 year of a nightmare was over with this service.
I have shopped in store once since this experience. But they are no longer my go to first choice grocery store as it once was. The entire experience left me disgusted.

I don't like paying the. 50 - $1.50 more per item when shopping at other stores, but Walmart delivery is terrible. They are always out of 5-15 items on your order that are just regular grocery items. They also have to sub things out a lot. Biggest complaint is they charge your debit card for the full amount and don't credit back amount of the items you did not receive. I called customer service 5x and I could barely understand the Manager (I think it is outsourced in India). He blamed my bank. Still out $75 but gave up and just won't use the service anymore. I only go to Walmart if I HAVE to but will never go there to grocery shop. I have never been to one that was not a freak show, dirty and LONG lines.

Do not do this! Every time I have ordered its been wrong or delivered to a different address in the area. I live in a rv park and have to go around looking where they left it. So far never taken! 200$ worth of food! They have even reordered and charged me again! Don't do this. Call a friend! Lol!

I shop online Walmart groceries and the last few orders every time has substitutes that are NOT suitable but there is no way for someone to get a hold of anyone to correct this! I tried chat and contact support and both times I was ignored and hung up on because they didn't want to deal or help! This is so unprofessional and rude! Walmart you need to make the online app more communication friendly and easier for customers as this is ridiculous. You can't even have access to your order or to edit substitutes or chat to anyone about it! And I am very passionate about the environment so I get eco friendly flushable wipes but every time I order through your online service you NEVER have what I ordered and you NEVER substitute for what I asked or a suitable substitute that is eco friendly and flushable! This is very frustrating and I even contacting the driver to get a hold of someone from Walmart and even though the associate from Walmart was still at the store when I told him my situation he still told me he cannot and won't do anything and that the order is final! This is so frustrating! Walmart your customer support team is a joke and I have always been a loyal customer! This really makes me think about either switching stores completely and not shopping with Walmart anymore or to use the Instacart app instead because at least we can communicate with the shopper!

I used the app for the first time ever. I ordered my groceries with the express delivery option on October 14th, 2021. After 2 1/2 hrs, the status of my groceries was "delayed" so I called customer service and they refunded the express delivery charge. Three hours after that phone call, I tried calling the third party number several times but it kept going to voicemail and no one was calling me back. So I called my local Walmart and the lady was able to connect me with one of the third party representatives. I asked where my groceries were and I was informed that they could not find my order in the system and would be given a callback. I received an email notifying me that my order was canceled even before the callback. When I told the lady about the charge on my card, she said it would take 5-7 business for them to issue me a refund. I had no choice but to contact my credit card service and dispute the charge which was done immediately. There was no way I was going to wait 5-7 business days for that charge to show up on my monthly statement.

Once again, this was my first time using the app and I am extremely disappointed. I understand that glitches happened and they were probably busy with orders that were in their system but I cannot accept the fact that the third party's phone number *******524) always went straight to voicemail and no one called me back after I left several voicemails in the span of 2 hours.

I used Instacart the following day and I am happy with they services.

Also do your research and read the reviews please.

Awful delivery service

I use to order products from Walmart to be delivered by FedEx/UPS/USPS/Ontrac. Rarely had any issues. At some point this year, they switched me to same day delivery by local drivers. A service I don't want and I hate! There is no way to opt out of it and get normal shipping.

I have had 3 bad experiences and I have complained to Walmart corporate about it 3 times now. The latest was last night. My order of 6 items was divided into 3 parts with 3 different drivers. How inefficient is that? The app can only handle tracking one driver at a time, so I have no idea when the other 2 drivers are supposed to arrive. I have to wait around at my house for 3 people to arrive over the span of 4 hours because porch pirates are rampant around here. The app gives me wrong delivery time estimates all the time. They usually arrive 1-2 hours late. 1st part comes, 2 of the items are missing. I have to get on chat support for a refund. 2nd part comes, what is delivered is actually the part 3 order, but part 2 is marked as delivered, and the item is missing, so I have to get on support chat again for another refund! 3rd part of the order is never sent a tracking number but gets marked as delivered. So on an order of 6 items, I only received 3 of them. Now today I have to go to a store to get the missing items, which totally negates why I use online ordering in the first place.

On top of that, I was charged a "beverage container fee". Well the beverages weren't delivered in any kind of container, they were just dumped on my doormat, so that whole fee thing is a rip-off. The whole experience was stressful, infuriating, and a huge waste of my time. Unless Walmart gives me a way to opt-out of this service, I am going to stop using them and shop at Target instead.

Delivery driver named Gina does not know how to understand addresses. She ruined my whole weekend. I hate you Walmart. Your customer service lied to me over and over. First the order would be sent out then it was canceled then I get my order in 48 hours and a refund then I just get a 25 dollar credit. You are horrible. I can't believe that you are so bad at this. Then still charged me her tip. I hate you. I talked to Gina and she was very rude. I hate you. It was so important and I paid for express

Absolute garbage

$8-10 (not including tips) for a delivery that is guaranteed to fall under at least one of these
• Late
• Missing a ton of items
• Ridiculous substitution items (even if you requested that they don't get substituted. Sometimes they'll get substituted and you won't even be notified)

My last delivery was an hour late and was missing 9 items. Getting a refund for all of them was a hassle and it certainly didn't make up for the piss-poor experience and the wasted money.

Walmart cutting corners

My wife signed up for this a while back, and I got her to cancel it. You expect the orders to be wrong here and there (which they were) but that's not what I had issues with.

The delivery service itself is cut price and unprofessional. It's just freelancers in their own cars, which in my opinion is an unsafe way to carry fresh and frozen grocery products. For the money they charge, I would expect Walmart drivers in Walmart branded refrigerated vehicles.

One guy turned up while I was outside my house, so I helped him grab a few bags to get everything in quicker. The bags were mixed up all kinds of crap in his trunk (including socks) and his own shopping in Walmart bags!

Another time, when the bags were left by the driver they stunk so badly of marijuana that our kitchen stank of it for two days after we unpacked the groceries. What the driver does in their own time is their own business, but how Walmart could allow themselves to be associated with this level of unprofessional an just to save some bucks is astonishing. I don't know if the groceries stank because the driver was smoking in the car, but if so, do you want that person driving onto your driveway?

I used Walmart+ for awhile and finally gave up. Poor food quality, poor substitutions or out of stock on regular items. My daughter still uses them and they continue to screw it up. They wait a week to charge your bank account too which is ridiculous

I just read many of the previous reviews and feel surprised yet vindicated because I've experienced pretty much Every issue that these others have. What really kills me is that they ALLOW the delivery driver to Cancel the order! WTF? AND, how many times do certain items not arrive, but you see the driver smacking their lips on the potato chips that they were supposedly 'out of' as they drive off. Too bad the hiring process for these people requires only to Fog A Mirror! AMAZON delivery shines like a BEACON over Walmart's.

Totally wrong order received!

I have ordered at least twice a month from Walmarts online grocery service and always seem to have some type of problem every order! Today's was left outside at door of 20 apartment building and not at my door as requested as soon as I received text that it had been delivered looked out my door and nothing went downstairs and it was outside! Delivery driver was getting back in his van and stopped him and he took it all back and told me he was not allowed inside any buildings which is a lie because all other orders came straight to my apartment. He sent me a text with picture of items delivered and as you can see there is no case of water, case of Pepsi, and no case of protein shakes!

Constantly not delivering items… as in… they're missing… they don't show up! If they don't fill it because it's not in stock (also happens constantly!) that's one thing… but even if you get lucky enough that your items are in stock, (not usually)… then the items aren't delivered… who knows what happens to all those giant paper towels roles… and cat litter… and so many other items. In addition… it's about a 75% chance you'll get fruits and/vegetables that are old and mushy and completely inedible and not something worth paying for. I've also had orders that were to be delivered that just never were… and I had to go pick it up myself because they messed up somehow! It is complete incompetence and they must be managed by an absolute idiot. It's so so so bad. I've placed at least 30 orders in the last many months… and maybe 3 or 4 or them actually went off without an error or inconvenience. Stay away! Worst company ever! Here's a photo of my order this morning. Notice the paper towels in my order and notice the picture that the delivery driver took of the order at my door… see… no Bounty there! Not sure how you can miss a giant thing of Bounty but this happens all the time!

I live in a building for Senior citizens. Some can't drive so they order online. WHY THE HELL CAN'T YOUR DELIVERY PEOPLE GET GROCERIES TO OUR DOORS! The stuff gets dumped in the mailroom for anybody to steal and frozen\refrigerated goods go bad. When I call corporate to complain, I can't get through to anyone. I will never order from you again and will avoid shopping in person there also. Since your customer service department doesn't answer the phone, I will post this on every social media outlet I can think of.
