Disappointed with the fact that booked price seems good value then when we wanted to arrange drop off had to pay considerably higher chanrges for out of hours drop off. Opening hours are limited especially for an airport location. Won't be using you again.

J'ai été très satisfait de la location du vehicule Toyota Corola quue j'ai soigné comme si c'etait mon propre vehicule. J'ai restitué le vehicule à l'aeroport plusieurs heures avant le depart. Il était en bon état lorsque je l'ai laissé sur le parking à l'endroit indiqué lors de la prise de possession. Or, on nous demande une somme de 1400 Euros pour domage au vehicule. Durant la location aucun des 3 passagers et moi n'avons ressenti le moindre choc sur la route. Le parking jounalier etant dans une propriété privée aucun vehicule ne peut l'avoir heurté. En consequence s'il y a eu choc ce ne peut etre que durant le stationnement à l'aéroport après avoir remis le vehicule. Contrairement aux affirmations de Greenmotion je ne suis pas responsable des dommages.

Still waiting return of Pre-authorisation charge 50£. I have sent email complain but no reply.
Our flight was delayed over an hour by the time that we got to pick up our vehicle we were told they didn't have one for us and wanted to charge us $500 for a larger vehicle we went and waited outside for the shuttle to bring us back to the airport then the young lady came out and told us they would find us another vehicle and only charges $50 that should not have never happened as I had paid online prior
The guys at the desk were very friendly and had a good sense of humour. The car was in perfect condition. I had it for a week and drove over 1000 K with no issues. I dropped it off and got my deposit back in no time. They also charge less fee than competitors when it comes to driving outside of the country you rent from. Highly recommend and would drive again with them and will.

Excellent. Due to unclear circumstances my booking was transmitted to the company with a pick up time of 10am instead of 7:30. Office was closed but the representative came from home and completed entire rental transaction! Furthermore, provided endless tidbits of information that made entire stay in Iceland pleasurable and incident free.

Too long to get processed and get a car. No one was there when others and I were there early morning to return the cars. Person showed up late and number to call was not being answered.
Answer: I have used them many times, always cheapest, always very new cars, always charming and helpful staff ( Stansted Airport). Every firm will try to get you to upgrade. Buy a 3rd party policy, and just say you have your own cover. Up to now I have never been scammed. I ALWAYS inspect the vehicle before. I drive off. I take photos and make sure I get it inspected and signed off by staff when I take it back.
Answer: Speeding/parking tickets and police action are slow. They keep the deposit until they are sure there will be no problems with any of those costs. (and yeah, would be speeding fine + massive green motion fee).

I can confirm that security deposits are automatically released by Green Motion on the last day of your rental after it has been established that the rental vehicle has been returned in the same condition as it was provided, and there are no further outstanding charges. Whilst in most cases this is available again within 10 working days, unfortunately, this can take up to 30 days depending on the bank that you use. We suggest that you contact your bank as they may be able to speed this process up for you. Green Motion's policy is to use pre-authorised transactions for our security deposits, which ring-fence the amount within your account, not charge it. This pre-authorised transaction will allow us to make charges if necessary at the end of the rental, but unless this occurs no money will leave your account. Due to the nature of this transaction, the release of these funds may not show on your bank statement as a separate transaction. If you believe that you have been charged your security deposit, please contact your bank and ask them to provide proof of the transaction as a charge on the first day of your rental so that we can look further into this for you. If this amount is still not available in your account after 30 days from the last day of your rental, please contact us at escalation@cs.greenmotion.com. Answer: I believe Green Motion are a perfectly fair and respectful company. I suspect you didn't read their Ts&Cs properly. The two customers being served while I was collecting my car had also not read/understood the conditions and were caught by surprise. The representative dealt with them firmly but fairly.
