- Ordered 1 item: delivery was to be for 14 feb. Did not arrive, and no notice of any kind. - 15 Feb: receive a notice it will be received on 16 Feb. Didn't need it by then so i asked to cancel. "Can't cancel an order under 3 days of shipping date"- so my money kept by GB and the vendor and I just need to accept this. -16 Feb: will not arrive until 7PM. I'm not in the delivery area anymore, and it won't be delivered until 7PM, so no one will be able to receive it. They offered a lot of apologies, and some misdirection (reminding me how to prepare the food I don't have when I get it/if I get it) but at then end of it, my money is gone, and they don't own the problem= FAIL. The hardest part is when customer service drowns you in apologies, and "so sorry for YOUR experience, here's a discount to suffer our uselessness again for a little less money than what you spent before". At the end they're trying to sell you on a spoonful of excuses you know they themselves couldn't swallow if they had to endure the same incompetence they spill on you. It's a sales portal, and like many other sales, they're not skilled in customer service or ownership. Some of these well named chefs should be careful of brand association

After placing an order for a Birthday gift and selecting the day of delivery I did not receive the package. It was delayed over 5 days after leaving the manufacturer and perishable and Goldbelly says it's out of their hands once its shipped, then who is responsible? I'm out significant amount of $$ and received a spoiled gift. ORDER AT YOUR OWN RISK since Goldbelly does no standby anything

I did not like either of the desserts ordered. The Killer Brownies were awful. My group had 1 bite and threw them out. They just didn't taste like brownies at all. They had a very strange taste and texture. The Gotta Have S'mores were almost there, but were very dry and felt a little overdone. By the 2nd day, they were way too hard to eat.

When I finally heard back from customer service about first order, they offered to refund or replace that item, which was nice. I asked for a replacement, but fear I will be waiting for another extended period before I get a response.

Order came on time and was packed well. I wasn't worried about spoilage and it was as described. The lobster itself was amazing... was pleasantly surprised at receiving full lobster tail and claw meat. Really delicious. If I'm ever in Maine I'll look you all up.

I have placed 2 orders so far and BOTH times, the delivery date got pushed out for some reason or another. I selected and paid for a specific delivery date, which is the whole point of this company, delivering food as fresh as possible, but how can it be fresh if it is never delivered on time?!
My order was supposed to be delivered on Friday, 8/19. The package was delayed and now est delivery is Monday 8/22. When I placed the order, I selected a specific date for a reason. Delayed by 5 days is NOT acceptable. I will be on vacation during the new delivery date, which means the package will continue to sit at the FedEx warehouse until I am back, which is an additional 3 more days. This is such $#*! service!

I received my package several days later than expected. UPS is to blame; however, Goldbelly isn't providing an adequate resolution. They either want to give me credit for another future purchase or resend the order. UPS should be reimbursing me and Goldbelly should be helping me get my money back. I don't trust that UPS will get it right if I reorder, and given Goldbelly's limited resolution options, I'm not interested in doing business with them in the future. Goldbelly was good at selling the product, but offers little accountability at resolving the problem.

We've ordered a few things (mostly baked goods) that arrived in good shape and tasted good. Unfortunately it's really hit and miss. And when it's a "miss", good luck trying to post a review. No site or product is 100% perfect all the time... but it a company is truly interested in customer service, wouldn't they allow honest reviews of the products? Mind-bogging. I've started ordering directly from the food providers and bypassing GB.

Good: The BBQ I order tasted great and ordering was easy.

Not so good: on Goldbelly's site the ribs were advertised as "a full 3lbs per rack". But what I received was 2 1/4 lbs per rack. So my 6lbs of ribs were really 4 1/2 lbs which meant I was short food for my small gathering. Good weight is variable, I get it, but this is 25% less. So looking at the BBQ website, they advertise racks as 2 1/4 to 2 1/2 lbs each. Clearly the issue is with Goldbelly's site. Upon contacting them they basically said "oh well, here's a $15 coupon off your next order" but I asked for a 25% refund or the missing 1.5lbs of ribs. Very poor customer service to a repeat customer.

I can't trust them anymore, and won't recommend them to anyone.

Here's a secret - if you want Snow's BBQ - and it is fantastic - you can order direct from their site and save ~$40 for a 2 rack package shipped to you. That's how much Goldbelly up charges in this case.

They charged my credit card when ordered verses when shipped. This missed their delivery date and did not provide a new delivery date. Contacted them multiple times without response. The one thing they did right was refunded my money when asked without issues. For a company that is suppose to be in delivery they are a far cry from Amazon and how they keep you informed on the status of your order. I understand COVID-19, but there is no excuse for not providing accurate status on order and charging your CC before shipping!

The first pastry order was fine. The second order arrived in terrible shape. It looked like someone sat on the pastry - it was in crumbs and could not be used for the event I wanted it for. I called the bakery and they said they would replace it, but I had to contact Goldbelly. I contacted you and have not received a response. This was expensive pastry with a high shipping charge - I am NOT happy!

I received the rainbow cake from carlo's bakery with my 6 month subscription. I had actually ordered that exact cake a month prior. It would be nice if goldbelly looked at your order history to not send something I've already ordered. Otherwise everything was good.

They have track your order function. This is misleading if not intentionally dishonest. It simply uses the estimated lead time the supplier/restaurant has entered in the system. If your order is has not arrived it tells you your order date and estimated delivery date. It was days past the estimated delivery date and we had to email the customer care group that had a estimated 72 hour turn around time. This is a high price service with no actual service or tracking software.

I tried contacting Goldbelly to inform them of a glitch when i ordered 2 westholme 20 oz Waygu Ny Strips and was wrongfully accused of adding a steak. I have video of the glitch. It shows $169 then changes to $259. I'm sure it's on purpose hence the no refund. And no one fixes it.

Nothing thus far. The product was shipped by Southside Market &Barbecue of Texas.
It shipped on May 27 and I notified by FedEx that it would arrive on May 29th.
It didn't arrive until late on June 1st.
It was ruined and not healthy to eat. I'm told by Southside that Goldbelly would be responsible for replacing the items. Your staff advised me that a replacement is due on June 17th. Stay Tuned.

Aside from my own orders which I was extremely disappointed in the product, Goldbelly whitewashes the reviews. Actually provides no option for direct customer review of a product. Posts list 4.7 positive reviews out of 25k reviews. Well what happened to the rest of the customers which number over 300k.
My products were absolutely horrible. I threw them away because there is no recourse or return. Goldbelly does deliver quickly but it seems whatever is advertised is not always what you get. BUYER BEWARE

I recently ordered from gold belly while home in Hawaii on quarantine. Expected my order to be shipped next day air. The order went out a day later than expected but said that it would be here the next day. Unfortunately tracking on it now tells me it will not be here for four days. I know the company plans on shipping perishable items with some cool packs, but I can't imagine what the state of my order will be in when I receive it after traveling for five days. Stale bagels and spoiled cream cheese :(. Biggest waste of money ever! And company is slow to respond to my customer service requests, haven't heard from them yet.
Update - they are reshipping order to me next week. Hopefully it will arrive in a more timely manner.
