Specifically target old people That got caught up in a scam on the will.Try to sell you into thinking. They are your friends and they will get your money back In a specific time or you get your money back.
I can tell you that the sales person will not do a video chat with you. He will not give you his legitimate name. These are all red flags on top of the fact that once you pay them there gone just like the person who scammed you to begin with.
I highly discourage anyone from using this company.
Purchased 2 sets of glasses and spent over £137 no glasses at all only excuses excuses excuses followed their directions and sent the glasses back to the USA cost over £20 and now they want more money to fulfil the order this has taken over a year still no result DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY SAVE YOUR MONEY BUY FROM ANYONE NOT THESE PEOPLE
They are fine if you don't have a problem with the frames you've ordered.
Otherwise don't bother. 3 weeks in and still no refund
The registrant of "goggles4u.co.uk" is an individual called "Skybeans" living at 132 Redcliffe Street, Rodbourne, Swindon SN2 2BY, not American Eyewear Inc of California, USA... he or she refers orders to the USA. You might have noticed that the 0808 number for "Customer Service" is a UK number and that the Royal Mail tracking numbers given in replies to unhappy customers complaining on other Web sites originate in Greenford (London Borough of Ealing), not the USA.
You have no legal protection whatsoever unless the trader ("Skybeans") can be identified and made the subject of a Part 27 claim through your local County Court. Trading Standards won't be able to help and neither the domain registrar (123-Reg Limited) nor the. Uk registrar (Nominet Limited) are prepared to take any action despite "Skybeans" being in breach of Nominet rules and trading unlawfully in the UK.
I ordered varifocal glasses from goggles4u.co.uk who are actually Americaneyewear I received the glasses 10 days later they are actually made in Pakistan as I said in the headline they are the best varifocals I have had and they did not even want a photo for measurements just the prescription and PD also the 1.61 lenses they supplied are thinner than so called 1.67 lenses by other companies I have dealt with and they are also cheaper than any other online opticians I have found
Answer: The trademark owner in the USA (American Eyewear Inc. of California) trading via goggles4u.com is perfectly legitimate but the registrant of goggles4u.co.uk (note the different ending) is an unidentified individual called "Skybeans" living at 132 Redcliffe Street, Rodbourne, Swindon SN2 2BY who is breaking Nominet rules and trading unlawfully in the UK.
