Selena the cat with cancer is legitimate. They said it was under review and is now good to go. That was two weeks ago. They said they investigate everything. Someone who made it to the animal category is on there just because they said they lost their puppy. How did they investigate that, and why do they need money? There's no expenses in that, yet they made thousands just because they are allowed to be seen. I am blocked so Selena has to suffer just because gofundme is predudice!

GoFundMe has liquidated all my open positions without reason. I have filed a complaint with them.

These clowns will not release funds from a valid court order against the person asking for donations. This company is enabling fraud.

Only possible to email their support department, and keep getting the same generic template replies a week after sending the email that don't answer any questions or fix the problems i have. Set up a GDM page for a literally starving family (long term friends) living in Gaza, now refugees housed temporarily in Rafah. GFM immediately put the page 'under review', meaning people can still contribute but no money will be transferred to the needy. Long list of open-ended questions via email. I answer immediately then get no response. Still waiting after 3 days. A site that pertains to help, but does not actually help starving people (bc they are brown, imho) is worse than useless.

I had problems withdrawing my donations from GoFundMe after several weeks of waiting i was able to withdraw my funds with the help of Reguls.info they helped me out you can contact them for positive feedback if you are having problems they are fast and reliable

We set up a GoFundMe for a friend in distress and raised over $6000. Go fund me didn't allow for the funds to be transferred to my friend. They have no customer service phone number, no agents on chat and no responsive email address. I submitted numerous tickets and this issue never got resolved. Beware.

In 2018-2019 my mother had passed in Michigan.
When I tried to raise the money for her funeral through the go fund me page. The end result was I lost out on trying to bury my mother. Now all states. State that if you do not claim the deceased in time the people let the bodies up and cremate them together in a big pile of ash and that's it. By the way her name was Monica Renee McClanahan.

Just found out that my mum and I got scammed and i'm pretty pissed off about it. Like there's some real people out there who need help so scams don't sit well with me. Basically, I found out about Ian Rafalko because I happened to know a close friend of his. He was the one who told me about Ian's situation and being the kind of guy i am i thought i'd help out a bit by sending the link out. But what a bunch of BS this was. Turns out, according to his friend, Ian hasn't spent any of that $7000 on any mental health treatments which is what he was asking for on this gofundme.

Like where did my money go? Random stuff? I started to wonder after there was no updates or any real proof. No mention on his streams either. I guess Im the idiot for donating without looking into it more first? Also we reported it to GoFundMe... like how do ppl get away with this kinda thing? Wish I had read about this first.

Cant change password contact customer support changed 15 times still not letting me in Keeps saying network down for 5 days must be some foreign county

A $500 donation cost $15,5 day wait. I'm DIY, and have better options (some free or much less cost).

We made a donation and gofundme took fifteen percent for their own pocket without my authorization.

I organized a fundraiser through GoFundMe, their team paused my account transfers to review my account as my NGO which is based in the US is helping veterinarians who take care of stray dogs in Albania. It has been two weeks and their team has only responded twice (42 emails later from me) asking for info and promising to give this matter their full attention which has been nothing but lies. I still can't access my donations which my family and friends have kindly contributed towards and their team is back to being non responsive. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE, I WANT MY DONATIONS. GoFundMe is the worst.

There is no reason to believe there is a team except bots.

Try getting your money is difficult and you can't talk to a person. The bot is worthless. Never answers your questions.
