Go Fund Me will not allow organizers to access their accounts and they refuse to turn over the money raised. Go Fund Me is dodgy and won't come to the telephone. They deliberately lock people out of their accounts. They then give fake error messages claiming you cant log in because email and password is wrong, then after that they claim too many sign in attempts made. Lies lies lies. They have no legitimate reason people can't log in. They make millions of dollars on interest only by holding the money 90 days then refunding donors in full. Gross overstepping, this peaceful Canadian protest raised those funds, they are protesting against tyranny! We are illegally (yes illegally as no laws passed just mandates) bring imprisoned in our Country no jab you can't leave! You have sided with tyrants
GoFundMe has helped our organization fund the needs of our rescued animals for which I am very grateful. Inevitably when we contact the Helpdesk, we are already angry having tried to resolve an issue and failed. The customer service representative then gets the brunt of our frustration. Kim kept her cool while I was losing mine and we finally got the problem sorted out. So my rating is for the patience shown by Kim in my hour of need.
I have never seen a business or organization with no phone number to call. The email response is so generic and I can't reach anyone to help. I'm raising a charity for an orphanage and we did so well in one day, they ended up closing my account, refunding all the donations we raised with no valid reason, investigation or even responding to my emails

Unfortunately there are people who use and abuse the site for greed and selfishness not willing to work while others truly are in need of it. When someone uses it more than once, I'd be very suspicious. Know who you're funding and research them as narcissists are alive and "not well".
Started a go fund me a while ago we raised the goal of 10k. However, the family who was receiving the money only collected $6500 as they told us gofundme.com kept the rest. We thought the profits they take are too high. Anyways the family got their funeral paid for under $6000 so they were happy to have had the help. There should be a sign on their website dictating what they keep and what they distribute.
It was easy to open an account and submit a proposal for a project. I wanted help to restore my collectible car. Perhaps this should only be used for people who have real needs. I would appreciate better communication from this site.
I inadvertently put my $100 donation amount in the tip box. WOW was I stressed! Sent a message through "Contact Us" and had a response within the hour. I have also used Gofundme.com for two separate fundraisers and both were successful. Will definitely use again!
Our campaign to help replace my sons car which was destroyed after a UK v/s Florida football game was an awesome experience over all. The kindness that people showed us was so humbling.
I liked how I could send a personal thank you note to each donor, which I did and there were a lot of them. The only down side was some of hateful comments (which I know you can not control). In the end, we had a car dealership donate a car to my son, so we felt that we should return the money to the donors.

GoFundMe is a great online tool to help others. In particular, I was surprised that their customer service actually work. Many on line tools say you can contact them for help but they never respond to e-mails moreover in a timely manner. I had problems setting up my fundraiser and they were very responsive to all my questions. Many thanks to the staff for helping me help my high school.
We looked at putting our campaign on a different platform but were really frustrated by the lack of any mechanism to solve problems or ask questions. This being our first time at this sort of funding strategy, we found the GoFundMe site for customer service to be straightforward and fast.

I initially emailed with a question about the app... Very quick professional reply with a notation that if I needed anything else, feel free to inquire. I had a few other questions that came along and decided to email back along the same email chain that had been initiated and was blown away by the personalized attention to my issues, empathy and earnest desire to help me achieve the best possible outcome. I gave 5 stars, but on a scale of 5, it was more like a 10.
Unlike most online businesses, GoFundMe uses particularly attentive and responsive team members to react to customer needs. Their 24/7 action is second to none in my experience.
I had recently a small enquiry which was dealt with quickly and efficiently by Christina in the absence of my usual contact, Gina. This is yet another example of how efficient GoFundMe is when reacting to clients - not waiting but acting immediately.

I've managed or benefited from three campaigns now on GFM and I can say with 100% confidence, that I am satisfied with their service. I was involved in a horrible moped accident a month ago and shattered my pelvis. My friend created a gofundme campaign and we have raised almost $6000 dollars so far which will help immensely with loss of wages and medical expenses during my recovery.
I had a small problem with setting up my campaign, just a matter of US dollars or Australian dollars preventing me continuing and the problem was solved immediately. The Gofundme staff are very fun and very helpful no matter how often you contact them.

I made a donation, and then wrote a comment. It didn't show up, because I probably should have refreshed my page! I then wrote a second comment, saying basically the same thing, but with different words. When I looked at the go fund me the next day, I saw both my comments, and immediately wanted to get rid of one. I contacted customer support through a message, and let them know what happened, and submitted it. I expected to have to wait, but in less than an hour, maybe even 30 minutes, I received an email, notifying me that my comment had been removed! I was very impressed at how quickly the problem was taken care of, without me even having to go into a further explanation. I was very happy, and impressed with the service.
