Glyde was a pleasure to use. It can not get any easier to sell your leftover gadgets. The whole service experience gets an "A+" in my book. Good job!
I have sold several of my phones on Glyde and have not ever been disappointed!
Glyde offered the most return for my flawless Note II. In days it was sold and I had the negotiated check sent in the mail! Could not be easier! Will certainly use it again..
Using Glyde to sell my Iphone 5C was the easiest process ever! It's no hassle and stress free! On average it takes about a week to sell your device, they send you a mailing kit for your device and within a couple of days if everything is ok they deposit the money right into your bank account! Easy breezy!
I may never buy video games from a retailer again. As for selling games, Glyde has been a huge improvement over the old style of trading in games at a retailer (for pennies), or selling games on craigslist. My huge stack of old games went from being a burden to making me over $120 so far. As both a buyer, and a seller, I feel like I'm getting an incredible value out of this site.
I give this site 5 stars without hesitation. But if I could improve on only two things, it would be the following:
1) Please make account management easier. Let me see a list of the games for which I have price alerts set. Let me customer tailor my email preferences more.
2) I understand the limitations with shipping times, but I would still like them to be faster.
Sold my iPhone then gave my special link to a friend to get the $15 commission. The link was tried on various devices but did not work. She sold 2 iPhones and I got nothing.
My account put on hold and pending transaction cancelled even though my bank approved the funds.
Many emails later I still get the same form letter back saying they couldn't confirm details of my transaction. I kept asking if the hold was permanent and got the same email back for days. Enough, I'll go somewhere else.
What's that Microsoft? You didn't switch to digital-only distribution for the Xbox One? That seems unwise, but I appreciate you leaving the door open for Glyde. $65 for a new game has generally gotten me 3-4 used ones on resale and, when I didn't receive one from a bum seller, they took care of it quickly. Highly recommended as a gamer.
My phone was a complete dud! It wasn't functional or pretty anymore. I came across this site and decided "why not?". In literally 24 hours there was a buyer for my phone. My box was sent shortly after and $120 in my account. Can't get easier than that! Love this site!
Review title pretty much sums it up: I sold a couple old iPods on Glyde and it was ridiculously easy (search for make and model, click description, list item). They each sold within a few days, and then I got the shipping container from Glyde. Plop item in box, slap on shipping label, and drop in the mail. A few days later, Bitcoin gets dropped in your account. So cool!
I loved that they send the box and I just mail it out. Correspondence about price adjustments were professional and expedient.
It was super easy to list your phone! Glyde has super user interface. My pho ne sold, and the very well constructed mailing package was delivered. You send it off to the buyer and you are done! Super easy and safe! I would recommend glyde to anyone that wants to safely sell their used phone.
I tried selling 3 items. The first one I succesfully got the money added to my account, the other 2 didn't sell so they subtracted those costs from those 2 items that didn't sell from the money from my first sale and now I have no money. Stay away from this site
THIS SITE IS CRAP! I tried buying an IPhone TWICE and they CANCELED both of them! Glyde took the money out of my account, then over a week after I ordered it, I checked to see where my phone was and it said that it was CANCELED! That happened twice with the same site! > :( This site SUCKS SOOOOO BAD!
They help you post your phone for sale, let you know as soon as someone is interested in your phone, send you packing material, detailed instructions how to set your phone back to factory defaults for new phone usage, how to wipe all personal info from phone, money in account when transaction is all done.
I bought a game mid January and 2 weeks later I had not recieved the game. I contacted Glyde and they said they were going to look into it and refund me if necessary. A couple days later I got a game, It was the wrong game and wrong system. Glyde set me a return package so I could return it. It is now 1 1/2 months later and I just found out it wasn't a refund, they just removed the charge from my card and because of this I just realized I was refunded.
Selling my used games was entirely painless. Great experience.
I sold two phones on Glyde and by far I received twice the amount of money the phone companies were offering me for trade in value! I highly recommend using this site!
Thought it would be complitated, but it was very very easy. It is a whole lot better than letting my old phone just sit on the shelf. Thanks Glyde
I've sold a bunch of tech through Glyde, and almost all of my experiences have been great. My only suggestions for improvement are: (1) ship the package to the seller more quickly (2) provide a free text reason for a buyer's return that goes a bit beyond simple pick-list category, and (3) if a return has occurred and the seller re-lists, check with them to see if they still have the shipping box for re-use (and offer a PDF label print). I had an iphone sale come back to me because a tiny piece of foam had gotten between the camera lens and the caseback, which required quite literally fifteen seconds to fix properly. The only feedback I got while I waited the painfully long time for the sale to come back was something like "doesn't work properly." Then I re-listed it, made a sale $30 less than the original one because so much time had gone by, and still had to wait for another shipping kit to arrive when I still had a perfectly viable shipping box on hand from the prior sale/return cycle. Unusual circumstances, I know, but still those little tweaks would probably come into play fairly often. Overall, again, a great service -- and the best one out there, for certain. Thanks!
Answer: Glyde is a great companyi did have a bad experence with a purchase but glyde sent out a return label on them and i was credited really quick. When dealing with companies on the internet i use my amazon or my paypal so that way its not hlding up my personal account. At any rate my issue was the person that sold me the phone had sent me a phone that was originally a sprint phone but flashed to cricket carrier when i tried to switch it to sprint they werent able to program the phone and i was already a customer only they couldnt figure out why. When we were programming the phone it showed the name cricket as we completed a reset of the system. So most people these days they jailbreak phones or flash maybe another work at any rate your covered regardless but i would recommend
